    Razzmatazz

Need to cool off with all the walking from going to different shops in Pearlridge Mall? Then Jamba is the place to go. From smoothies, juices and acai bowls, they have something for almost everyone. My fav is the Tropical dragon. Wanted to try something new, so I ordered the Large Razzmatazz and had them split the order in 2 cups so I could share with my hubby. Comes out to 2 small orders, but cheaper in price - budget tip ;) It was okay, but next time I'll stick to my favs!

it's like there is no urgency in this establishment. we waited almost 10 minutes and watched 4 people walk out because they were standing in a line of 7 ppl. 2 workers and the girls didn't look like she know what she doing. she kept looking for her co worker and frowning like she lost. come on guys!

First time at this location. I was greeted and my order didn't take long prepare. The store was clean and uncluttered. Ill give five stars for service. I ordered the orange dream. Just like an orange creamsicle with out the stick. Good flavor and texture. Love it. Stay safe.

A açaí primo bowl is $12.03. For that price, you would expect quality. However, this is what was served. Super disappointed to see this. I worked at Jamba many years ago when açaí bowls were just introduced and we'd never use such heavily bruised bananas. It's so easy to just remove that portion or use a different banana. Also, did you just scrape the bottom of the honey? Or is this new? It was like little bits of crystallized sugar on the fruits rather than smooth honey. You're charging $12+, please do better.

Wanted something refreshing so I decided to check out Jamba Juice . I seen on a commercial they have new drinks out boba. So I got their Lava flow boba and it was pretty good. Flavors of coconut and pineapple juice blended w/Strawberry boba. I'm not really a fan of boba so I told the worker if he can add half of the serving if boba. The strawberry boba was different it popped in your mouth like Ikura (Salmon Roe) not like your ordinary boba that's chewy. Overall I would probably order it again . Mask up and be safe

Just for downloading their app, it came with a 50% off any smoothie so I ordered my favorite...a large Orange Dream. There wasn't a line so while I was putting in my order, they were making my drink. Waited maybe a minute and it was done! Nice workers and awesome service!

I wish there was a Jamba Juice in the Pearl City area, but I have been coming here for drinks when I'm in the area. I visited this particular store after a quick hike in the morning. I was craving something to snack on after my hike. I ended up ordering the Primo Acai Bowl without blueberries. You can also substitute other items as well so I asked for more bananas instead. I believe the Acai bowls are premade as I didn't wait too long for it to be ready. The taste of the acai bowl is to my liking. I really like that they put a bunch of the granola and coconut shred, it gives a lot of texture to the bowl. I wish they had different sizes for the acai bowl, but it was great tasting. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

    Guava, where?

Just came back from here with a Gotta Guava, with no guava in it. When I asked the girl if they forgot to put guava in, she started the blender and just said "Huh?" After I shouted to match the volume of her blending, she assured me there was guava in it, instead of asking if I wanted it remade. Taste like banana and pineapple. Disappointed.

Today I used my Yelp Elite perk at Jamba Juice and ordered a large Matcha Green tea blast. It sure was refreshing and yummy and it hit the spot. They are practicing social distancing and you need to wear your mask when you're there. The staff was friendly and helpful and made my drink fast within 2 minutes. I placed my order over the phone and went to pick it and pay there. Recommend Jamba Juice to Everyone. I will definitely return here because I love there smoothies. My favorite is the white gummy bear and matcha Green tea.

Wanted to get an Açaí Bowl and a Tropical Dragon smoothie (Pataya) it's such a pretty magenta color. The wait time was about 5 mins. The girl made the Açaí Bowl nice and the Tropical Dragon smoothie was good.

If you're looking for some açaí, I would go somewhere more local or to Nalu. It didn't seem as flavorful as other places.

My personal favorite was the honey butter chicken and waffles. That chicken was so well marinated and fried to perfection. I saw a news story on the wall that the owner had worked at Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles. We've been to Roscoe's and this place's chicken was much better. The skin was perfectly crisp and the honey butter sauce was only slightly sweet which added a bit of flavor but did not overwhelm you with sweetness. My kids ate up the chicken meat and I was happy to enjoy the crisp chicken skin by itself. My wife also really enjoyed the waffles and found them to be quite flavorful, again preferring them over what you would get at Roscoe's. The gravy on the loco moco was fantastic and perfectly paired with the rice. My son ordered the churro waffles and was happy with his selection. For me, though, I dream of that crisp chicken skin. Everything looked appealing and appetizing to the eye, but we were met with disappointment on multiple dishes. With Da Bite, you get a flight of three smaller portions of entrees: 1) the waygu loco moco meat was overcooked and the gravy was just salty; 2) crab benedict was more breading than crab so once you bit in, it was quite mealy underneath the initial crunch. The lack of crab could easily go unnoticed when smothered in sauce. 3) Ube pancakes with ube marscapone... the marscapone was delicious, but the pancakes lacked fluff and moisture. The kids pancakes also had the similar spongey dry texture and my nephew chose to only eat half the portion. We also had the Longsilog, which is a sweet sausage, but it was overly sweet for my taste. All in all, the food was just all right for the hype. Maybe we would've enjoyed it better if we hadn't already experienced better versions of similar menu items that set the bar earlier on the trip.

That being said, you could tell they were a little overwhelmed and in a rush at times. When we told our server that one of the drinks we ordered tasted funny, she was quick to offer to replace it, which I appreciated, but she didn't really offer an alternative. It took a second try before we were able to get something different. As for the food, it was okay. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out to me either. Maybe I'm a little biased since I grew up eating Filipino food, but for the price, I just don't think the food was worth it. I ordered Jessica's Bento, and unfortunately, it just didn't hit for me. Personally, I'd rather get a Zip Pac from Zippy's for less money. Would I come back? Yeah, I would. I think there's potential here, especially since this is a new location, so I'd give them another shot!

I would say that Forty Niner is a great place to get the bang for your buck in terms of pricing for their food, but I will say that the quality of the food isn't as great as it's presented on their ordering site, Beluga. Today, my husband and I chose to do takeout and ordered three things: The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Chorizo Hash, and the Molokai Loco Moco. For the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, the lemon taste was pretty concentrated in the middle of the pancake/not well distributed and we couldn't really taste the ricotta flavor, but it was pleasantly sweet (not too sweet). For the Chorizo Hash, I was a little bit sad that it wasn't very flavorful and the Chorizo wasn't well cooked. The Molokai Loco Moco's flavor receives the same review as the Chorizo Hash; although it was special/the first time we'd had Loco Moco like that, it was pretty soggy/watery and lacked flavor. (There were a LOT of people waiting!) Lady calling out names as tables were ready really seemed to enjoy her job. Her intonation was pleasant to listen to, and she was easy to understand, nice and loud. Names were being called out at a good pace so tables were clearing quickly. Guess the breakfast/brunch folks were all leaving around that time. Just under 20 minutes my name was called and as soon as we entered the door from waiting on a bench outside there was a hostess ready to seat us. After seating us she asked about drinks and very quickly brought hubby's Dr. Pepper and my Coke Zero (no ice). Mine had a lemon in it, which turns out to be the signal it's a Coke Zero. Added nice flavor, too. She said our server would be right with us, and we had just enough time to scan the menu then our server Alicia came to our table. We ordered immediately and our food came in record time. Hubby's pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon, no butter had tall fluffy pancakes, and no butter. (Some places forget, but not here.) My Salmon Benedict came with eggs poached perfectly, yolks runny, as it should be. I ordered my hash browns "crispy" and they were perfectly crisp on both sides. (Not every place crisps hash browns on both sides...) Alicia came at just the right time to check on us and ask if I wanted my soda refilled. She looked at it and asked if it was a Coke Zero, so the lemon must be the signal. She was very busy (it was bustling inside) but managed to stop by at all the right times. Friendly but no chit chat since it was super busy, very efficient, which was perfect for us. She came by just when we were done and asked if I needed a box for my food, and we asked if we could order a slice of pie to go. Hubby wanted the fresh strawberry pie which is in season. She suggested the strawberry tart, which suited him just fine. I asked if they still had fresh peach pie and she again suggested the tart. Alicia brought our 2 tarts in a paper bag and said she included forks and napkins. She had given me a paper bag for my Benedict but I wanted to help the environment and we were trying to fit it with the tarts. She was eagle eyed and called out to us that she would bring another bag. We explained we just wanted to not waste a bag and showed her the unopened one she had brought with my box. She was amazing. Looking forward to the next time we visit. Hope we get her as our server again. Got home and while the tarts are for dessert tonight, I wanted to enjoy the freshness of the tart crust so I snuck a piece. The crust was so good! And the fresh peaches were great, too. Always better than canned. The yards are really almost like a slice and a half of pie and and neater than taking home a slice, so it's a good deal. Pies are expensive because making pie crusts takes time, so getting extra crust in a tart is great. Hope our next visit goes as well as today's. Thinking of getting the chicken pot pie next time!

I was told that the macadamia nut cream pie was only made on the weekends. Ok, I asked if I can still be it by the slice on the weekend and she told me that it is only sold whole. That was a big disappointment because that was my favorite pie there but did not want to get a whole pie. They did have the banana cream and I was able to get by the slice. I ended up getting a slice of custard pie for my 2nd choice. The gal did show me the sign by the register of what pies are available for slice for that day, which wasn't a lot. Both pies tasted ok, nothing special. The banana cream had a few slices of real banana, which was nice. The pie crust was on the thick side and tasted pretty dry. It wasn't the best banana cream pie I've had .The custard pie was meh, didn't have a real good custardy taste and the crust was the same as the banana cream. Overall, the customer service was good and I probably will go elsewhere for pies.

You'll be lucky to have either Annie, Nette or Jazlyn - Annie and Nette been there for a long time and made the switch to those newfangled-techie-handheld computers - they take our order with such grace that I'm proud of them lol Jazlyn is very sweet too and takes care of us old folks like we were her own parents. Our 2-year old granddaughter enjoys eating there too and looks forward to seeing Annie, Nette and now Jazlyn! They bring two new crayons and a cute picture of dinosaurs golfing to keep her occupied while us grownups chat. Usually not very busy if you go before the first round of golfers pau. Bathrooms are right around the corner - no stairs to access. Their pro shop is upstairs if you care to check it out. The only thing I wish they had is papaya. They do have a nice little fruit cup for $5 chock full of strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and grapes. They are having an Easter Brunch on April 20 with an extensive buffet (posted pic of menu) for $75 adults, $45 for ages 4-12 and free for kids 3 and under. This is our first time attending so will be back with a review.

I asked for half-sweet (I cannot stand sickly sweet drinks) and it still hit the spot! The banana pudding was nice and added creaminess and thickness to the drink. Other places with cream tops tend to melt faster. The banana flavor tasted natural and not so artificial tasting like some banana flavored drinks tend to be. Price was a little steep with the added $1 tip, but once in a while I would come back again for a treat. Not the best area as it tends to get congested but I do not mind it if I'm not in a rush to do anything else.

I was a little scared to order matcha because I'm quite picky, but my bf ended up getting a banana pudding matcha so I tried some of his. I stuck with a standard latte, which I enjoyed. I was surprised by the matcha! The quality was good and didn't taste grassy. I think this spot is quite the hidden gem if you're in the Waipahu area. My only complaint was that there was a lot of ice and pudding, so there's not that much "drink." The banana pudding was also really thick, probably better to eat with a spoon. Overall would recommend!

First off, we loved the fresh homemade potato chips that are served for lunch. They were hot and so generous - I didn't think we'd finish, but did because they were so light and tasty. The kids shared a kids pizza and fried chicken and fries - a pretty good deal especially since the chicken is their specialty. I had the mix plate - which included the medium rare steak, fried fish, and fried chicken - a yummy assortment for $24. I was STUFFED and happy to get to try an assortment of their best dishes! My husband tried the smashed burger and fries - perfectly seasoned, went well with the bun, fresh tomato and lettuce, and without mayonnaise or special sauce as requested. We're looking forward to visiting for breakfast soon! Those dishes look really yummy, and reasonably priced, too!

Returned for dinner at the invitation of Pearl at Kalauao last week. (Sorry this review is a week…read morelate.) Arrived at 5pm and was promptly greeted and seated. Our server Hana was bubbly and friendly. She took good care of us. They had the Maui POG seltzer in hand so I got that. Hubby had the Modelo on tap. We enjoyed both. Their complimentary waffle style chips were crispy and warm. Warm makes it over the top yummy! Hubby had the homemade chili & chicken with white rice and potato/mac salad. Chili definitely has a homemade taste. Came topped with a lot of chopped onions and some cheese. He said it was tasty but he'd ask for less onions if he gets it in the future. The fried chicken was boneless pieces and had a honey mustard dipping sauce on the side, which was very good. He got it with potato/mac salad, which he said was good. He ate just about everything. I got the Mauka to Makai (turf and surf), 8 oz ribeye (ordered rare plus), and shrimp scampi, with steamed veggies and white rice. The ribeye came closer to medium rare, which was why I ordered it rare plus instead of medium rare, and it was ok with me. The shrimp was a surprise, lightly breaded with shell on. Shell was thin enough to eat, pupu style which I did with the first shrimp, but it's never been my thing so I peeled it off the remaining shrimp. Pity to waste the crisp breading, but oh well. The four shrimp were large, firm, cooked just right, not dry at all. Steamed veggies were good. Meal was good, and there was plenty. Had to take half home. Hana came back to check on us and ask us if we wanted more drinks and how the food was. Derek the manager for the evening also came to check on us while we ate. We were well taken care of. Both of us enjoyed our meals. Mahalo to Pearl at Kalauao staff for a great meal.
