Jakes Game Day is a sports bar version of the Jakes Burgers and Beer. It's not super different but leans more towards TVs and a bar feel. It's relaxed and casual. Their wings are pretty good and definitely a highlight on the menu. The typical bar food and burgers are also satisfying. What stood out was the friendly service and the overall cleanliness of the place. While the prices are slightly higher than some other comparable places, they make up for it with their specials. For example, last time I was there, they had $5 quesadillas. Hard to pass up on that! Plus, the small game room for kids is a nice addition if you're dining with family. The abundance of TVs ensures you won't miss any action, making it a top spot for for catching a game. There's nothing truly outstanding about this place for me, but nothing bad at all! For our first visit to this new location, we found that this Jake's follows the same pattern as other Jake's: good food but poor service. Walked in with two kids, told em we needed two high chairs but they only brought us one. No big deal, I went and grabbed another one myself. Server said he was new, but he just didn't have any idea what he was doing. We were patient with him, but the service was just plain bad. Asked for large margaritas, he brought us regular size. Asked for juice for the kid, he forgot it and had to be reminded. Ordered the $8 chips and queso appetizer, and he forgot to put it in and had to be reminded. When it finally came out, it was a tray of chips with two small personal ramekins of queso; definitely not what an appetizer for the table is supposed to look like. When the burgers came out, they were great. Just had some issues with service that made it a little frustrating. Hopefully they get it together, we'll give it another shot another day. read more

Didn't have a good experience here last night with friends. I ordered nachos and the guacamole and pico was brown and old... Looked awful! Once closing time came around, we were kicked out as I was enjoying my chat with friends. I have never heard of people being kicked out of a restaurant at closing time. We went here this passing Friday, July 7th to get one double cheese burger and fries, it took almost an hour to get that burger. I understand that circumstances occur but the place was 1/4 occupied and we still had to pay full price on it. Went for lunch during October 2023. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much more than an average burger spot, or less. The food was very good. The burgers were great. The cheese fries were up there, if not better than, Snuffers. Only down side was service was just a bit slow as the bartender was the sole server for the whole restaurant. Whatever you do, avoid this place. I was hesitant to ever order from here per the reviews on how bad the service is, but since all the other Jakes have great food , I frisked it. But this location has lived up to true rumors Especially for food delivery specifically Uber eats. Delivery time quoted as 15-20 minutes however after an hour of nothing moving I was given the option to cancel my order, so I did. Now I'm being charged for the full amount even though I never received any orders from them. Once the order is placed it is immediately accepted by the e restaurant however this guarantees the restaurant payment whether the food is produced or not. The restaurant and Uber both have refused to refund my money. read more

I'll start with the good, plenty of TVs on game day, very clean, and the service was pretty good. We both had drinks and dinner. Don't get anything that requires gravy, it's water-- they should invest in flour. When I ordered my food I asked for extra gravy, they will charge you for that gravy water. First the positive: good setup for a sports bar. Plenty of TVS and lots of opportunities to watch different game. Now the negative: the food is anywhere from meh to bad and the service is awful. I read reviews from Google that turned out to be quite accurate. The food is not worth the visit and the staff is bad even for post-covid dining. You have an apathetic staff that basically hides in the kitchen and comes out occasionally to give service. 1:30 on a Saturday should be a sweet spot for people looking to eat, drink and watch football and you would expect the service to be on point. That was clearly not the case at this location. I mean we were not even offered silverware once our food was served. We had to ask for silverware and napkins after sitting for over 30 minutes waiting for food. The food as mentioned is meh. I mean it is a burger place so the food should at least come out reasonably warm? Nope, room temperature burger and tots. I want this place to be good because it is so close to home and the atmosphere is pretty good. Honestly this place sucks and it will be a new place in 12-18 months. read more

Now that they've had some time to establish this location we thought we'd try it out. Happy to say we were not disappointed! We enjoyed the French onion dip with house made chips and our enormous burgers were delicious and fresh. We also got some fantastic cocktails from the friendly, attentive bartender. The manager stopped by to check on us but we had no complaints! There is also a really fun arcade area off the main room that doesn't compete with the sports bar area and the music was a good mix with a little bit of everything being played. We really hope this place sticks around and we will be back! read more

OMG!!! Amazing food and service. This place was so good. Bri, our waitress, gave great suggestions of food to try and drinks. I always go with the Bacon Blue burger. She suggested the Blacken chicken pasta. My husband was impress with his Flaming rooster. Jake's Saddle Burn Pepper sauce he loved. The atmosphere here is great. They have done a total overhaul. this place was Endzone and it had been around for years. Recently it changed to Jakes and we actually came because we didn't know End Zone was gone and my friend loved the blacked chicken pasta. they still kind of have that pasta but it's not the same anymore. I ended up talking to a manager because we asked for extra sauce on the pasta and was charged 3$ for it which we were not aware of. Also I've never been in a restaurant where sides with a burger are sold and priced separately. This was an additional 3$ and I was a little frustrated with not having been told about these charges. The manager comped them. Aside from that, the food was good. the Pasta portion was good even though it doesn't taste the same, and the burger was pretty big. Jakes just opened, and I wanted to check it out. The place looks the same, but the menu is much larger. There was a miscommunication, and my order was not correct. Zack took care of it for me and made it right. He was extremely professional and personable. That's the way you treat customers during a grand opening!! We frequent the jakes in frisco. Came here tonight and waited for 30 minutes to put in our drink order...... there was only 1 other table with people at it in the whole restaurant. We ordered apps at the same time as our drinks and waited 40 mins for 2 apps. Meanwhile we had ordered our food and yes we had a party of 11 however as I said there was 1 other table occupied in the entire restaurant and it took 40 minutes after we ordered to receive our food. We stopped in for a quick burger just like we do at jakes on main and 1hr 45 mins, cold burgers, 3 wrong orders later we finally got tired of trying to get the correct food and are patiently waiting on our check. I just discovered this place while driving by. I needed a good location to host a Fantasy Draft party. I set a reservation and everything went according to plan. Bridget was our waitress and she was excellent! The food was great too. We enjoyed it so much, I called them back to book a 2nd Draft party! We came to Jakes to watch the Dallas Stars game 7 and didn't know of many bars that would accommodate our group while playing the sound. We talked with management and they were very helpful and put us in from of the big screen. Maddie was an amazing server and we never had an empty drink.
