Were these ratings inflated, or was this a hidden gem people need to know about? The only way to discover the truth was to drive myself out there. Boy was that drive worth it! Fat Tiger is legit! While my standards are unreasonably lofty after eating copious dishes in South Korea on several occasions, the recipes made at Fat Tiger passed down from a Korean grandmother are spot on! Yes, it's true, some of the best Korean food in Middle Tennessee is all the way out in Dickson County!! Thank heavens for crowd-sourced review sites finding spots like this! On their recommendation, I went with the jaeyook bokkeum that I'd fallen in love with on an outing in Seoul. It's thinly shaved spicy pork marinated in a gochujang rub, pleasantly spicy but not so hot that you couldn't enjoy it. That was absolute perfection!
