Chicken Teriyaki size small - 4 pieces & side of white rice

Really good food! Large portions & affordable! The chicken pad thai was delish, as were the steamed veggies! My boyfriend got the chicken teriyaki app & the small was very filling (good thing didn't order the large!) they delivered in less than 45 mins, would definitely recommend for a healthy easy take out dinner!! Pad Thai Chicken Teriyaki mixed veggies (steamed) came with a perfect little personal sized container of white rice!

Staff greeted us and got to see it real quick. We and another party was only ones there lunch time. Probably more take out than dine in. Menu selection was huge, so much to choose from. My gf is from china so picked out some noteworthy dishes to try and they did not disappoint! 4/5 stirfry bacon with bamboo shoots was excellent. The bacon is more like the fatty cross section of pork that's thinly sliced. It had a smoky flavor to it which mixes well with the crunchy bamboo and peppers. The spice level was also just right to give the dish a good kick. 3.5/5 fried intestines were also good but just didn't hit as well as the other dishes. Maybe just not crunchy enough. At least also spiced well. 5/5 Salted egg yolk with tofu... I could not stop eating this dish with rice. I don't know what kind of tofu they were using, but it was super silky, but it was also maintaining its form really well in firmness so doesn't break apart in contact. The salty egg yolk flavor balances out with the tofu and rice. It's so it's like a comfort food for me. 4.5/5 beef with Longhorn peppers, definitely on the spicy side, which I love. This dish was a bit softer than normal, but I was fine since we had rice to go with it. The beef strands mixed well with the thin sliced peppers so it was easy chew and the spice packs a punch. Overall, I love this place and will definitely come again when I'm around the area. The menu is so huge that I feel like I have to come back multiple times just to try 80% of the menu.

BYOB... enjoyed a nice sauvignon blanc.

Dim sum is usually a brunch thing, but we were in the area for a movie and just wanted dim sum for dinner. The two of us ordered the congee with shredded pork and thousand year egg, bok choy, salty shrimp, and off of the dim sum menu: steam rice roll with shrimp, chicken feet, oyster sauce duck feet, siu mai x2, shrimp chive dumplings, and Chinese tea. Forgot to take a photo of the siu mai even though that's our favorite. We also asked for hot mustard and chili oil sauce because that's how my family has eaten dim sum and that's how we now continue to enjoy dim sum. Everything tastes as expected. The chicken feet were nice and soft and fell off the bone. The dishes weren't too salty. The salty shrimp was as advertised--salty and crunchy. The congee is a large portion because it's mostly rice and water, but I just really wanted it and it did not disappoint. The tea could have been more flavorful, it was quite light. Despite that, the tea is still a diuretic. We did end up taking some food as leftovers. The customer service was really fast and polite! The interior is pleasant with interesting decor (a spear/halberd? mounted on the wall). The table partitions are pretty tall so you don't see the other customers if they're seated adjacent. It wasn't very busy when we went on a Wednesday evening, and parking is no issue at all here. Overall a good place to get some Chinese food whether you're a party of two or a party.

The pros: the new owners are very friendly and personable. The wonton soup is still great and has even more wontons and pork lately. The Peking ravioli seem to be even tastier than they have in the past. The cons: in the past 2 weeks, I've ordered several dishes that were very different and sub-par compared to the food under the former owners. The chicken and broccoli was very goopy and the chicken tasted spoiled. I had to throw it away. I ordered chicken teriyaki and that chicken tasted sour as well, as though it was spoiled or had some type of spoiled marinade on it. This happened to me twice. Last, the waitress is no longer there I guess, so there is one person trying to work the front and serve tables. It's not working out. The original owners were dedicated to their business and worked very hard to maintain high quality food and exceptional service. It is sad to say I am no longer a loyal customer to this establishment. What was once one of the busiest corners in Arctic is now a ghost town. Lunch specials are available daily and additional combination plates at a higher price are available all day. Interestingly, on these combos, rice is not a given, but you get two "side orders" from which you can use one for rice. Flexibility is good. -- Crispy Wontons: Small complimentary boat arrives before ordering as a welcoming gesture -- Hot and Sour Soup: A $6 small order gets you a pretty big bowl, filled with a thick, dark brown broth that's only slightly lumpy and is more than slightly spicy. If you like heat, this one's for you. If you like great quantity and variety of mushrooms and other floaties in your soup, maybe not-- limited in this aspect. Average to above average, depending on the above. -- Egg Roll: (on a combo) Interestingly crisp and bendy at the same time, with a moist interior of cabbage and little pork pellets that have the color and mouthfeel of #2 pencil erasers (don't ask). That said, quite tasty. I'm even going to say above average. -- Shrimp and Lobster Sauce (on a combo): HUGE props for the five pieces of fairly large and very nicely cooked shrimp hiding 'neath the surface in a separate bowl from the rice and app. At first glance, not much different looking from the soup. But there's ground pork sunk to the bottom (the sauce is much thinner than most) and LOTS of egg mixed in, so it's sort of a mishmash of Boston and New York styles for both flavor and texture while looking more like Boston. I'm not a fan of that much egg, or that thinness, but for those who are, this will be a treat-- especially given the portion size and the quality/quantity of shrimp. Above average for the right person. -- Pork Fried Rice: Slightly towards the dark end of the color spectrum and reasonably fresh and moist (aside from the pork nuggets) on a Sunday afternoon. No other add-ins (no onion, scallion, egg, bean sprouts). Mostly Rice-a-Roni flavor, with faint hints of the old time New England Chinese fried rice flavor. Average.
