Honestly, I don't understand how such a large chain that claims to sell fresh juices is so inconsistent. Out of the last 10 times I visited, I was only able to buy a fresh juice 4 times. Every other time I was told, "Sorry, we don't have fresh juice right now." Very disappointing. read more

Walked in to order some drinks and the place was so stuffy and hot. I waited in a line and finally stood in front of the register. After waiting for about 5 minutes, one male employee told a customer behind me(?) that they could order themselves using a kiosk there..which I didn't realize they had one or was told about it. William seemed nice, too but didn't actually interact with him on this visit. 5 stars for the employees 3.5 stars for taste 2* stars for price (* because I had a $3 off coupon) I haven't had Jamba Juice in over a decade, and I'm a pumpkin fan - although, not with a sweet tooth - so the super-sugary drinks at cafes don't work for me. I decided to try out Jamba's Pumpkin Protein Smoothie, thinking it would be a good alternative. The drink ended up being incredibly sweet. I asked the guy who made it if that's how it's supposed to be, and he immediately grabbed my drink and said he would remake it to be less sweet. I was really impressed! He succeeded, however, all the pumpkin flavour was gone; turns out, the pumpkin spice they use is what makes it so sweet. I was bummed but glad to have something I could actually drink. The prices here are obscene -- $6.50 for a small is way too much. I could make a fruit and protein smoothie at home for less than $1. Yay for nice and very willing employees, but I would not get that drink again. read more

Everyone has been to a jamba juice so I don't need to describe what they have here. I'm writing this review because the service is excellent. I came here on the day my groupon was expiring like an idiot expecting to get frozen yogurt. Not to my surprise, there were a dozen fellow idiots desperately trying to cash in on their groupon. Sadly, they ran out because they only have one machine. People were becoming upset and the line was going out the door. The manager of the store decided to write on the back of a jamba juice card her contact information and that we would claim our groupon next month. I felt this was going extremely out of her way because honestly, its our fault for not using the groupon earlier. Its really not her problem and we could always use our groupon for its face value and we don't lose out. None the less, she did a great job of staying calm and smiling to every customer as she wrote dozens of cards to the customers. Excellent example of outstanding service. 5 stars. read more

We waited 10 minutes for our order (2 jj's). There were 4 people behind the counter but really only one guy making all the shakes - I feel sorry for that guy. Do not order their soft serve ice cream. I've always liked coming to this location but there were a few instances that made me weary under old management. I once walked into the manager yelling at a customer who did not speak English. Totally not a way to address customers and people in general. However, since the store has gotten a new manager I swear I love this place again! All the employees are so great and they always make drinks correctly. Pros: NEW MANAGEMENT! = healthier and less toxic environment and less of a wait for drinks. Employees are genuinely friendly, courteous and on top of it. Cons: parking can be a challenge at times (since it is westlake) --but that has nothing to do with Jamba Juice. read more

Been to one Jamba Juice, you've been to them all. This place has a good location in the West Lake Shopping Center. Close to the parking lot. The place never seems that crowded, no more than three or four people at a time waiting. They are fast and efficient. The staff is friendly enough. Good time to have a drink while you're shopping. The juices are always decent but the way 5 of the staff YELL at the top of their lungs "HELLO!!!!!!" at the same time at everyone when they walk in the door, is so completely annoying and I'm in a great mood today. I can't imagine dealing with these people when I am cranky. So not only do you get yelled at, you get to hear the same stupid, scary, as if they just did an 8 ball of coke between themselves in the back room, shouting of a greeting over and over again. They also act so insanely immature back there, yelling/singing to the faint musak, makes you wonder who is in charge. Other Jamba Juice people don't act like this so its obviously not a corporate directive to annoy the customers. I just absolutely love their service here. Friendly and lively. Most their staff is always quick to resolve any issues without putting any burden of a bad experience on the customer. This location can easily be 4+ stars. On a hot mid 80s day like last friday when I'm just dying to have a nice cold tart Pomegranate Paradise, of course I'm going to make my way over to Jamba Juice. I think of fresh fruits when hitting Jamba but at this location I think of fresh fruit flies. :( It's as annoying as it is disgusting especially when they get airborne on us going for an all out airstrike. I mentioned it once a couple of months back to their supervisor and their response was "It's always like that..." I was like O_o)??? Is that your final answer?!?! Other Jamba Juice locations such as the one on Market Street or 9th Ave haven't had this issue that I have noticed throughout the years. I've been to multiple jamba juices and this one is both excellent and terrible in different ways. The customer service is great with fresh faces greeting people who enter and quick and polite service. I've never had to wait longer then 5 minutes to get my order no matter how busy they were and am usually in and out in a flash. Unfortunately the drinks themselves are pretty bad. Each time I ordered a matcha green tea it was watery and all I could taste was the powder. Other drinks yielded similar results and just weren't a treat at all.
