I like the breakfast sandwich, multigrain bread (or sesame bagel) with ham. That and a good brewed coffee get me started for a full day of hiking and exploring. Service has usually been prompt for me but like any restaurant it can vary based on workload and staffing. Relax. Be nice to your server. read more

A veery long wait to order. They seemed very short staffed and stressed. One woman was making coffee and taking orders, which slowed the line. I waited about 40 minutes to order. The women in front of us also mentioned that they thought it'd be faster since their family was waiting for them to get on the road. They had to take their food to go instead. Once I ordered, I did get my food very quickly. Unfortunately, the serving size was small and not worth it. I also ordered a drink but it only tasted of milk, which was disappointing. I was so frustrated I went down the road to a different breakfast place to get additional items. I would not return here. read more

My friend and I were visiting Kanab for the Nightscaper Conference and had breakfast here every morning. The food and coffee were excellent and well prepared. We alternated paying, and on the third day the serviceperson asked which one of was paying - by name! It is rare to find such attention to customer service, especially when you consider that we were not locals. Alas, today will be our last breakfast here, but we'll be back! On our way from Coral Pink Sands State Park to Grand Canyon NP we went through Kanab, UT and found this quiet cafe with great breakfast sandwiches and a variety of morning time (or anytime) beverages. The sunflower seed bagel breakfast sandwich was fresh and made to order. We enjoyed the at home welcoming feel and decided to sit a while before heading on the road. Giving this place 3 stars because it's not like they went out of their way to be bad, they just didn't really try to be good. The entire 20 minutes (yes that was how long I waited for a single coffee being one of two people in the building) I was there, I didn't get one smile, thank you, or have a nice day. Nothing. I paid extra for an extra espresso in my drink. Tasted like if there was any, it would be one shot, and I had explicitly paid for 3. Too dang sweet. Terrible service. Long waits. Even the owner didn't bother smiling or anything. Why be in the service industry if you aren't eager to provide your service???? I'll never understand. read more

Before heading to hike, my friend and I decided to stop here for a breakfast sandwich. The tables were full and there was a line of about 2 people. We were greeted upon entering, and felt welcomed. All great signs that pointed to good food! It smelled like bacon and eggs, there were pastries visible, and the space was inviting. I had a BYO breakfast sando with eggs, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and mayo. It was delicious! It was warm and yummy, EXACTLY what I needed before hiking 10 miles. read more

We are visiting Kanab for a week and I've been here twice so far. I've had a breakfast burrito and Turkey sandwich. Both were excellent. Today my wife had the avocado toast on a homemade bagel and she loved it. The prices are very reasonable. The lattes are also excellent. Will probably be back one more time before we head back to California. read more

Cute coffee shop! My husband and I loved the coffee. He had an Americano and I had a latte. We're the kind of people that buy organic coffee beans and grind them daily before we brew it. It was a smooth and well balanced coffee, not overly burnt or bitter. We both had breakfast sandwiches to go since we were headed home. The sandwiches were flavorful and satisfying. I'd love to try the baked goods next time. It was after midday and pretty hot out. They were super nice and offered to refill my water bottle with ice water. We were driving through on our way to Arizona. Chose this coffee shop over others in the area due to the variety of food options and it seemed to be a true coffee shop. To start, the coffee tasted like there was water added to it. It was a tasteless caramel latte. I was confused why it didn't taste like coffee or caramel. For the food: uninspired. Most hole in the wall restaurants have a touch of not only flavor but something that sets them apart. Our food - the avocado toast & the BYO sandwich - was bland and lacking. Just wished it had something more going for it. Maybe the baked goods were the way to go? Those seemed to be the only things on their menu they were passionate about. If that was the case, then get rid of everything else on the menu or make everything on the menu worth ordering. read more

I ordered a 16 oz dirty chai latte. They charged me $7.85 for the one drink. Their menu does not have accurate pricing. Besides the drink being so expensive it also tasted like warm milk with a splash of chai and no espresso. I would NOT recommend this place both based on price and quality. read more

By the time we came out of the cafe, our clothes smelled like greasy breakfast. And our hot chocolate tasted like hot water with a splash of milk and a tea spoon of coco flavor. They're the only one that's open on Saturday that does not smell. Walked in to Nedra for brunch but we walked right out bec the place smelled like an old basement or rancid oil. We ordered southwest burrito. It's cooked after you order so I like that , being this place is a cafe. The burrito is just ok , nothing special. Stopped here with some of my friends from Eastern Europe and as we were discussing what we wanted to order (in their native language) the owner came up to us. She told us that there was a really good breakfast place down the street. Very weird to have the owner immediately suggest that we leave and go somewhere else. Not sure if she was truly trying to help us out or if she didn't like us in her cafe. Either way it didn't come off very well and we didn't feel very accepted. Regardless, we ordered our food and it came out pretty quick! The breakfast sandwiches were really good and pretty inexpensive but it literally took me 5 bites to eat it all.
