One of RI's top popular Asian restaurants! They have several locations: Bristol, Providence, North Providence. I used to go to the Cumberland location as a kid but it closed down, so find myself at one of their Providence County locations often. They have great combination lunch specials for a great deal during the weekday. I recently visited for dinner with friends and it was a perfect spot to impress out of town guests. The restaurant offered a warm welcome and had holiday decor and music outside by the koi fish pond, setting a nice tone for the dinner date! The crab rangoons were great, nice and crispy and came with duck sauce on the side. I would get my Mongolian beef plate crispy next time but it was tasty. The General Tao's was sweet and juicy and goes great with a side of rice. The Thai crispy wings had a nice kick and was juicy and cooked perfectly. Our waitress exceeded our expectations. She had several tables on a busy Friday night but was attentive and quick. I'll definitely be back!

Never had a lychee martini in my life, yet this was probably the best cocktail I've had. The menu offered recognizable and comforting options, ensuring everyone in your party would find something they liked. For starters, I love the North Providence location for its ample parking. The outside was nicely decorated, leading to an interior that felt chic and upscale. We went on a Tuesday night as a party of four, right at dinner time/rush hour. Our waitress was phenomenal, checking in as often as she could despite the chaos. We took a family-style approach, ordering various dishes to share so we could sample an array of flavors. All the options were classic, simple, and just right. Here's the run down: Nime Chow w/Chicken: Refreshing and balanced, with the perfect herb-to-protein-to-carb ratio. The peanut dipping sauce and portions made it easy to share. Five Spice Calamari: Crunchy, well seasoned and with just the right amount of kick, it hit the spot. Chinese Broccoli in Oyster Sauce: Simple yet rich in flavor, adding balance to the table (and helping us get in our daily intake of veggies). Oriental Fried Rice (Homestyle Combination): A solid dish but ranked lower for me. While balanced and still tasty, I felt it could use just a bit more flavor to stand out. Crispy Chicken Wings w/Garlic + Chili Pepper: My favorite appetizer/dish of the night! The crunch and saltiness is too good. Sushi (Dragon Deluxe entree): Fresh, simple, and perfectly done. A variety of rolls composed this dish, like the dragon maki, red dragon maki, and white dragon maki. All of them were a win, but I would return for the white dragon specifically. Fried Green Tea Cream: Lightly sweetened batter with a subtle matcha center - great dessert w/no complaints. Overall, it was a lovely experience. The atmosphere is fantastic, with enough space to seat many guests while maintaining an intimate, cozy vibe. The menu offers something for everyone, with generous portions perfect for sharing or enjoying solo. This is a great spot for dates, nights out, and company outings. Unsure of what to wear? Jacky's Galaxie seems equally welcoming to casual and formal attire (as long as your date's on board ;)).

I go to Jackie's pretty often with my family, so I've tried several of their main dishes as we usually eat family style. Last time we ordered the beef skewers, pineapple fried rice, seafood fried rice, coconut walnut shrimp, yellow curry shrimp, steak stir fry, miso soup, sushi & sashimi deluxe, the calamari, & the Spider maki roll. The portions are very generous, although some dishes could have used a bit more flavor. I definitely recommend ordering the fried rice to complement the rest of the dishes. The sushi presentation was nice and the fish was fresh. Their menu is extensive - there will be something for everyone. The restaurant itself is also beautiful, with complimentary lighting and colors that makes it feel like you are in a luxurious setting - especially the banquet room for parties over 6. Service is always fast and friendly. They also have a large parking lot in the back which makes it convenient for larger parties to dine in.

Jackie's is safe and consistent. If you're looking for authentic Chinese restaurant - You'll be disappointed. Jackie's is more of an American Asian spot - When I say it's safe, I mean they're consistent. A wow dish factor for me is their chicken noodle rice soup. You must ask for their Thai basil (it used to be used), beans sprouts for the side. And i always get an additional 4 won tons for the win - added. Their lunch specials are a basic win...prices are good. Their veggies are always fresh. Steak tips are a must. Sushi is also a win.

The restaurant had a great ambiance. The sushi was solid, but the uni did seem/look fresh.

I have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions to try their different foods. Their rice and meat entrée dishes are terrible. Their sushi is good. The main thing that had kept me coming back for as many years as I did was literally their pork gyoza. This was the best that I could find in Providence, they were thin and very crispy and always seasoned to perfection. However, they changed how they do it and now they use a much thicker wrap. It is bland and it is now overpriced for some reason even though the quality has gone down tremendously. They also removed their mochi ice cream. This place is overhyped and overpriced.

    Nime Chow. The perfect food.

Since I was a kid, Galaxie's Nime Chow has been my favorite food. It brings back so many memories. I used to go to the other locations in NP or Cranston, which is no longer open. There are many, many fresh rolls in the world, but very few that this sauce. Also, the waitstaff are always friendly and polite, the service is quick. This venue is on the fancier side and has a nice cocktail bar, but I'm always here for the nime chow.

Ordered take out from this yummy restaurant tonight. It was ready in 30 minutes. Prices are reasonable too. The only place to notate dietary restrictions is in a comment box under each item when ordering online. This has been hit or miss at most other restaurants. Sometimes they read that important little box and mostly they don't. I was delighted to see Jackie's receipt on the bag that noted everything I mentioned to veganize each dish. The best part was everything was vegan thanks to their attention to detail. No eggs, dairy, or fish sauce. If you're an omnivore, you have even more options. They have delicious sushi (a few veggie roll options), noodle dishes, and rice dishes. Not to mention plenty of apps. There are a number of Jackie's restaurants in our little state that are all quite good, but tonight I'm so pleased with this North Providence location.

Quick bite to eat for Galentines Day :-) I'm surprised there was seating at the bar during the Day of Love. The sushi rolls are always fresh and delicious. The service is on point. The establishment is so pretty. Their other establishment at Waterplace is spectacularly beautiful. Happy Valentines Day:-)

Ordered the papaya salad, drunken noodles, pad thai, and thai tea (with jelly) for two people. Everything tasted really good. Everything tasted great: well-seasoned, not too sweet/salty/oily. I would recommend everything we ordered. We had some leftovers to take home. On our takeout order, we got the pad thai, pad see eiw, and Thai fried rice. Everything was packaged nicely and was still hot when we got home. I thought the quality of the pad thai was the same quality as when we sat down to eat. I also like the flavors of it and appreciate that they didn't have a side cup of fish sauce to add. Good! You're the chef, you tell me how it should taste and I can judge afterwards. My judgement: It's really yummy pad thai, probably my favorite. Parking is easy if it's not too crowded; there are spots immediately behind the restaurant. 4 stars because I am very happy to be a repeat customer. I had done some research and knew it was a small space so I was praying there would be enough open tables. When we talked in, there were about 3 tables open. It took a bit to get seated since the host/ server was busy getting together online orders and bringing out food to other customers. But after a couple minutes, we were allowed to pick our own table. They have 3 two person tables to the left, on an elevated platform. To the far front of the space, there were two booths which could easily fit 4 people each. To the right there were 3 tables for 4-5 people each. We went with the bigger table, but moved after a couple minutes to another table for a more private setting. For an appetizer, we put in an order of crab rangoons. As my entrée, I ordered the Khao Soi with seafood and my friend ordered the beef salad which comes with sticky rice. The crab rangoons came out after about 10 minutes. They looked crispy, and were wrapped in a cute, round way. The filling wasn't as creamy as I wish it would be, but it did taste a bit healthier than regular Chinese take out. The entress came out after about another 10 minutes. My Khao Soi came out with a big bowl, with some lime and peanuts on the side. I asked for more lime and cilantro on the side. The broth was a very vibrant color, creamy, sweet, a little tangy from the lime, and because of the cilantro had a fresh and clean flavor. I loved the combination of all the flavors, and it reminded me of a curry. The noodles were soft, but not falling apart and there was a good amount of it. There was plenty of seafood including calamari, shrimp, and mussels. The calamari was a little tough but the other items were good. I loved the crispy shallots on top as they provided an additional sweet but savory element. I finished the entire thing. My friend's salad was good. It was simple in that it was salads and herbs with minced meat but it tasted good. The sticky rice came in a ball wrapped in aluminum foil, and then put into their authentic little basket so it was full to pull apart. They do have a dessert menu and we were offered some, but I had no space. It seemed like the server was handling a lot at once so kudos to him and the small but mighty team in the back cooking everything up. I would be interested in trying other items on their menu.
