I added cheddar cheese and veggie cream cheese. The portion is generous and priced well. They are not stingy when it comes to giving ingredients. My only 'con' is I thought the bagel was kind of plain. I asked for sourdough and may have gotten a plain bagel by mistake, no worries though. Everything else made up for it. I ordered a sesame bagel with strawberry cream cheese. As I was eating it, I started to wonder why it tasted like cinnamon, and then I noticed there were nuts in it. I realized they gave me the cranberry walnut cream cheese (I didn't notice right away because the color was still slightly pink and the flavor was fruity). It was good so I still ate it, but it was a bit disappointing to not get what I was looking forward to. We told the employees before we left, and they apologized and said they'd remake it, but I had already eaten the entire bagel so I told them no it's okay. When they make your sandwiches hearty, the price is justified. When they don't put as much inside, it's hard to justify the value because you know you've gotten better made sandwiches. Pickles can be a hit or a miss for me. I like my pickles to be crunch, but some places offer overripened ones that become borderline mushy. Schmaltz's half sour pickle was not overly salty or sour, making it very attractive for me. The more I'm thinking about it, I'm convinced that I'll have to go back and try their #14 Sloppy Paul, which is the corned beef with sauerkraut, which is another favorite of mine.
