Bumping little place...well it is the 4th of July and all other places besides fast food are closed. We waited a little for a table, not a bad wait. We were seated and served chips with salsa and beans. I order some guacamole dip to start. I wanted some street tacos, but there was no meal for them and I asked if I could upgrade the taco meal and was abruptly told NO. I asked if there was any meal set-up or way to add the beans and rice to that tacos and make a meal she just shrugged. Well ok then I give up trying to hold a conversation. I ordered 2 street tacos and the hubs ordered a taco salad. As I was sitting here waiting on my guacamole dip a fluffy white poof floated in and landed in my drink cup. I have no idea what they are but it almost looks like it is snowing outside? Our waitress never came back so I had to drink my Hubs drink. Our food came and I told the waitress I never got my guacamole which she responded with an attitude and asked if I still wanted it. Well yes I ordered it. I asked for limes with my street tacos...never got them. The Hubs ordered the upgrade of sour cream and guacamole for his salad...did not come out with it. Drinks never refilled (or exchanged for fresh after the fluff fell in)!! Biggest pet peeve ever...not checking on your table. All tables around us we saw them checking on the locals and chatting away. Overall VERY DISAPPOINTING!! They brought the check and we had to tell them to take off what they did not bring us. When they brought the paid for ticket an apology for being busy and items missing was too little too late!!!! read more

Pros: Tasty Mexican entrees always served piping hot. The molcajete requires special mention. Strips of chicken and steak in equal portions (shrimp added in the triple molcajete) served in a spicy sauce with onions, green peppers and mushrooms. Served with flour or corn tortillas for u to put together yourself. Neutral: Inside a "storefront" style building. Comfortable table seating (minimalist otherwise) inside. Cons: The standard sides (beans and rice) that come with all dishes are filling but some people may find them bland. Summary: Great for either eat in or take out (and many repeat visits either way). If u do take out, chips and salsa (optional) will cost an additional $2.99. read more

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I had a soup with shrimp and avocado in it and I was starving so of course I ate it even though it was the worst soup I've ever had. I got home from our long drive then I could not sleep because I felt so sick. I ended up throwing up for hours and hours that night and the only other things I ate that day were packaged foods so I'm certain I got food poisoning from that terrible soup. So I decided to go out to dinner with a friend. She suggested this restaurant and I also had heard how good it was. I was very excited and as all my friends know, I don't go out very often so I was happy. Went here ordered street tacos, which I love and must say I make a pretty good one. Even tho I am not Mexican, so I am sure they don't compare. Well, needless to say, they were sooo soggy. I couldn't even pick them up to take a bite. They just fell out of the tortilla, which was now even soggier then the runny mushy beef. I even had a Margherita that obviously was bought in bulk at a packaged liquor store. It was so sweet with no tequila in the mix at all. I took one drink of the glass of sweet juice. I didn't touch the Tacos cuz I couldn't even get them to my mouth. The waiter just shrugged his shoulders and ACTED like he didn't understand me. When I told him He didn't even say sorry, he didn't offer me something else they didn't give me a discount. It was disappointing. I will never go there again and I will repeat this story to anyone. And it's funny probably 95% of the customers were white. Maybe you all don't know what real Mexican food tastes like. And maybe I don't either. But I do know what I have had in my long life has been way better than this place. Me and some friends decide to go to Wyoming and stopped at this restaurant for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff running it was welcoming and the place had a lot of families and local workers there..,so it has local cred. What I ordered was nothing like it said on the menu. I ordered Arroz Con Pollo with sauce, rice, mushrooms and spring onions. If there was rice I'd be surprised and it was canned mushrooms and broccoli and cauliflower! We were looking for a good Mexican restaurant and found this one on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Absolutely great food, waitress was extremely helpful, and the meal prep quicker than expected. The physical surroundings are not the greatest in comparison to most restaurants. But it was clean and neat. The dining area is rather small so I wouldn't take a crowd with you, tables would comfortably seat four or five. We've travelled a lot around the country and in eastern and Western Europe. We have found that if you are looking for good authentic ethnic dining, look for the smaller, local owned and operated places like this one. As we pulled up I was reticent to go in because it was a small hole in the wall sort of place, but the quick friendly service and fajita quesadilla I had was amazingly flavorful! Was in town a while ago and after a full day of shopping, exploring and whatnot I asked a local for some of their favorite places to eat. They gave me two places. One was a this place (a Mexican restaurant) and one was not a Mexican restaurant.... obviously we picked this one. Haha. And glad we did. They did not disappoint. We got take out though so i don't have much to say about the inside. But the food is what matters anyway, right? And the food was good! It was still warm even after driving back to our hotel. We ordered a fajita burrito and a shredded beef chimichanga. It was our first time here, since we just moved here. Having lived in SoCal for a few years, I was not getting my hopes up. However, when we walked in, it smelled delicious. The had ground beef as an option...which is not typical, but they didn't have shredded beef and carne asada. We also asked for no dairy on the fajita burrito, and had to clarify a couple times to make sure it was clear. The woman was very nice and helpful. We got our food to go and checked it before we left to. Make sure it was accurate. It was so we headed home to eat. The sauce on the fajita burrito was okay. I wouldn't get it again. The burrito itself was really tasty and big. The hot sauce was spicy, but not the flavor I was looking for. I wouldn't get it again. We ordered some of the salsa that they serve when you dine in, it was good, not great. I would order it again instead of the hot sauce. The shredded beef chimichanga was one of the smallest ones I have ever had. I was able to eat it all easily (which never happens for me). It came with sour cream, guacamole and little cheese on top. I put a bunch of salsa on it and enjoyed it. I will definitely order it again. The prices were much higher than the taco shops in SoCal, but at least we have a good close option available. For two items plus salsa it cost over $25. So while I can't say I will eat here all the time, I definitely will be back from time to time. Took one star off due to value of food/cost. read more

Wife ordered Shrimp Mexicana - bacon wrapped grilled shrimp drizzeled with a cheese sauce served over vegetables sizzleing plater style with flour tortillas, rice and beans, shredded lettuce, guacamole side plate. The usual chips and salsa - chips probably store bought but salsa was outstanding. Flour tortillas served warm, probably home made. Ever item was excellent.
