Haven't been to this plaza for quite some time and parking is still just as horrible - so busy! First time trying this place. We placed our order at the kiosk - quite a few items to choose from - and only a short wait for our drinks to be ready. I went with the Strawberry Matcha Latte ($7.75), 50% sweetness and light ice. My sisters and I ordered different drinks with varying sweetness levels, and for some reason my big sister who did the lowest level of sweetness came out (barely) sweeter than my sister and I's. Don't get me wrong I also don't like when a boba spot has too sweet of drinks, but this one is like flavorless quite literally. I got the Strawberry Cheese, which is supposed to mimic Strawberry Cheesecake, but it's just watered down strawberry slush with mostly ice and water. Plus I wanted to mention prices are quite high, which would be understandable if the flavor was actually there and consistent. The interior was nice though, and so were the staff and the actual boba. I mean, just my luck, I'm lactose intolerant by default AND can't have caffeine past 11am or I won't sleep for a whole business day. Tiger Tea specializes in: tea and straus organic milk. I will say, they have great boba. it was worth every penny of the 85 cent upcharge for it. as for the drink: I settled for a banana smoothie; with real banana so it was like a banana slush. it was super icy in the beginning, but once some of the ice melted into the drink it was more creamy (maybe 30 minutes later). I will definitely be more open to trying the teas; we got here around 4pm so I didn't want to risk not being able to sleep and settled for a non-caffeine and non-dairy drink (I also opted for oatmilk for an upcharge). read more

Hidden in a plaza with ranch 99, I would've never tried this unassuming boba spot unless I was craving it after a supermarket run. I've only been here a couple times so far, but their mochi drink has definitely made a lasting impression on me. Their drinks are a little on the expensive side though. My go to drink is one of their mochi drinks, and the mochi just melts in your mouth. They also give a good amount, so additional toppings aren't needed unless you're feeling a little hungry. The tea taste is not overwhelming, and pairs perfectly with 75% sweetness. Service is quite fast, and they still too off your drink even if you don't want ice in it. Overall a very solid boba spot when you're craving a reward after a big grocery haul next door. The drinks are just a little too expensive given in the competition, however. read more

This is a quieter area, so it is nice to have a good boba shop around here. I have been to their other locations too and their drinks are usually pretty consistent at all their locations. At this particular location, I tried their Black Sugar Boba Milk Tea, Cheese Watermelon, Coconut Pudding, Jasmine Milk Tea, Matcha Latte, and Potted Plant Tea. You pay on kiosks which are pretty easy to follow. I only had to wait because it seemed like the people ordering before me didn't know how to work the kiosk. Nice, light and airy interior where I think you can order at the counter but I elected to try the one of two contactless ordering kiosks. Ordered: GRAPEFRUIT GREEN TEA, added boba. You can sweeten this how you'd like but did the lowest at 25% which was NOT recommended. Probably because it was grapefruit. I always ask for less ice. I like grapefruit juice, and while not for most people, this was a good drink for me and I'd order it again. HŌJICHA LATTE. This is my latest fav, Hōjicha (Japanese green tea that is pan-fried /oven-roasted as part of its processing), whenever I can find it! Did not see if I could do this hot so did less ice, add boba, no sweet. Would order this again. TT&J did have Earl Grey on their menus but said it was all out when I was doing my order. Also noticed that both the drinks I ordered above was in the kiosk but not on the menu posted above and behind the counter or in on their website. Not sure what to make of that. Except check both the kiosk and posted menu before you decide. Did notice my choice of 16 oz v. the bigger 24 oz. left me feeling whaaaatttt?!?! So I'll have a better idea next time. There's a kiosk for you to order which I prefer because sometimes you just need visuals of what the drink looks like and the kiosk provides that. This location is decorated so nice and modern. Been wanting to try Tiger Tea but I always thought they only served dairy and limited fruit tea options so it's a no-go for me. But recently I saw that their default is NON-DAIRY MILK so I came running. Super easy to order on their 2 kiosks and there's a couple seats there. It's the first time in forever that I've had a Thai tea. I ordered one hot with 75% sugar and it was so good. Tastes just like I remembered. I have to say I'm happy Daly City is thriving and getting more boba shops!! I know True Dan was in this plaza, but now Tiger Tea & Juice is here. What drew me to get boba yesterday was the banner they have hanging. I'm always down to try new places and I couldn't resist after shopping at ranch 99. This boba shop has the cutest aesthetic and I love all the decor! It's a smaller shop, so I wouldn't recommend larger groups since the shop is more narrow. The cups have a nice soft matte feel to them, which I like. There are two kiosk stations where you can order your boba. They have a variety of milk tea and regular tea flavors. You can also customize each drink based on the size, sweetness level, toppings, milk options, and I believe ice levels. I ended up getting the brown sugar milk tea with tapioca. My total came out to be $5.62 for a small size. Average boba pricing now which is sad since it used to be cheaper back then. EDIT TO ADD: my price was $5.62 because first time orders get 15% off. I'm not too sure what the original pricing was, but you can expect it to be $5-7 I assume. There are workers that will call your order out by your name. Since the shop wasn't too busy, my order came out within ~3-5 minutes. You'll also get notified via text since the kiosk is similar to Quickly's mobile kiosk - it'll ask you for your phone number to text you your order number + status updates of when your drink is done. The brown sugar milk tea was good. Even at 100% sweet, it wasn't overly sweet at all. The tapioca was chewy, but not super fresh. I think this drink would be 10x better if it had fresh and hot tapioca on the bottom. This place will satisfy your basic cravings for boba. I'll have to try more things on the menu. For now, it's good, but tastes like your average boba you get around the Bay Area. read more
