Lunch specials can fill you up without breaking the bank. Griot, or fried pig chunks, is their most well-known and traditional food. It's flavorful and a little oily, but you can add some pikliz, our Haitian chili sauce, and it will absorb it all, especially when served with rice, salad, and fried bananas or tostones. One nice thing was they prepared small plates of fries and ketchup for our youngest boys who weren't interested in the Caribbean fare offered. Food took a little time to come out, but everything arrived fresh and hot. The burger was juicy without being messy, and the habanero chicken had good flavor beyond just spice. What stood out most was how relaxed the atmosphere felt even during the dinner rush. Staff stayed attentive and kept checking on tables without hovering too much.
