I'm surprised by what passes for a "smoothie" at this Jamba joint. Although the cashier was friendly and the service fast despite the huge crowd, this so happens to be the only Jamba location I've come across that really delivers 'juice'. Our large orders of Razzmatazz, Banana Berry, Mango-a-Go-Go and Kaleribbean Breeze came out watery and off-flavored. I watched as one employee added 3 extra scoops of crushed ice into the Kaleribbean after it failed to reach the right size, leaving me with papery juice with chunks of ice to sip and crunch. Most of the Jamba Juices I've been to have had really nice workers who actually know how to talk to customers but this one for some reason almost seems like they're trained to be rude for no apparent reason. And on top of customer service being poor, the drinks here are also not as good as other locations. I would say that during my entire pregnancy so far (8 months now) I have been consistently buying Jamba Juice as it helps my nausea. So far all locations I've been too have been extremely friendly and my smoothie comes out perfectly... until I go to this location. When I was taking my order she wasn't friendly at all and I had to repeat my order as the, I think, supervisor, assisted her in imputing the order - so she wasn't even listening to me. Also, if I order a peach pleasure (no bananas sub peaches) I believe that means an ALL PEACH SMOOTHIE... and here's why I say this: Being pregnant I have my cravings and I know what I do not want. The other worker made my smoothie and I noticed that there was a huge strawberry in it making it pink. I said, "I'm sorry but there was a strawberry in there..." and the worker said "it doesn't taste different". I don't mean to be rude, but pay attention to what you're doing - take the strawberry out knowing she wanted all peaches without talking back to your customer??? It's so simple. The supervisor noticed I wasn't happy but still didn't look at me and acted like she didn't really care. There was so much tension and I SAW the girls talk about me as she was making me a new drink. Worst service. Honestly some of the employees are rude. They could've mentioned that they were only using 1 working blender. Our order took so long (not knowing they only were using one blender). They were making other drinks before ours wrong. Then when we started asking questions one of the employees was giving us snarky remarks. I could've taken my money elsewhere like the starbucks across from them like how I originally wanted. Then for one of the drinks I asked for extra of fruit chunks. That drink didn't have the extra fruit chunks, but another drink that we wanted regular had the fruit. Out of the employees there only the one that took our order was polite. Not surprisingly, Jamba wants in on the chunk of cash being thrown at juice stores. I mean, they are Jamba Juice after all. The problem being, Jamba has conditioned my mind and taste buds to expect solid smoothies that are not too complicated. They now offer smoothies with veggie juice added. They have a few different options available. "Red juice" was the one I went for. It made the smoothie taste a bit off. Don't get me wrong. I'm a huge fan of fresh veggie juice and I get down with wheatgrass often, so I am used to the taste of lawn trimmings. But this made the smoothie taste a bit too funky for me. The mash up of fruit and this red juice didn't do it for me. I guess I need to stick to the tried and true all fruit smoothies and not get too fancy with it. The store is absolutely tiny and if there are more than 8 people in the house, it's a can of sardines. Service was fast, people were nice and I will give a compliment. While pressing the straw through the lid, the gentlemen made a mess. He cleaned it up, proceeded to make it worse and decided to go over, slow down and give the cup a thorough cleaning. I've always loved banana berry. I love how the drinks are very fruity, or very chocolate depending on your choice and craving of the day. I came in and orders an acaí bowl small with no coconut shavings. This was aesthetically beautiful, the acaí mix reminded me of the banana berry flavor I love and the fruit felt very fresh. The customer service was ok, and parking was alright, I just hate the parking lot in this area. Besides that, didn't feel very welcomed as a customer here. This is a very busy Jamba Juice location in the Fremont Plaza Shopping Center with the Sprouts, Petco and Rite Aid. It is right next door to Boston Market. Just stopped by because for Labor Day Weekend they were having a Buy 1 Get 1 FREE Bogo sale with coupons from their website. It's a pretty good deal so we stopped on by. It was full house because the deal was soo good even for Jamba Juice! This location is very small and it felt really cramped because of how many people were here at around 3 PM. Ordered a Small Razzmatazz and a Small Mega Mango. We got one drink for FREE and we paid for the other. I had an additional $3.00 off because I joined the Jamba Rewards, which I highly recommend joining if you frequent Jamba Juice often. For every 35 Points you earn, you get $3 off your purchase. For every $1 your purchase, you earn 1 point. My total was only $1.97 because of the $3 off I had. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our drink but that was kinda to be expected because of how good the deal was. Our server was Parisa and she was fast, friendly and courteous. My cousin took me to this Jamba Juice when I was 12 years old, so this place will always have a special place in my heart. I loved the smell when I walked in, and it was probably the first smoothie I'd ever consciously tried in my young life. It took me awhile to figure out which flavor I wanted, and I finally decided on the Orange Zinger (now called Orange Berry Blitz). It's still my favorite now. This is my favorite Jamba Juice location; the line generally doesn't last long, unless there's a very, very complicated customer taking their sweet time at the register. Imagine walking here from Lake Elizabeth, and back. Well, that's what I did! Long story..... Was it worth it? Considering that it was a much further walk than previously anticipated and that it was a warm day - no. Never ever EVER do I recommend doing this, unless it's a cooler day and you have all the time in the world to stroll around Fremont. In that case, by all means, go right ahead - it's a great distance to travel (approx. 2.5 miles roundtrip), just not very scenic. Anyway, I used a $2 coupon for a size 16 White Gummi Bear, thanks to a recommendation from a friend who knows I love sweets. It's a yellow-orange smoothie that tastes like gummi bears blended with sherbert. Definitely can't be healthy, but it's sweet, refreshing, and delicious! P.S. If you are trying to be the face of healthy smoothies, why do you want to have a secret menu which contains drinks like "gummy bear" and "butterfinger"? (One Star Part) This not so much a review of the Jamba Juice as it is for the behavior of one employee in particular - Sim. I came in to order a couple jamba juices and when I walked up to the register, I asked Sim a question. He walked away and ignored me. Guess he was having a bad day. Then another eventually came up (very nice) and helped, but he had trouble putting the me gift cards in the system. He turned and asked Su clearly if asim could help. Sim walked past this guy ignoring him with no response and then went to the back and was throwing around boxes. Really nice folks. Recommend finding a different employee quickly. My kids and I always come to this location when smoothies are in order. The staff is always nice. Today (two smoothies were purchased) was a slight disappointment NOT because of the staff but because of the store's stock of gift cards. There weren't any at all on this day. I thought that this was lame because Jamba Juice basically lost some business. I will give this place a zero start because of the rudeness and unsanitary. I ordered 4 drinks. During the process, one of the employee name Manny dropped a lid of the blender on the floor, picked it up and put it back on the blender to make the drink. I asked her to remade it since that is unsanitary. She rolled her eyes at me, but processed to make a new one. 3 out of my 4 drinks came out junky and not blend well, big pieces of banana still there. I asked to talk to the one in charge. Her respond was all she can do is remade the drink, and the one that has already been made is a done deal she won't remade it. I told her that was not the point. If I did not catch that moment when I saw the lid fall down, got picked up and used again without washing it, I would not know how unsanitary that is. Her response was "too bad". I get to my car and a staff member chases me down to notify me I was given the wrong drink. My opinion: the teens that came after me must have knew some of the people that worked there. Shaking hands and obviously showing rapport amongst each other. I'm not the one to complain often but come on now. I was in there by myself for a good 5 minutes before I was greeted or my order was taken. Then the teens got their order before me? Then give me the wrong order. Ambience- Simple. No places to sit inside, but a small table to sit outside. Not as fancy as the Jamba at Pacific Commons. Pricing- Like every other Jamba, this is a bit pricey but nothing different. Choice- A HUGE selection of items, overwhelming for me, but good to know there is something for everyone. They also have ice-free choices but note that the berries are frozen, so you are likely to get a brain freeze if thats the reason to avoid ice. Customer Service- 3 teen kids (possibly?) were at the counters. They were very courteous and friendly. They whipped up my beverage in 2 mins. They did give me a wrong item but offered to fix it right away. My only pet peeve was them using profanity in their conversation among themselves. Sure, they were nice to us, but when there are kids at the store you need to watch your language. Timing- Really fast service. Took them 2 mins to finish making a beverage. Coming to this location a second time before a long drive, my boyfriend and I decided we'd get a fresh and fun drink to enjoy on the way! This Jamba Juice is located in a busy shopping center parking lot, making it a slight challenge to find parking, but nonetheless active and fast paced! I had ordered a Açai power smoothie with a scoop of protein powder for an extra kick and to make it more a meal. Reading over the menu, my boyfriend decided to try a seasonal mango smoothie with no substitutions or alterations. The line was moderately long after we had ordered, and the space is relatively small enough that you're standing alongside the other customers with their arms crossed anxiously awaiting their drink! They used to have a table or two inside this location but they had since taken those away, making the outdoor seating your only option. That being said, only 4 different tables would be available (if you're lucky) so you're better off taking your drink to go! Our drinks were made in 15 minutes roughly, but the line and short staff caused their to be more of a delay than usual, which we gladly understood. Both of our drinks were made lovely , despite mine having the slight powder taste meaning it wasn't mixed correctly, it still did its job and filled me up while tasting as I had last remembered. You would think that a smoothie is beyond screwing up, but Mowry Av Jamba, you've proved me wrong. It's 8:00 pm on a Friday night and I'm in a rush. I glance inside and there are 2 ppl waiting and nobody in line. Alright, I'll be able to get in and out quickly, or so I thought. But no, it took me over 25 f--ing minutes from the minute I step inside, to the time I left. Smoothie1. The first one they finished, the guy kept scooping the smoothie out of the blender, into the cup, and then back into the blender! Come on people, this isn't some complicated chemical formula! Finally he decided there wasn't enough liquid and decided to reblend it. 8:11pm Smoothie 2. The guy that makes the first smoothie decides he needs to take a dump or something and disappears into the bathroom for the next 15 mins. So this other worker must be better, right? WRONG. The second smoothie I saw them try to make was a Carribean Passion and the monstrosity that came out looked nothing like it. It was like a weird yellowish soupy mess with ice chunks floating around. After fiddling with it for awhile, he girl working on it eventually just added more ice so it'd at least look halfway decent. The customer waiting for it looked like she wanted to just kill everyone. At this point I should've just left but I don't know what I was thinking. I had already waited this long, maybe it couldn't get any worse? HA! 8:19pm Smoothie 3. Finally they get to my smoothie. Blender turns on and the blades at the bottom are whirling but it's obvious that the smoothie isn't blending. The girl looks perplexed. Finally she just dumps it into a cup and gives it to me. ALL I CAN TASTE IS ICE AND BOOST POWDER. Seriously the worst smoothie I've ever had in my life. It's now 8:26pm, I've just wasted over 25 mins of my life watching smoothie making incompetence.
