I've been coming here for ~5 months for builder gel (no designs, just solid color) and it's consistently a great experience. I used to see Ava, and since she moved I've started seeing Q, who's been fantastic. Absolutely make an appointment though, bc it can get busy really fast. The drink menu is great as well. They offer a wide variety of teas, other drinks, and wine. No massage chairs for the pedicures, but that's okay because it gives the whole space a more classy, upscale feel. The recent addition of Fabi at the front desk really perfects the J'Adore Nails experience! She makes sure everyone is greeted, has a drink in hand, and knows the wifi password if they need it. The whole time I was there I don't think I saw her sit down once -- she was constantly helping other staff, prepping pedicure chairs, or cleaning. She's the perfect addition to the team!! I went in for a simple gel x manicure with polka dots and left pretty unhappy. Although I tried to call ahead for an appointment, they told me I could just walk in. The nail tech put gloves on and then preceded to touch the register, her phone, and many other surfaces. I noticed that I was not offered a drink when I went in like everyone else and the nail artist was rushing through my nails because she had to repair someone else's nails that were chipping. just a bit more time was needed because everything is so uneven, it doesn't really look intentional. She also didn't have me wash my hands after drilling down so there is dust in my paint and she rubbed the dust all over me with an oil at the end. Also, just note that apparently polka dots cost $20 to add to your nails. Overall, I wouldn't go here again, they were pretty rough on my cuticles and they're pretty tender and red from the service. Plus I feel like the outcome isn't worth the money, nor is the customer service. The man doing my pedicure was nice, but when I paid and tipped he immediately said something in a different language to my nail tech, so I'm assuming it was about how little I tipped which really left a bad taste in my mouth. Came here for a pedicure on a whim and it was a good experience! I didn't have to wait long and I believe it was a Monday or Tuesday, after work. Plenty of colors to choose from (more on back wall). I had the De-Reve Pedicure with Emma. The shop was not very busy but there were a few customers. I came on a weekday over the lunch hour and was in and out in 45 minutes. Emma was thorough with my pedicure and I left with very soft feet and a great polish job as well. With very short notice, I was able to get an appointment. The entire one-hour experience was delightful. The facility is sunny and located in a very residential area just a few minute walk from the Marriott hotel. I was greeted warmly and offered a libation (wine). Whew, this review originally was going to be 3 stars but the lovely ladies that work here quickly changed my mind and now I can't wait to return!!!! I was originally peeved because I called during the week to try and make a weekend appt but they don't do appts on weekends. So, I arrived there on a Saturday, 7 mins after they opened, and there were already about 20 people ahead of me! How sway?! LOL Clearly I didn't get the memo to camp out overnight like this place is releasing new Jordans...I was hot LOL and not temperature hot. I added my name to the waitlist and decided to walk around Uptown while I waited.....this was cool because I was able to walk to Romare Bearden and see the 9/11 memorial. That was very nice to experience, so the wait worked out. :) About 30 mins later I decided to walk back to the nail spot, went inside to wait and was called to a chair after about another 20 mins. My homegirl Chi was my nail tech (and yes she is my homegirl now cause I love her), and she did a wonderful job. She was so sweet and hilarious!!! Another gal that was working the front desk also came over and we were just cracking jokes and talking and having a great time! My pedi looks amazing, the shop is adorable...perfect for all kings and queens! I can't wait to return! But I know now to camp out overnight for a Saturday morning appt lol. Thanks ladies! read more

Last week we were in Charlotte North Carolina for four days, a town we have never stayed in. The team at The Ivey's hotel in downtown Charlotte found this nail boutique for me to get a pedicure the Monday after we checked in. Walking distance from the hotel! Team Kayla at J'Adore spoiled me rotten. The nail salon has wine and beverages to enjoy while sitting in the oversized plush chairs. I had to use Krazy glue to keep it Together. Now it's Sunday and most of them are chipping already. I do not appreciate paying money and tipping well to have results like this.
