Nothing is going to be much of a surprise here. I've never been to a Foster Freeze until I moved into the neighborhood, though I have seen them around. It's a typical fast food joint with a slightly more diverse menu and a bit better quality than your big chains, with a whole specialty on desserts. Kind of like a Dairy Queen but as a burger stand/drive through. I don't understand the people that order through the drive through and sit there in their cars at the window for 15 or so minutes. I just call in the order and take my time getting there and pick it up. That way you're not creating a silly long line around the stand. I started coming here out of convenience and price, but stopped because they got rid of the menu items that I used to regularly order. In fact, nearly all the restaurants that used to serve turkey burgers or beyond burgers in town have stopped. They also got rid of the fried zucchini. The only other thing I order from here is the grilled chicken sandwich, but it's not great because it seems like it's pre cooked and then frozen, then thawed out on the grill when ordered, because it's always kind of lukewarm in the middle, though thoroughly cooked. Get all the way home and my burger literally had meat cheese and sauce that was all. I only asked for no tomato. I got all the way back to have it fix and Tony had a bad attitude!!! I went to get my family some food and waited in line a little over 30 minutes and when I got to the window they said they were closing soon and only option for ice creams and fried food that the grill and everything was already shut down! There was several people behind me and not one time did anyone come out and inform any of us so here we all stayed in line waiting for nothing! The line also took long because one cashier went back and forth between windows causing more of a delay! Their not perfect but they are a establishment that has drive thru and for the most part the location and the food they serve is sometimes what a person needs. But, wait...I thought I had the wrong location? How could I revisit? The staff using their time to clean this place up and work on their customer service skills instead of sending ridiculous messages to patrons on social media is probably a better way for them to spend their time. If you're wondering if you should go to Fosters, maybe take a look at the fact that more than 50% of their reviews are 2 star or lower... 37 out of 90 reviews are one star so more than one out of three visitors leaves dissatisfied. I always like to come here for a little sweet treat and it's very convenient with a drive-through however they really need to make changes. You cannot read a single thing about the prices, they've been taped over several times. The service is horrible they take forever. The quality of their food is not very good and it has become crazy expensive. It's the same junk food you can heat up at home but is usually convenient to get. But with the prices and wait times I'd much rather go somewhere else. I'm giving this Frosty Freeze 5-stars for great customer service. Barbara, Owner and Sherry, Manager, were great! I walked here with my two doggies, ordered a Grilled Cheese Sandwich that came with fries and a small drink. I got the sandwich and fries... but no small drink (I asked for water with alot of ice). Barbara and Sherry came up to me and asked if everything was alright and apologized to me for not getting my water with my meal. I assured them all was fine except one small thing - the French fries tasted like powder (at least the few I had already eaten). The both apologized profusely and offered me a new batch which I declined (I didn't want to waste it). Overall, a good experience - the tables were clean and the staff friendly - especially the guy working on the exterior who owned the Silver corvette! The wait in the drive thru is crazy long, even when they have no other customers. Instead of taking orders outside they will wait for you to get to the window even if they are slow. I love chocolate dipped frosty's and to have chocolate ice cream made me even happier!!! The smalls are huge. We sat and ate our ice cream as we watched families after families come in for a treat or food.
