We had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant today!…read more The hospitality was top-notch from the moment we arrived. Our server, Gina V., was delightful, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal. The owner, Joe, also stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect, which truly showed how much they care about their guests. The last time I dined here, I ordered the 4-pound stuffed lobster, and it was so memorable that I couldn't resist ordering it again. It was just as delicious as I remembered--loaded with shrimp and scallops, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. I chose the New England clam chowder as my side, which was excellent as well. The portions were incredibly generous, and I ended up taking most of my meal home to enjoy later. My husband ordered the stuffed shrimp and flounder combination and loved it. He said the fish was very fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Once again, we left thoroughly satisfied.

The parking lot is valet, which sounds nice... until you realize the reason it has to be valet is because the lot is nearly impossible to navigate, let alone park in. Just pulling into the lot was a struggle, due to it being located on a main/busy road. And if you want to sit outside, just know that the "outdoor seating" is essentially tables and chairs set up in the parking lot, with flies constantly flying around the area. Beautiful views of cars and the back of the kitchen! Perfect for the seafood ambience Interested to see on the top of the menu "News 12 picked for number 1 seafood on Long Island" because I would NOT recommend this seafood as a representation of Long Island seafood Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. There are MANY other great seafood restaurants on Long Island that are much more worth your time and money.

We started with some oysters, which were the freshest oysters I've ever had. The oyster menu had a good variety of sizes and salinities. The Manhattan clam chowder was SO GOOD. I normally don't approve of soup in the summer but this is a must try no matter what season it is. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share so we could try a little bit of everything. Sicilian calamari was cooked to perfection and perfectly tender. Loved that it was sautéed because it's a little lighter than fried, but I definitely want to try the fried calamari next time we come here. Seared ahi tuna was also some of the best I've ever had. I don't even like swordfish but the blackened swordfish special completely changed my mind. They have different specials every day and I don't think you can really go wrong with anything on the menu. The atmosphere is very laid back, and everyone was so friendly. It's family owned and operated, and you can tell they really care. There were lots of regulars, which says a lot. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for food this good. We'll definitely be coming back. Hands down the best oyster bar in Long Island.

You don't have to chose the $60 AYCE option, but I do think you get great value if you do AYCE compared to the packages that aren't. You get a dry erase marker and make your selections on the menu. I was impressed by the wide variety of options from soups like clam chowder to lobster rolls to vegetables to salads to the seafood options. I ended up trying scallops, corn, Dungeness crab, king crab legs, broccoli. I also tried both the house blend and the garlic butter sauces. To be honest, the butter was overpowering in both sauces so next time I would just try the original Cajun sauce. The portion of food you get and the quality is great! Decent amount of lobster in the lobster roll, and good amount of meat in the shellfish. I also love that they had the Knicks vs Cavs game playing. It's also cute that they change the song to a happy birthday song when they're celebrating someone's birthday. It's definitely a more casual ambiance but fun for celebrating birthdays. I also appreciate that they supply plenty of gloves, crackers, as well as bibs. It'll def be a messy eating experience! The only piece of feedback I'd say is we didn't get any refills on our waters during our meal, nor did we get a beverage we ordered, but otherwise our server was very friendly.

We usually order the AYCE special which is around $60 on the weekends and with that, you get $3 drinks (pretty much anything). You can order anything from snow crab and crawfish, to mussels, scallops, shrimp etc., and pick your sauce and add ins. This place does get crowded on the weekend so reservations are definitely advised. They do a great job of getting around to every table to keep the food and drinks flowing. You will not leave hungry!
