Tourist Trap - Way Overpriced for What You Get This place is the definition of a tourist trap. We stopped here for lunch, ordered just one pepperoni pizza, one Caesar salad, and drank water, and our bill came to $76. For the quality and quantity of food, it felt like a complete rip-off. The pizza was especially disappointing. It was served on what looked like a disposable paper pizza tray, and the crust tasted nothing like a traditional brick-oven pizza--it seemed undercooked and lacked the texture and flavor you'd expect for a $27 pizza. To make matters worse, everything was disposable: paper plates, plastic utensils, and a paper pizza tray. It felt incredibly wasteful and far from environmentally friendly. The final surprise was the automatic 20% gratuity added for our family of five. Mandatory tipping on top of already inflated prices only added to the feeling that this restaurant is designed to take advantage of tourists. I'm not sure who thinks $27 for a Caesar salad and $27 for a single pepperoni pizza is reasonable, but we certainly don't. This was such an amazing find! I've been on a pizza craze lately, and was really excited to try this spot out. Our group split the romaine fruit and pecan salad, margherita, and the milo milo. The salad was such a good start to the meal, and was very tasty with the dressing. The pizza came with 8 slices each, and we devoured it! We also got some ranches, which was a homestyle dill ranch. My favorite was the margherita, but honestly each of them were good in their own way. The service here is fantastic, and our server that day was so fun and friendly! The restaurant itself is small on the inside, but there's also a large outdoor patio. Our pizzas were freshly made, and took maybe 10-15 minutes. What a nice pizza restaurant that's actually open during the winter months! It was packed inside, so we sat outside next to some heaters, under a patio umbrella. Great view of the canyon walls from there. Service was okay - friendly, a little on the slower side (but they were busy, so that's fine). We tried the Milo Milo Pizza, Romaine, Fruit & Pecan Salad, and a Peach Cobbler. The salad was really overpriced ($25+ for that bowl?). It was good, and the strawberries were a nice touch. Noticed this place driving into the park. Stopped on the way back. Dining space was cramped and minimal. We were sat with two other couples in the same dining area. The first couple finished their meal as fast as they could and the other couple asked to move to a different table. That being said, we stayed in our small corner table. Service was pretty normal. The food tasted clean. Bianco pizza was a tad dry and needed waaaay more sauce. Not messy enough. Tomato soup was great but a bit acidic,, missing some sweetness in the recipe. We had had nothing but great interactions with people in Utah and our whole trip was lovely but coming here was by far one of the worst customer service experiences ever. The worst experience was due to BRANDON (after calling I found out he was the general manager) which was absolutely disgusting the way he behaved with us. He was the rudest person I've encountered especially to be the first person of contact when greeting you at the front. He needs to talked to for sure! On the other hand our server whose name is Seth was an absolute gem. Polite, kind and attentive even though there was long periods of waiting which is understandable for a busy Saturday afternoon. When Brandon was rude you could see the poor young man was embarrassed. Mr Brandon I hope you get it together and take some customer service classes and don't ruin peoples experience, given we came from a different state and us never recommending this place to anyone. Also please note a pizza is $30 and tiny, more like a personal size pizza. Which I didn't really care but if I'm going to pay that much at least have employees treat you with respect. We came around 6:10pm during a very busy Spring break week. The place was full so we decided to order pizza for takeout thinking it would be quicker. The gentleman in line in front of us quietly let us know he'd been waiting 45mins to his takeout order. Honestly, his comment made the 35-40min wait for our order bearable. Sometimes, it's about having that information in advance. The outdoor chairs were very comfortable so we waited outside. We ordered: one combo, one garlic flatbread, and a Cesar salad for two adults and one 10yr old kiddo. The pizza tasted fabulous, and the salad was pretty awesome as well. My husband commented that the dressing was slightly sweet, but I didn't mind in conjunction with the salty pizza. Both of us thought the garlic flatbread was overwhelming. We got on the waiting list and they saw us within 15 minutes. That's where the rest of the night went wrong. They had no alcohol on the menu but sold lemonade for $10 apiece. The food and refreshments were all very high priced. We ordered our pizza and then waited. We repeatedly asked the waitress if there was an issue with the kitchen as an hour went by without any food. As we looked around, every table was full, and that one person had food delivered to their table. By the time everything was said and done we ended up waiting two hours. We took the pizza to go when we opened the box. The pizza was completely soggy. The crust was very thin and uneven in the middle and the pizza was absolutely disgusting.
