Came to Jalsa on a Saturday later afternoon. While we were the only ones there at first, it started to fill up as we were leaving. Its very nice inside, well kept, nice temperature, comfy chairs and giant booths. We ordered the Gobi 65, Malai Kofta, Chicken Chilli Garlic Noodle and Truffle Cheese naan. The Gobi 65 and Paneer 65 are actually switched on the menu accidentally so just be careful of that. The Gobi 65 was the best I've ever had, hands down. It was super crispy and and with most restaurants the cauliflower is too wet and becomes soggy. But not here. Super aromatic, flavorful, not too spicy. The Malai Kofta was smooth, creamy, the dumplings were huge, and comes with beautifully cooked rice. Very very tasty. I got the chicken chili garlic noodles because I've never seen anything like it at an Indian restaurant before, it's Indo Chinese inspired. The chicken chunks were the perfect size and a bit crispy on the outside. Although I got medium spice, the heat did overpower this dish a little bit. I think if they paired it with a creamy yogurt sauce it would tone down the heat and bring out the flavors a bit more. But it was still very good and I would absolutely get it again. The naan was a let down. There was no truffle in sight. Couldnt smell it or taste it. It was simply cheese naan which is fine, but not what we ordered for $8. The service while very kind and friendly was lacking. We were never checked up on after our food was brought out. We wanted to order more naan and something else to drink but never got the opportunity. The food was delicious, the ambiance great, but let's talk about the elephant in the room. If you look at their social media and advertising, all their food photos are AI. And not even subtle AI, its so obvious and in your face. The crazy part is, is that their food looks amazing and is presented beautifully. They dont need, and shouldn't be using AI to advertise their food. Bite the bullet, hire a local photographer and take beautiful dishes of the food that you create. Using AI not only means you're lazy and not willing to photograph your food, but it means you're lying to your customers. AI is blatant false advertising. I think people would moreso appreciate photos from a camera phone than AI so they actually know what they are getting. With all the food and two sodas, our total was about $65. I deducted a star for the service and AI usage. I would love to come back to Jalsa and try other items, and now I know how they operate, I can better adjust my expectations. I dont know if they'll ever see this, but I do hope they consider taking down the AI photos and putting up their own. read more

Jalsa is an absolute gem in Coral Springs. From the moment we walked in, the staff were very friendly and incredibly welcoming. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating a modern, yet inviting atmosphere that makes you want to sit back and enjoy the experience. We started with the pani puri and Amritsari fry fish, both were fresh flavorful and delicious. We also had a mango lassi, and mango mojito, which were great. For the main, we had the Jalsa biryani and the lamb Rogan Josh, which was tender and packed with rich authentic flavors, the Jalsa biryani was topped with stunning edible gold sheets. Not only was it presented in a beautiful biryani engraved pot, but every bite was bursting with flavors, and so mouth watering. Everything we ordered was fresh, well seasoned, and obviously, made with love. Jalsa exceeded our expectations and I already can't wait to go back. This one is highly recommended if you're looking for clean, and excellent Indian cuisine. read more

The space is modern, perfect for a date or special occasion but the food is really what makes this place standout from the competition. Jalsa Indian Modern Kitchen is where tradition meets innovation. Bold spices, refined flavors, and a modern twist on Indian classics. I highly recommend starting with the Pani Puri shots and Tandoori. If you like spicy, then get the Lamb Rogan Josh and Briyani or any of their "real" curries. Absolutely loved Jalsa. We went on a Saturday, it was empty around 5 pm but shortly after it filled up with patrons that new they were going to eat good food. We ordered the following: PANI PURI SHOTS $11.99 Crispy puris served with spiced potato filling and tangy mint water shots. Good but completely different to have the mint water shots. CHICKEN 65 $14.99 Crispy fried chicken infused with bold South Indian spices and curry leaves. This was amazingggg! I can eat as an entrée and be happy. LAMB CHOPS $33.99 Tender lamb chops grilled with Indian spices. These were also great. I would order this all the time if I lived closer. CHICKEN CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA $19.99 Grilled chicken finished in a rich, balanced tomato-based sauce. Yummy! DUBAI CHOCOLATE GULAB JAMUN $14.99 Milk chocolate-drenched gulab jamuns nestled on golden kunafe, crowned with pistachios, rose petals and edible gold -- a signature Jalsa indulgence. Jalsa Indian Modern Kitchen is not what I expected. Not even close. This is a full reset of the old Honest space. If you remember Honest, it was bright, loud, fast-casual, self-service, street food focused. In and out. Paper plates. Vegetarian. Jalsa is the opposite: full service, non-vegetarian, darker room, bar, plated dishes, and a menu that's clearly trying to play at a higher level. This is Fort Lauderdale / Las Olas energy dropped into Coral Springs. And the food backs that up. The manchow soup (an Indian Chinese vegetable soup) was excellent. Properly spicy, actually clears your sinuses, served in a wide white bowl with crispy noodles and a gold spoon. That's a plated dish, not a bowl of soup. Shrimp 65 leaned slightly modern (a bit sauced, tangy, garlic-forward, battered, also Indian-Chinese-style) but worked. Served on a hammered gold plate over a slaw bed. Everything here gets a presentation pass. Mysore masala dosa was very strong. Technically sound and comparable to Harmony, just presented in a more styled way. Even the chai comes on a slate saucer with dried rose petals. That tells you everything about what this place is trying to be. That comparison matters. Because I said the same thing about Harmony when it opened just a week or so ago. It was ambitious too. But Harmony feels grounded in what Coral Springs actually wants: regional, focused, clear identity (Kerala / South Indian), and a menu that knows what it is. Jalsa is different. Jalsa is broader. Flashier. More designed. Gold flatware on black tables. Tufted booths. A Ganesha mounted on a living wall. And for the first time, Coral Springs now has two higher-end Indian restaurants operating simultaneously. In a strong economy, this works all day. The population is here to support it. But here's the hesitation. Jalsa might be a little too ambitious for Coral Springs, especially in that plaza. The menu is extensive, and the 24K gold section (yes, actual gold-leaf dishes) feels like it was built for a different market. It's eye-catching, but I'm not convinced it's what keeps people coming back. This probably needs some dialing in: tighten the menu, lean into strengths, and pull back a bit on the flash. Because the foundation is there. The room looks good. The food I had was strong. The question isn't whether Jalsa is good. The question is whether Coral Springs will meet it where it is, or force it to adjust. Either way, between Jalsa and Harmony, this is the most interesting the Indian dining scene in Broward has been in years. read more

Had a really fantastic meal for dinner earlier tonight. Indian food is one of my favorite cuisines, and this dinner was one of the best that I can remember. Tables are large and spacious and it's a nice atmosphere even when it gets busy. Our waiter was very kind and answered all of our questions. We ended up ordering the "green" chicken tikka appetizer which the video shows where it arrives at your table similar to ordering fajitas somewhere. In addition to that, three of us split Lamb Rogan Josh (which may have been the best I ever had), a really delightful Dosa that comes out served on a large metal tray, a double lentil dish, and some chicken tikka naan, which was a delight to eat. We will definitely be back, and we asked for everything mild and it had the perfect spice level. Cannot recommend this place enough! read more

I really really enjoyed dining here for lunch today. It was way better than I expected. Best Indian I've had in a while. I had the lamb korma, garlic naan, and a mango lassie for dessert. We were there Saturday night for a new restaurant just opened. I felt there is no bars in the restaurant only one table with 10 people while we were sitting a couple more people came. I don't know how long this restaurant will last but the dosa was good. Will go back to try the other ones when we went there. There was no wine or beer. I don't know why restaurants open without actually having everything. read more

We had a delightful second dinner at Jalsa last night (Thursday). The restaurant is beautifully decorated with walls full of plants and television fireplaces and soothing music. The waiter was very polite and accommodating. We loved the food the first time we had dinner and decided that each time we would come we would try a different dish( the menu is extensive with so many hot and cold appetizers, soups, vegetarian, chicken and lamb dishes, south Indian dishes including dosas ( huge pancakes filled with all sorts of fillings, as well as the unique "Indo-Chinese " cuisine. We started with mango and sweet lassi's( delicious yogurt based drinks) followed by a Gobi 65 appetizer( small cheese based cubes coated in a yogurt and spice mix and lightly fried), then buttered naan(milk based flat bread cooked in a tandoor-clay oven-covered with Ghee-clarified butter) which we used to sop up the mouth watering sauce which covered the chicken korma dish( chicken cooked in a creamy, mildly spicy cashew nut sauce). Then we had tandoori chicken( chicken on the bone, marinated in a yogurt spice mixture and cooked in the tandoor) accompanied by aromatic basmati rice. For dessert we had gulab jamun, warm, fried wheat balls covered in an aromatic syrup. The food was fabulous and is a lot better than any of the new Indian restaurants in town. read more
