The vibe here is strong - wall-to-wall Oklahoma City Thunder gear and sports nostalgia that kept me entertained throughout the visit! According to my Swarm app, it's been since 2012 since I last stopped in -- and honestly, I remembered it differently. Both my wife and I ordered the Famous Coney. Great presentation, but the flavor just didn't hit the mark for me this time. Also worth noting: no fries, just chips... and no utensils made cleanup a bit messy. (Shoutout to fingers - the original fork.) Will I be back? Maybe in another decade... but still had fun soaking in the atmosphere.

Amazing experience. My dad's friend owns the place and he is the nicest person I have ever met. I recommend going here if I were you! Oh forgot to mention the hot dogs are insane. He does all style of hot dogs so I ordered the original and it is probably one of the best hot dogs I have ever had.

Good little hot dogs. Interesting space. Service could be a little more welcoming. I honestly thought the guy behind the counter was mad... he never broke a smile.

Ate here today for the first time and I must confess it is not bad! I wish there were more Coney Island places in Edmond closer to our house like Jakes. My son also enjoyed the food. The menu is very simple but still offer a nice selection of different coneys for everyone. In addition to coneys they have frito chili pie and nachos. You can get 1-4 coneys per combo or mix and match any of the combos. We had four coneys between the three of us and a frito chili pie. I thought everything was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. This is a great place for a quick bite. We will definitely be back.

Food is phenomenal I recommend getting the 3 coney combo the coney's are small. All the options are amazing and not just that the service was outstanding. The place was nice and clean, also there was games to play and great place to just hangout.

Great, basic coney. Exactly what it should be. 3 way and frito pie are good too. Owner runs a fun, clean restaurant.

They're a New York city style push cart hot dog stand with fantastic tasting hot dogs. I choose the Larry with sauerkraut and deli style mustard. The bun was the absolute best I've ever had. Warm, soft, & did not fall apart. An all round great tasting dog. That being said I didn't give Split top 5 stars because they were simply out of the average Joe, & Jane's price range. With the plain hotdog starting at $5.00 and three of the eight listed dogs were $10.00 each. The rest were $7 to $ 8 bucks each. Don't infer from the four star rating I gave that they aren't superior hotdogs. They were outstanding in every way, but taking the family out for lunch would turn into an expensive outing.

Heck, even if you've just been to the East Coast-and even if you haven't, SplitTopDogs is here to save you. Luke- the Owner, founder, and chef behind this hot dog cart in Westwood is here to bring us a taste that was near impossible to find in LA a few months ago The steamed #hotdog that inspired this cart was great. It really was. The homemade chili was also great- Coney Island style! BUT the real star of the show is the Philly CheeseSteak. Luke uses bone-in primerib and ribeye and then shaves it razor thin to get the highest quality meat. Sizzled to perfection and lightly seasoned on his portable griddle. The Amoroso roll is truly a rare find and thing of beauty, but adds an undeniable element to this sandwich that takes it up a whole level. Grilled beside the meat, it's perfectly toasty and soft. The provolone is thrown on top of the meat while it's cooking so the #cheese is melted and you get some in each bite. I opted for no peppers and onions, so Luke recommended his homemade Giardiniera. This added some texture to the sandwich, and some understated heat that really played well versus the cheese- a true differentiator in the cheesesteak game. Made fresh in front of you, able to be eaten right there on the street or taken to go it's the perfect #lunchbreak meal if you go to UCLA or work nearby. But also, travel here just for this

We had a hankering for a good old fashioned greasy spoon hamburger. As always Ron's hit the spot. We ordered our standard hamburgers and tater tots. Everything came out hot, and just what we expected and wanted. If you've never had Ron's just know that the paper towels that are on the table are there for a reason. Like an old time diner the buns have a coating of grease and I mean that in the best possible way. The hamburger is dressed exactly like a hamburger should be with lettuce, tomato, pickles and mustard. They are just good. The tater tots are the best we've had. They are always crispy and hot. We don't like wimpy tots and Ron's aren't wimpy. In fact tonight's were so hot we had to wait a minute to eat them. Service is always timely, personable, and just attentive enough. We've had the same server almost every time we've been there. Ron's is not haute cuisine, but for a good hamburger it's about the best in town. Oh, and the chili cheese dog is pretty good too. Forgot to mention the price. It's very affordable compared to some of the other hamburger places. We'll be back in about 4-6 weeks.

Located in the first-level food court of the…read morePenn Square Mall, Oh K-Dog specializes in a unique treat served on a stick, better known as a Korean rice hotdog, which has become quite the popular street food in its native Korea. Instead of the cornmeal found in your traditional American corn dog, Oh K-Dog uses a batter primarily made from rice flour, cornstarch, and yeast. This in turn gives Oh K-Dog's Korean-style corn dogs a more unique, chewy texture. What also makes Oh K-Dog's dogs so unique is that they have upped the ante with their fillings which include mozzarella and cheddar cheese, potatoes, and even squid. Since opening their first location in the metropolitan Oklahoma City area, they have become a top destination at the Penn Square Mall, and when locals insisted that we come with them during a recent shopping excursion, we were sold on trying a quick deep-fried treat. It was busy when we first arrived during the main lunch hour to the food court, but the wait times for our food and finding a table would subside. The menu at this location mainly consists of eleven options of their signature Oh K-Dogs, as it seems their Egg Sandwiches have taken a bit of a backseat, as had they been on their menu, we would have certainly ordered those as well. Our group of six just wanted to get a sample of what Oh K-Dog had to offer and we decided to order a variety of their signature Mozza dogs, two enveloped in Hot Cheetos and two with just the rice flour coating; and I personally decided to order their Chedda Dog. To complete our lunchtime meal, we also ordered a regular sized Pink Lemonade Slush. It would actually take quite a bit of time for our order number to be called out, so thankfully the table we did find wasn't too far away. Once we were able to receive our order, we looked at our five Oh K-Dog's and dove right in. We would appreciate the crispiness of each Oh K-Dog as the mozzarella cheese and rice flour based coating would make for the one of the most unique flavor profiles that I have enjoyed in quite some time. Thankfully, Oh K-Dogs also had a condiment bar with ranch, ketchup, garlic, honey mustard and even Sriracha among the featured flavors. This would help in enhancing the umami when enjoying our Oh K-Dogs, as the batter would be a considerably harder shell than we would encounter with your traditional corn dog. There were some pluses and minuses with the overall taste of our meal, but the quality of their hand-dipped dogs cannot be denied. This only made me want to return to Oh K-Dogs to try their non-menu meals of their Egg Sandwiches, which leads me to believe that they could be even heartier meals than their dogs. With a total bill of $41.29 for five dogs, two with an extra layer of Hot Cheetos and one drink, it was a considerable amount for the amount of food we enjoyed for this lunchtime meal. At Oh K-Dogs they are bringing a popular street food to the masses to even central Oklahoma, golden brown dogs that could become a golden goose!
