Was bummed that patties take 20 minutes to make, but I appreciate it being as fresh as possible. Jerk chicken was juicy, yet I asked for dark meat and got 1 piece of chicken with jerk sauced skin. The rest were breasts with no seasoning. Rice tasted watery and loose , it didn't marry with the peas and sauce. Cabbage had peppers with no complaints. Bammy was freshly fried and available at night, I was pleasantly surprised. Lemonade was very sugary. All in all, it was good but pricey. I'll try other dishes.

Inside. We were the only ones in the place from start to finish. Took way too long to get a drink.

We really weren't impressed with this place. Expected way more. Appetizer wings were cold. Just not sure what to post. Nothing stood out. We were disappointed.

Very nice experience! We were looking for different cuisine in the area and the Jamaica House Grill did not disappoint. Started with Cod fritters, came with avocado dipping sauce so delicious. For entrees we had curried Shrimp, jerk chicken and steak with peppers. All excellent! Service was so attentive. The rum punch was fantastic. Everything made to order, so relax and enjoy!

So I tried this restaurant for the 2nd time. I'm just not the biggest fan. Place is nice , clean. They do not seem to get that busy inside but seem like they get Togo orders. They are very accommodating we came with 10 people and service was good. Now on to the food. Food is just ok and when I say ok. I think that's even a stretch. I ordered reggae pasta with chicken. I was expecting more of an Alfredo sauce but this was more of a cheesy sauce. If was ok. The chicken tasted kind of old . Like idk where it was cooked . It was not very spicy but it had a taste. I hate to say it but nobody really liked their food out of the 10 people that dined with our group. One said the mashed potatoes had not salt . One said the curry goat was too salty. One said the oxtails weren't that great. Drinks were pretty good though. Prices are a bit high.

Oxtail was ok I wasn't thrilled about it but I would probably try this place again ordering a different dish

Jamaican Dinner for us tonight. This restaurant is in close proximity to the mall, Wellington Green, so if you are in the area and want to try some jerk or other dish, this is the place for you! Tonight I had the Ital Bean dish which was a pleasantly spicy with large (Lima Bean) sized, mixed with Coconut milk and other veggies. Paired with TING, a carbonated grapefruit beverage, this was a delicious flavorful meal. Our server was pleasant and patient in explaining any of the dishes they offered.

I gave this restaurant 4 stars because of the food ... it was that good. The only negative (for which I almost took off a star) was that our server did not wear his mask all of the time. The above being said, Blake was very accommodating -- offering to answer any questions and checking up on us. The restaurant was not busy. I think they did a couple takeouts while we were there. It's located in the outer rim of the mall next to a busy Mexican restaurant. You'll see the large flag on the outside. Unlike many Island restaurants here, this is not a go to the counter and order from the prepared dishes in a cafeteria style buffet. This is a real sit down restaurant rather than a mainly takeout place -- no styrofoam boxes or plastic ware in sight. I ordered their curried shrimp. The curry was quite flavorful -- it had a little kick but not overpowering. There were 8 large shrimp along with different sweet peppers, carrots, etc. in the sauce. Along side was a mound of white rice and some mixed cabbage and veggies. I'd order this again. My husband had seen a food show earlier about bean stew so that was in his mind. He ordered their ital bean stew from the vegetarian section of the menu. The butter beans (called "ital") were mixed with veggies and all were in a coconut based sauce. It was also served with white rice. He really liked it. Both entree plates were prettily presented with a flower decorating each plate. You can tell there's some artistry here -- especially in the kitchen. Kudos to the chef!

The food taste and presentation was absolutely spectacular. (Garnished with a beautiful flower). I had the oxtail with fresh vegetables and rice and peas. The oxtail literally fell of the bone. I had a genuine Jamaican cola champagne soft drink as my beverage. Water was served with as hint of lemon. I was there during lunch hour, the service was excellent. The ambience with the music relaxes you and the portraits on the wall represent individuals from Jamaica. The tables are dressed with white linens and drinking glasses with cloth wrapped silverware. And I can not forget Shanna my sever. She was excellent and has a beautiful smile that warms up the atmosphere even more. All in all I'll give it a five out of five stars definitely a place for a romantic dinner with your Island girl or wife.

    Jamaican me crazy!

He comes there all the time. This was a good sign. You order and pay at the back food counter. You may have to wait in line as they are popular. The menu is posted on the wall. We both ordered the brown stew chicken lunch special. It comes with rice n peas and veggies. And a can of soda of your choice. The thick rich gravy was wonderful -- slightly sweet -- over the cut up, tender (but on the bone) chicken pieces and the rice. The "peas" here in the rice are small red beans. We got a bit of extra gravy on the rice. The veggies are sauteed cabbage with a few carrot pieces. We had no leftovers. The portion was just perfect. And lunch for two was under $20. We can't wait to return. I'm hoping to try the curry next time.

My work colleagues and I were greeted by a friendly host and sat at a table. But everything from service went down hill from there when our actual table server arrived. We were immediately greeted with "You ready", with a frowned face. We asked for water with lemon (never received) and was later served water from a pitcher (without lemons) only later to see an adjacent table served water from a picture with lemon and orange slices. Didn't make much of that. But when our waiter returned to take our order the second time, again with the same "you ready" frown faced I asked for help with the menu. I could hear her sigh so loud I wanted not to believe the feeling that we were bothering her in some way; and there was maybe only a quarter of the tables with customers. After placing our orders I asked my colleagues if they were getting the same vibe as I was from her and they both felt the same way. From my seating angle I could see this young lady server when she approached the front bar/seating area of the restaurant; which appeared to be where the other waiters all gathered when waiting. But I noticed her smiling and engaging in friendly conversation with two customers sitting at the bar. I noticed this difference from how she treated us vs these other guest throughout the entire time. With them she was smiling, engaging and not in any flirtatious way, but seemingly just being nice....being a good waiter. Clearly she was choosing NOT to be nice to us, and this bothered me internally because I did not know why. Our friendly greeter from when we arrived was seen serving another table and whose behavior was consistently friendly with everyone. So why the difference with our waiter I kept asking myself. I still gave a generous tip despite this service. It was important to me to do so, but I probably won't be back here, and this would have been a nice place to go back to with mi amor.

This restaurant came up as close by on our yelp app. It's not far from the turnpike on the south side of Lake Worth Road. We used to come to this busy shopping center/strip of stores years ago. There was a Thai/French restaurant my mom liked. It's no longer, but the small movie theater and a number of other new to us restaurants are here now (that we plan to try sometime). There was ample free parking out front. The door was open to the restaurant and we noticed the air wasn't working. We decided to stay anyway and sat under one of the ceiling fans. Later, they also turned on a floor fan so it was comfortable. There is a high top counter, a high top table, and a few regular tables. It is well lighted inside. They don't have a printed menu (it's online btw), but it is featured on a video on a tv screen in the corner by the food counter. There was also a sign with their lunch specials on the window. We decided to choose one of their specials. They cost $5.99 and come with rice, a bit of salad, plantains (which is a fried tostado), and your choice of meat. I chose griot -- fried pork and my husband chose their stewed turkey. The other two choices were stewed chicken or fried chicken. A canned soda also comes with it. Meals are cooked and/or are finished to order, so this is not a fast food restaurant. So plan accordingly. The food portion is large and a bargain for the price. I wound up taking half my rice (which has red beans in it) home for a later meal. My grilled pork pieces were tender and flavorful. I didn't use much of the spicy cabbage on the side. I gave it to my husband who loves spicy food. We added their ranch salad dressing to the salad -- and it was a good palate cooler. My husband's stewed turkey came in a bowl with a nice amount of slightly spicy sauce. The meat was tender and tasty as well. He had the same rice and salad as I had on my plate. We got to meet the owner/chef who came out from the kitchen to greet us and thank us for dining with them. It was a nice appreciated gesture. We'd definitely come back -- I still need to try a couple more of their lunch specials plus explore other items on their menu.
