I actually really like plain rice, but this rice tasted like nothing, and the mac salad was literally the blandest mac salad I've ever had in my life. The reason I gave it three stars despite all this is that the pork itself was just marvelous. It was moist and flavorful with the perfect amount of char. The rice and mac salad come with it, but if I ever go again, I'll just tell them to keep those and just give me the pork.

The adobo and Pancit each came with two scoops of rice each. The adobo is so flavorful and the meat is so tender and delicious. Our Filipino stepfather used to make pork adobo from scratch and wasn't willing to share his family recipe. One bite of Mum's pork adobo, and suddenly your eyes are closing, and you are making mmmm mmmmm mmmm sounds. The sauce is thick savory and comforting. The seasonings used in the pancit was absolutely perfect! We loved the ratio of vegetables and chicken. Lumpia is always a great choice with or without the accompanying sauce. Personally, we like dipping our lumpia in the adobo sauce. The orders were complete. Servings were large. We are looking forward to returning often. One of our other favorite items that we order from Mum's is beef calderetta, another solid comforting choice. Their fish and chips is also yummy and filling.
