Don't let the exterior of the buildings scare you off as they're open and making the most incredible south of the border deliciousness. My wife ordered Quesa Birrias Tacos and I the Carnitas dinner. The portions were more than enough to feed two and the most delicious Mexican dishes I've had in years. I highly recommend you give it a try

    Two steak tacos and rice

Cute little restaurant, very clean, and good atmosphere. The staff is super friendly as well. ordered two steak tacos and rice and took about 5-7 minutes to get my order together. Rice lacked a little flavor but the tacos were phenomenal. I give it 4/5 because I think the rice was also a little old but they give you so much of it! And for such little price. I only spent $10 on my order and I definitely will be coming here again.

THANK YOU GRETCHEN AND ABRAHAM. This was SO good!!!! fried ice cream, flan, fried tortilla strips with cinnamon and sugar YUM!!

Our go to place for excellent fish tacos on the way through Louisville. If we weren't 200 miles away we'd be regular customers.

The food was very tasty and quality of the food was very good. This was an old sport bar so the set up is still the same. There is a bar to sit at tvs to watch and booth and table seating. The price was a little higher but for quality ingredients it's worth it. Parking can be a challenge here if the liquor store next door is busy.

While I had never been to a Mexican seafood restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the combination was a welcome one to my palette. A large amount of delicious options will keep you busy until you settle on what sounds perfect - which, for me, was the quesa birria tacos. This is an option that rarely lets me down, but in this case, I was thoroughly satisfied. They were perfect, absolutely delicious and hearty. And did I mention, AFFORDABLE? Because yes! Very affordable options for anybody, even with certain items being at cost. My friends tried some other items, including the El Corita Especial, which was presented great and tasted even better. I noticed that each meal looked just as good as it tasted, with a heavy focus on presentation and execution. Another friend got some basic chicken wings and said they were just to his liking. This is a restaurant I'll happily return to!

Hi. Well after a long wait to finally get a replacement for Paula Deen's buffet Ceasars finally…read moreopens The Spread and a spread it is... at least a 40 plus variety of foods to load up on....anything from Asian pot stickers to pizza to chicken, and even a large assortment of seafood dishes if you visit on a friday night which is what I did recently. Let me start off by stating that if you were a fan of Paula's shorts ribs ,corn ,mashed potatoes ,dressing and brown gravy then you need not worry as those items are the same as before if not better. But, if you were a seafood fan then I feel you'll be disappointed as I was on this visit. Btw, they only serve seafood on friday nights. First of all, the crab was all served at one central station and you did not serve yourself as before...they serve you and depending on when you. The crab is served out of big plastic containers and depending on where your crab is (at the top was the best) determines how watered down they were.....after getting a mediocre plateful from the middle (somewhat soggy, mushy even) I quickly ditched those and went for other items and was pleasantly surprised by the breaded shrimp, oysters, and calamari as they all were nicely cooked - not overly breaded and not cooked to death. Unfortunately, the plain shrimp were watered down and were a big disappointment as was the fact that they no longer offered steamed oysters as this was a hit at the former Deens buffet. I tried nearly all of the main items including brisket (so-so),prime beef(had a nicely done cut) pot stickers (ok but overcooked a bit) mussels (really nicely cooked in a Italian based tomatoe sauce) chicken (was ok...not great) and came away feeling as if I was in a tug of war between rating this place a 3 star or 4 star but what tipped it for me was dessert. Although plentiful and varied as the desserts were I always went for the bread pudding when it was Paulas....well the bread pudding was the biggest disappointment of the night and i swear they eveidently just neglected it it seems. It was waaaay overcooked to the point of you having to really dig in with your spoon to get it out and it resembled more of a hardened meatloaf in texture and the bourbon sauce was as thick as cold ketchup. One bite and i was on to something else. Luckily, the cookies and ice cream did the trick and satisfied my sweet cravings for the evening and off i went to gamble.

I ordered a first mate combo which is a one piece fish sandwich on rye, hush puppy, fries and a drink. I get to the window. The girl says that the soda machine is broken and they are not serving anything except tea and water (the combo comes with a drink). So even tho I have a tea in the car I order a tea. It comes out warm with no ice. Whatever I have a tea, it has ice, I'll deal. Long wait for meal. Girl hands me a stapled bag with my meal inside. I ask for tarter and ketchup. It's in the bag, she says. Both? I say? Yes, she assures me. I drive a short distance still in the parking lot to open and prepare my sandwich for the road. I'm starving, no lunch. I grab a fry. Cold. Ice cold and hard. Dang. Then, lo and behold, no ketchup no tarter. I spin around to get back in drive thru but now there's 4 cars. I get out of the car and try to open door, it's locked. I signal for who I assume is the manager. He opens the door slightly. I tell him my issues(s). He nods with out comment and goes back inside. I'm waiting at the door (it's cold blustery and spitting rain). Probably 10 minutes. I go back to my car which has a birds eye view of the food shelf. There sit my fries. And sit and sit. I watch the girl preparing other meals for drive thru as the fries sit. The manager points to the fries, she nods, goes back to what she was doing. For another 2 minutes. I bang on the plate glass window for her attention. She turns, waves me off, and finally goes and slowly packs the fries and condiments in a bag. Hands them thru door as her boyfriend arrives delivering chik fila. No "sorry" to me, just passes the fries and grabs her dinner. Meanwhile what has happened to the fish and hush puppy? It's been sitting in the car. It's now cold. And no napkins for a fish sandwich. Just couldn't believe the insults that kept getting added to the injury. Summary, I love Moby Dick fish sandwiches. But I won't go to this one again. Dixie highway store.
