I just had a bad experience with Xavier. My AC doesn't blow cool and he came over to investigate the issue. He didn't even inspect the inside unit in the attic even though I reminded me to do so and told him that there might be a leak there. (Every AC technician I hired before/after him at least went to the attic.) Without inspecting the inside unit, he determined that the outside unit was all the problem. He was so sure that I believed in him. He just changed the calibrator, refilled the Freon for $530 but it all leaked again in 48 hours. His 40 years experience is a joke and is one of the AC guys that does the bandaid fixes. read more

Dryer was making a squeaking noise. The little wheel needed to be changed. Very professional. Inside of our Dryer was filthy and had no idea the inside could get that dirty. Even found a 9 inch, fried snake in the Fan. Xavier fixed, cleaned, and did a great job! Dryer is like new! read more

This is the best appliance repair company I've EVER dealt with!! I called yesterday afternoon because our LG washing machine was leaking on the bottom and got an appointment for this morning! I loved there was no service call charge for a diagnosis because we were about to drop $700 on a washer. I'm glad we called them! The pricing was very reasonable with labor and one part. Oh, and there was no waiting for our part to get shipped...the tech had it there with him! We now have a washer that doesn't leak and it was zero headache having this repaired. I had a terrible situation that I needed immediate help with. It was late in the day on a Sunday and Xavier picked up the phone when called. I told him the model number of my dryer, described the issue I was having and within minutes he not only had diagnosed it, but told me what most likely part numbers that I would be needing. I called and we had an appointment scheduled for 1300 hrs. Our time came around and no technician. I called them and left two messages. No call back from anyone. No technician ever showed up or called back. Our service tech was Mr. Garcia who promised a 1300 hrs appointment time. At the very least a follow up call would have been nice. read more

We recently had a problem with our LG refrigerator. I called Xavier at Jag based on his excellent reviews. He contacted LG and reported back to me the next day that the service was covered by LG due to problems with the refrigerator and LG would have to send their company authorized repair person. Can't say enough good things about Xavier at Jag Service!!! Our refrigerator broke down on (of course) Labor Day. In desperation, and thinking there would be no way we could get anyone out to the house to help us on a holiday, we called Jag Service. Xavier answered right away and came out to the house that afternoon. He diagnosed the problem promptly, identified the part needed, and said he would be back the next day, (even apologizing that the stores weren't open to obtain the part that day due to the holiday!). He came back as promised the next day, charging a fair and honest price for the part and his labor, and our refrigerator is as good as new! Xavier was professional, competent, reliable and honest. The total cost was far, far below what we would have had to pay had we called GE or any other repair company. We could not be happier with Jag Service and Xavier. I've been using Mr. Garcia for all of my appliance repairs for about three years. He is very reasonable and professional. His service calls are free and he gives you an upfront quote so there aren't any surprises. Just this past year he fixed my refrigerator and Air conditioning system. Both were very minor repairs (thank goodness!). Our A/C went out the evening before Father's day. I sent him a text around 10:30PM asking when his next availability was. He quickly responded letting me know that he would be here first thing in the morning (on Father's Day) and even gave me some pointers on what to do in the meantime. I was delighted to know that relief from the miserable Texas summer heat was coming sooner than I thought possible. I mean.... what other company makes a last minute service call on Father's Day and doesn't up the charge? Free service call on Father's Day! Yeah, Mr. Garcia definitely values his customers! It turned out that we had a minor leak causing the system to be extremely low on freon. It was a quick and easy fix not to mention inexpensive. He could have easily charged us over $300 for this repair or lied and said that we needed a new capacitor or new system but he chose to be honest. My boyfriend and I contacted Xavier this passed Sunday because we were having problems with our dryer. We found an ad on Craigslist that detailed the services this company offers. These service were exactly what we needed...the ad stated they were available 7 days a week and included a free service call. We were able to reach Xavier fairly easily that Sunday and after some back and forth phone calls trying to figure out what exactly the problem was with the dryer instead of just scheduling with us on our first phone call a time to actually come look at it we were able to agree on a time and date for him to come out. That appointment was supposed to be yesterday at 4 pm. This person was a NO SHOW. No phone call to say he was late or reschedule, absolutely nothing. Better yet, when we tried to call him, he didn't answer his phone! So all in all my experience was a complete waste of time. Now I'll be spending more time looking for another repair company.
