Somehow, I've never been here! It was so good. Everything was delicious and very flavorful. We had the Samosa Chaat and papadums as appetizers- both were fantastic. I loved the sauces for the papadums, and the deconstructed samosa was very tasty. Our mains (lamb korma and chicken vindaloo) were both excellent, very large, and more than enough for lunch the next day. Service was perfect; very attentive and helpful. read more

I had such a great experience at Jaipore Xpress! The food was absolutely wonderful--everything was super flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can really tell they put effort into every dish. The service was amazing too. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and they really make sure everything is proper--from the way the food is presented to checking in and making sure you have everything you need. Deeeelicioso! Lamb butter masala was tender and flavorful. Couldn't stop sopping up the sauce with the fresh naan. Rice perfectly light and fluffy. The side of lentils yummy and mildly spiced. Although it was the lunch express portion, I still ended up with a doggie bag, which I enjoyed a second time. Can't wait to go back! BTW- service is great! read more

We were excited to find what so many described as a gem. Unfortunately, it was lacking. The poor server was not only serving food but taking care of pick-up orders and answering the phone. We were intrigued by the options on menu but who would have thought that it could take more than 35 vminutes for two entrees to be cooked and delivered. Not us. People who came in after us were served their appetizers and even one table got an entree before we did. The server apologized but the wait was just too long (as well as for online/phone orders who routinely heard that they needed ten more minutes). The phone was ringing off the hook and the one guy serving could not keep up. The food was decent but the rice dishes (one which came with the meal and the lemon rice we ordered) were so salty that it was almost unpleasant. Tandoori meat was excellent but not a lot on the plate. The vegan aloo gobi was tasty but once again overly salted. Will we try again? This place is not express at all, the kitchen is too slow. The food is overall too salty and not fabulously spiced. We walked out with a bill of over 50 dollars for 2 with a very medicore experience. It is clear others love the experience----so maybe one more try of take-out but that is definitely, just a maybe. read more

I love this new addition to Briarcliff Manor. It's a pretty Indian restaurant with incredible food and very friendly staff. Highly recommend pretty much everything on the menu! My Aloo Gobi was a generous helping of delicious vegetables. My husband's Chicken Tikka Masala was "out of this world" to quote him. The Pakora was big enough to share as an appetizer and was honestly the best Pakora I've ever had. To put this in context - I'm from England where we really know our Indian food! The Lentil Soup was very delicious and the rice pudding tasted like ambrosia from heaven. The plain Naan bread was crispy rather than soft. A new Indian place! So much good happening in this hidden gem Indian restaurant. Food was really tasted authentic and not watered down as they can alter the spices of sauce in your liking. If you love Indian food I would recommend going to this place. Food was so delicious and fresh. Can't complain either of their reasonable prices and big portions that we had left over to take away. If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would have!, We had set out to go for dinner at a restaurant across the street. I had asked my husband if we could look in the window at Jaipore Express and just check it out. One look at their menu and an open table calling our name we changed our plan and walked in. The restaurant was very busy with people picking up take out orders but our waiter, Roshan was very friendly and welcoming, saris, brought over menus and poured us some water (Saratoga water). He explained they were currently BYOB and even suggested a liquor store close by if we wanted to pick up a bottle. We placed our order... vegetable Samosa, Chicken Tikka Masala, Malai Kabob, and a garlic Nan. After placing the order my husband went to the liquor store and bought a bottle of wine, he was back and forth in 5 minutes. First up was the Samosa, absolute deliciousness. The outside was flaky and the inside had a little spiciness but so good. It came three to an appetizer. They are very good at constantly refilling our water, i especially needed it. .A little while later our entrees came out. The Chicken Malai Kabob was perfectly prepared, exactly the way I like it. My husband Chicken Tikka Masala was one of the best he has ever had, huge plentiful pieces of chicken in a bowl of deliciously slightly sweet sauce.. They also give you a huge bowl of Basmati rice, and constantly offer to refill. We also enjoyed the garlic Nan, perfectl. The staff was so friendly, we met the owners... John and Phillip as well. They really made us feel so welcome, especially Rohan.. To complete our meal they brought over some rice pudding on the house, also so delicious! They packed up all of our leftovers, I swear there is enough for another whole meal. From start to finish, this was a home run, and we will be back. We stopped here on the way upstate as my son was craving some chicken Tikka. He was not disappointed with his meal, and the lamb saag that I ordered was delicious. When they packaged up our leftovers to bring with us, they even included an extra rice pudding! Yes please! This small hole in the wall place promises big flavor and portions! The food came out quickly and was flavorful. We ordered way too much food but enjoyed tasty dishes that are not your typical same old same old. Imli baingan was new for us but so good. Lamb chops were cooked perfectly (IYKYK). I had never seen or heard of this place until I stumbled upon it by accident and wow I'm glad I did. I don't typically seek Indian food out - but this changes everything. My partner and I ordered online and we got the chicken tikka masala and chicken korma and a side of garlic naan. The chicken was tender, no weird stringy or chewy bits, the sauce was delicious and creamy and the naan was also very good. My one critique is that I wish more naan came in a serving because it is just so good. The pickup was easy and the food was ready to go, and the customer service was also very good and they were super kind. Will definitely be back again soon. Definitely a hidden gem. read more

So excited to have this Indian restaurant open so close to Ossining! I'm used to Coromandel in New Rochelle but this is my new fave:) Everything I had was wonderful and actually better than I have tasted in other restaurants the last few years. Highly recommend the lemon rice, chicken Tikka masala, saag paneer, matar paneer... and don't forget the naan! Everything was seasoned beautifully and I asked for a little kick to it (mild to medium). Looking forward to trying lamb dishes next. Everything we've tried here is very flavorful and fresh. The vindaloo is nice and hot. The masala is rich and creamy. The sag is vibrant. And the meats are tender. The hot lime pickle is a must. The service is quick and attentive to detail. We have only taken out, but picking up the decors looks clean and new, on the elegant side. I have not seen anyone dining in, however. The prices are on the higher side and the portions are ample. We split 3 entrees between 4 people with 2 orders of nan, and still had food leftover. read more
