    Hair in my burger. Nasty.

Just sat in line for 20min. Nasty place. Had hair in my food. What a waste of time and money.

Nothing is going to be much of a surprise here. I've never been to a Foster Freeze until I moved into the neighborhood, though I have seen them around. It's a typical fast food joint with a slightly more diverse menu and a bit better quality than your big chains, with a whole specialty on desserts. Kind of like a Dairy Queen but as a burger stand/drive through. I don't understand the people that order through the drive through and sit there in their cars at the window for 15 or so minutes. I just call in the order and take my time getting there and pick it up. That way you're not creating a silly long line around the stand. I started coming here out of convenience and price, but stopped because they got rid of the menu items that I used to regularly order. In fact, nearly all the restaurants that used to serve turkey burgers or beyond burgers in town have stopped. They also got rid of the fried zucchini. The only other thing I order from here is the grilled chicken sandwich, but it's not great because it seems like it's pre cooked and then frozen, then thawed out on the grill when ordered, because it's always kind of lukewarm in the middle, though thoroughly cooked. So there you have it. Not bad. Not great.

Very delicious food, I've had the hotdog, burger, and different ice creams that were all very good. The service is great all the employees are nice and the food comes very fast. The ambiance is also nice, all the seats are outside and it's good to feel the breeze on a summer day.

Some black stuff I found in my shake

I came a night before they didn't have bananas my husband ordered with regular banana syrup and it was not good at all I had ordered a large but since they didn't have bananas I ordered the tripe berry. The shakes tasted like straight milk or just vanilla icecream. Came again today to see if they'll make it better since they had bananas and it still tastes like sh*t. Not only that but as I was drinking it I felt something & seen some black stuff Definitely not coming again they give the one in LA a bad name smh ‍ I'll be trying the one in Tracy because I see why they have better reviews. Do not come for the shakes Such a waste of gas coming from Stockton. I rather just make my own.

Wow. SQZ Burger has been open for nearly three years in Lodi and I never noticed it. I know I've…read moredriven past it many times, but I guess their signage is too modest compared to the huge "IDOL BEER WORKS" on the other end of the building. I figured it was just another iteration of the original (now long gone) Squeeze Inn in Sacramento, and I was right. I don't think the various locations are franchises, but are more likely independently owned, and the quality varies from location to location. The one that used to be in West Sac, for instance, was terrible, which might explain why it's been gone for years. And the mid-town was also a resounding MEH, and also gone. There's nothing at any version of Squeeze Inn/Burger that I want more than just a basic Squeeze (or in this case, SQZ) with Cheese, though. I don't want a taco, nor a BLT, and especially not chicken strips. I want that which made the brand famous. A cheeseburger with all the traditional toppings and a cheese skirt just dripping cheese grease off it. SQZ Burger delivers the goods. The cheese skirt was just the right size, not too big, not too small. At one point in my life I would have said that there's no such thing as a cheese skirt that's too big, but a couple of years ago I had a cheese skirt that was so big that I felt sick afterward from all the cheese grease! In addition to the just right amount of cheese, the burger had lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, and a healthy schmear of mayo and mustard. Damn near a perfect burger. The owner was running the register on my visit, and when she brought my food out, she asked if I wanted a side of ranch. I'm the kind of guy who would drink ranch dressing if I could, so of course I accepted. I didn't even ask - It was nice of her to offer! There's a throughline from the original Squeeze Inn on Power Inn Road to SQZ Burger, too. The father of the husband half of the H/W ownership team owned the original location. Brandon and Katie ran the Galt location for several years, and have now brought the goodness to a Lodi brick and mortar spot. I'll definitely be back.

I had the western bacon cheeseburger with fries and a strawberry shake. These burger was full of flavor and BIG! Not sure exactly how they make their fries, but they're amazing. And my strawberry shake was good also. We had about 45 people all land at the same time, and SQZ was able to quickly get us all served in short order. I do love the vibe of both SQZ & IDOL. It was a nice little drive both ways with an epic food stop in between.

We've been wanting to try this spot for a while, and since their other location is closed in Sacramento on Tuesdays, we finally made the trip to Lodi and wow, it was absolutely worth it the wait and Abdul that helped us was cool. He had a good sense of humor. We were coming back from Monterey and all of us were hungry. We ordered quite a feast: (3) chicken tikka wraps without lettuce 8 piece chicken tikka 8 piece chicken malai 6 regular naans + 1 garlic naan Tandoori fish order Tandoori chicken pizza Chicken tikka masala rice plate Every single item was flavorful, mouth watering, and cooked perfectly. The chicken tikka and malai were tender and packed with flavor. The naans were soft and fresh, and the chicken tikka masala rice plate had that rich, comforting sauce that was creamy smooth you can't stop eating and dipping your naan into. The tandoori fish was a standout smoky, well seasoned, and tender. They give a lot of meat inside the wraps. The tandoori chicken pizza... let's just say we couldn't even wait to get home. We ate a slice in the car because the smell alone was too tempting. That's how good it was. We took everything to go, the quality was top tier! You can tell they care about their food and flavors and wanting their customers happy. Abdul kept letting us know the status of our order and took care of us with chutney and ranch. If you've been thinking about trying Smokey Grill, don't wait.... this place delivers on every level! Ask for Abdul, he is down to earth nice guy. 5 stars!! Thanks Abdul!! Photos are attached

Melissa, the owner, could not have been more welcoming. She shared that she and her husband are UOP grads themselves, which made the visit feel even more special given why we were in town. The food was outstanding. The pork schnitzel sandwich was cooked perfectly: crispy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. The deviled eggs were some of the best we've had in a long time, creamy with just the right kick. It's clear this is a place run with real pride, and it means a lot to support a local, family-run spot like this in Lodi, especially one with such genuine UOP roots. If you're ever dropping off (or picking up) a Tiger, make time to stop in. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to campus.

Now was a good as time as any! As we entered, there was a sign to meet at the bar for seating. The waitress/server came out after a bit of a wait and according to my friend, it's usually a longer wait time around lunch for someone to come out and seat you. I was recommended to try the pork schnitzel by my friend and it did not disappoint. I got my sandwich with a side salad. We also ordered the deviled eggs to share. My friend has never had the deviled eggs before and pleasantly surprised and delighted that the eggs were absolutely delicious. They're very smooth, eggs were cooked perfectly and the touch of bacon was just right. It does come with a small helping of mixed greens topped with pickled onions. The pork schnitzel was crispy & crunchy due to the breaded pork loin, came with pickled onions, slaw and the chipotle aioli sauce. The sauce does have a bit of a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy, well, at least for me. My salad was very good too. It was colorful and had an interestingly tangy dressing on it. It paired well with the sandwich. One was spicy and the salad was tangy but refreshing. My friend also ordered the pork schnitzel with beef tallow fries. I tried some of her fries and they were thin but still crispy. Overall the food at West Oak Nosh was so good and delicious! Service was good, prompt and our server was attentive despite being by herself. I think this place is great for the summer to have a drink and eat. Will have to come back for the drinks!

The buns looked like they were sourced from some low cost overseas supplier, even the lettuce was chintzy and wilted. Dreams crushed. I ordered the "Two Egger" because who doesn't like breakfast for dinner, am I right ? The disappointment continued. The bacon was thin, overcooked and just cheap tasting. The hash browns were a bit undercooked and the potatoes just tasted a bit off. Not in a spoiled way, just not high quality potatoes. The eggs were fine. We ordered a Strawberry Tart for dessert. The hallmark of Nations. Terrible, just terrible. The crust was soft and soggy. The strawberries were mushy and the whipped cream tasted old.
