He selected the shrimp & veggie combo with perfectly cooked shrimp & crisp-tender vegetables in a savory sauce that hit all the right notes. I ordered the pork lo mein, which was loaded with tender slices of pork & those delicious sauced noodles that make you go back for "just one more bite" (over & over & over again). We are new to the ma po tofu dish & it was delicious with a little extra Fly By Jing chili crisp. Everything was fresh & generous portions as always which allowed for several leftover meals. I've been coming here my ENTIRE life and the quality is always amazing and amazing staff.

The food was delicous and enough for leftovers. The chow mein and chop suey was hot, fresh-tasting chicken with no MSG or heavy corn starch use. Veggie fried rice spot-on! It was light and fresh cooked, not greasy or dried out dark brown. Chicken Noodle soup, nice broth and fresh chunks of tender chicken. Eggrolls were crispy and not greasy--yum. Fu Ming is more of a "take-out" restaurant, however there are afew tables, space small and atmosphere meh. Service with a smile Location is easy off RT 2 to RT 115. Can't wait to go back! I'm back in Rhode Island visiting family and I would like to say that this place is really good for people who have a wheat or gluten allergies. If you call them up, they will work with you to find items on the menu that are a possibility. the food is always fresh and delicious and the customer service is always so kind and accommodating. Only ordered a few things since it was my first time here and I didn't want blow a bunch of money. Everything we had was awesome. Got General Tso's chicken combo, beef and green beans and garlic sauce and boneless spareribs. General's chicken was great, the fried rice was perfect and the egg roll was delicious. I really wanted to like this place. The first time I tried the food here was when I first moved here, and I was sorely disappointed. Fast forward two years, I decided to try them again. I was craving some Chinese food, and they were the closest place available. The worst part was the egg roll that tasted like chemicals. I can't even comprehend why an egg roll would taste like that, but it was so bad I had to throw it away. And I hate wasting food. The fried rice was so-so. Nothing to write home about. Chinese food is Chinese food as far as I am concerned it is never really great but certainly can be bad. I would recommend Fu Ming because it delivers on expectations and I have yet to have anything that was bad. This was my first time trying this restaurant. I stopped in around lunchtime to get a takeout order and was greeted very quickly by the incredibly friendly employee at the takeout counter. After she took my order for a Szechuan Chicken combination, I had a seat while I waited and an empty booth. She had told me that my weight would probably be about 10 minutes, but it seemed like it was a few minutes shy of that when she was calling out that my order was ready. I left with my food and found a quiet and shady place to go enjoy my lunch in peace. I found the food to be very tasty and they gave me quite a generous portion. I was starving when I ordered my food so I was quite pleased to see how much they gave me at such a bargain price. I was even more happy that the food was really good since I've generally found that Chinese food is either really good or really bad and never anything in between. They have plenty of parking, so that's a huge bonus. I definitely see myself stopping there for lunch or dinner again soon. read more

I dabbled with Fu Ming plenty of times, but keeping in line with our values I decided it was time for a revisitation, this way I could provide the most current and accurate review. On the menu today was a Szcheuan Chicken combo with white rice and egg roll. Brian went with their Special Combination General Tso Chicken, which comes along with Beef Teriyaki, and Crab Rangoon. My combination received a thumbs up. One of my favorite things in life is water chestnuts. The dish had plenty of them which gave it great texture along with the fresh white meat, and flavorful sauce. The egg roll passes. From a portion perspective they certainly hit the mark. Clearly the food was prepared with care. Brian adds: "Overall a solid spot, glad we could add it to the list. I'd say their crab Rangoon was the best feature of the combination. I messed up and forgot to order white meat for the general (a rookie mistake at this point in the game) I got a few pieces white and dark meat. This really reflected the difference between the two, the white pieces being very good and the dark pieces not doing it for me. The beef teriyaki was serviceable. Overall, Fu Ming seems like a consistent spot. My top recommendation is the crab rangoon, or the classic play of a Pu Pu Platter for two." I feel Fu Ming is distinct and predictable. Ordering on the phone was very easy with a friendly girl taking the order. For pick up, and 5 minutes away, food was very hot when it arrived. Everything was freshly made. My spouse really enjoyed the sticky wings and beef teriyaki. I had the boneless chicken in batter that were quite large in size and cooked a little crispy that I loved with gravy on the side. The chicken chow mein was amazing as well as the chicken fried rice. We've been to a few Chinese restaurants in the area that just don't cut it lately meaning food isn't right or items were missing from the order not to mention substantial price increases. The prices here at FuMing are reasonable and portions are good. Our order was exact, with everything requested and we were so pleased, I contacted them and told them about our great experience. Really if I could give them 20 stars I would. After trying different Chinese restaurants based on yelp reviews I now know that no where in RI can even compete with Fu Ming. I have no reason to go anywhere else for Chinese but here..it can't get any better. The portions are unbelievably big, the food is the most delicious I have ever had and the prices are extremely low. Also the service is always fast, VERY friendly and they are always consistent. If you live in RI honestly take the drive and try fu ming you will not be disappointed. I love love love this place it is the only place I have found in the warwick area that actually has good food for cheap and the portions are always great!!!
