Although this is the closest Jamba Juice to me, I will NEVER go back to "this dive!" The first picture with itty bitty pieces of fruit chunks swimming in the watered down smoothie was taken today and the one on the right with the nice chunks of fruit was just purchased on Wednesday. Can you see the huge difference??? Same store in the Waimalu Shopping Center next to City Mill. Not just the fruit, but the Strawberry Banana smoothie is so watered down, it's just like drinking "pink water!" Worst Jamba Juice location ever! It was a Sunday morning. I ordered thru the mobile app and when I got there, the store was closed. No employees whatsoever, and it was 830 am. I checked the store hours and it opens 8 am on Sundays. I waited another 10 minutes but no one ever showed up. I called the store awhile later but the answering machine said it was not yet set up, so I couldn't even leave a message. Tried calling several more times and no one picked up. I went in on a Monday at 3pm. There was one other customer that left just before I walked in. I already knew what I wanted to order, so I went straight to the register to do that. There were 3 employees standing right by the register having a conversation. They continued their conversation as I walked in and up to the register. They still continued their conversation as I stood there waiting for anyone of them to acknowledge there was a customer standing there wanting to order. I'm not a fan of Jamba, but my husband insisted he needed a smoothie, and this was the closest option. Wanted something refreshing so I decided to check out Jamba Juice . I seen on a commercial they have new drinks out boba. So I got their Lava flow boba and it was pretty good. Flavors of coconut and pineapple juice blended w/Strawberry boba. I'm not really a fan of boba so I told the worker if he can add half of the serving if boba. Received a $3 discount promo via my Jamba Juice app, so I figured I would take the opportunity to bypass my normal cup of coffee in lieu of a smoothy. I wish there was a Jamba Juice in the Pearl City area, but I have been coming here for drinks when I'm in the area. I visited this particular store after a quick hike in the morning. I was craving something to snack on after my hike. I ended up ordering the Primo Acai Bowl without blueberries. You can also substitute other items as well so I asked for more bananas instead. I believe the Acai bowls are premade as I didn't wait too long for it to be ready. The taste of the acai bowl is to my liking. I really like that they put a bunch of the granola and coconut shred, it gives a lot of texture to the bowl. I wish they had different sizes for the acai bowl, but it was great tasting. They are practicing social distancing and you need to wear your mask when you're there. The staff was friendly and helpful and made my drink fast within 2 minutes. The other day my wife picked up a large Gotta Guava for me from Jamba Waimalu. I looked at it and it didn't seem to be the right color. Sure enough it didn't taste great either. It had a faint fruit flavor with 50% sweetness of any Jamba smoothie I have had in the past. I asked her if it was a "healthier" smoothie, but she said no. I hate to make a negative review especially when there is much more to worry about these days. However, In my opinion a 2 star review is very generous. My fiance and I, placed a fairly large order through the Jamba Juice app (4 drinks and 1 primo acai bowl). When we walked in there were a few people in the lobby area, the team seemed disorganized but our order came out quickly (which is why they are receiving 2 stars). When we got back to the car I noticed that the primo acai bowl was missing bananas but had all the other toppings (see picture) & chia seeds substituted for coconut, as requested. I've had the primo acai bowl a few times and clearly remember there were bananas (unless something changed). My fiance returned to the store and asked if the acai bowl was supposed to come with bananas (obviously, as a topping). They told him that the bananas were in the base. He left, why argue with the employees right? When we got home my fiance called another Jamba Juice location to ask which toppings come standard on the primo bowl, they confirmed that bananas do. The Jamba Juice Hawaii website also lists bananas as one of the toppings (see picture). My fiance tried calling Jamba Juice Waimalu and of course they did not answer. Jamba Juice is a treat; when you're paying $8.00 for an acai bowl you expect it to come with everything its supposed to. It's one thing to have forgotten and to correct the mistake. Or even to be out of the ingredient, just let your customers know. After reading all the other reviews about this Jamba Juice location, I think the way it's employees treat their customers and their hard earned money is a joke. This Jamba Juice location could benefit from additional training in both product knowledge and customer service. read more

What sets each store apart is customer service. I recently went to this Waimalu location, and upon stepping in to the store, I was met with silence. I was the only one in the store and there were 2 workers. I had to greet them, which is fine, but it felt more like I was bothering them. My order was finished, placed on the counter, and that's it. Came here yesterday morning. First Jamba Juice ever where the employees looked like they hated there job...didn't wanna be there. No one greeted me. Stood in line, (note: I was the only person there), for nearly 5 min then just called upon an employee to help me. Ordered a fresh squeezed OJ and oatmeal with brown sugar crumble and apple cinnamon topping. I'm a Jamba Juice regular therefore I know that they prepare the oatmeal with soy milk.
