I bought Groupon vouchers back in the day: $10 for 2 medium whirl'ns, each with 2 toppings. And I finally got around to redeeming one! This place was really crowded on a Saturday afternoon at 4 PM. The line is to the very right of the store, which also confuses me at Jamba Juice. The wait for our froyo took about 15 minutes, and the process of making our froyo looked laborious too, as they have to throw the frozen yogurt and mix-ins into the machine, compress it and dispense into the container, and add toppings. I was surprised to learn that it wasn't an automatic froyo machine. If you order their whirl'ns normally, you get one free topping, and each additional one is $0.25. Their toppings include pecans, almonds, coconut, bananas, dark chocolate shavings, and more. Service here is really mediocre. The cashier isn't happy to see you, they don't fill drinks up to capacity of the cup, and smiles don't exist. || F O O D || MAGNIFICENT MANGO PINEAPPLE: nonfat tart frozen yogurt, mangos, pineapple, pineapple juice, contains milk [Medium for $4.75] - I got the glazed pecans and toasted almonds as toppings. I loved the pecans! - The blend of mango and pineapple was tasty. I also liked the little chunks of frozen fruit pieces. - My cup wasn't filled completely -__- SWIRLY STRAWBERRY VANILLA: low fat vanilla frozen yogurt, strawberries, apple strawberry juice blend, contains milk [Medium for $4.75] - My brother's cup was wayyyy more filled. He chose coconut shavings and fresh banana slices as his toppings. I really liked the fresh banana slices! He got about 8 of them, and they were fresh! - The strawberry flavor is very good, and once again, I liked the little frozen chunks of strawberry. || C L O S U R E || Cruddy service and expensive prices without coupons and promotions. This is one of the best Jamba Juice locations I've been to. My drinks have always been well prepared, without ice or unblended fruit in them. I would take off a star for the long lines, but that's not really their fault. My favorite drinks are the strawberry whirl all-fruit smoothie and the mango mantra. I have never been to a worse Jamba Juice. The service is slow as hell and the place smelled like rotten strawberries and other fruits. Plus, it is dirty (look at the floor!) and not well maintaned. It is the worse Jamba Juice i have ever seen. Jamba Juice prides itself on being healthly and clean, while this place is missing that message for sure. The manager really needs to put some money into making the place look better. I am thinking about calling the Heath Department because it was so bad. I know that this place cant be up to code. I saw employees touching their hair, face and dirty surfaces and not washing their hands. Then they would make someones drink and touch the bannans they put on top. GROSS!!! I ordered 1 small drink and there was only 3 people in front of me. I expected it take at most 5 minutes to get my drink. I waited for almost 20 minutes. When I went up to ask what was taking so long, the juice maker Noeh was very rude. Instead of being nice and saying something nice like they are " Sorry we are short staffed" (which they werent, there was like 4-5 people working just chit-chatting) he just yelled at me that they are working and to just wait my turn. The people in front of me were also getting mad and he too was rude to them when they asked what was taking so long. In total I was in there for almost 30 minutes for just 1 drink. Whats worse is my drink was not even blended all the way and had big pieces of fruit in it. I ended up just tossing it because it was so poorly made. Whats going on with this place? Their hours are posted until 9pm but mon-thurs they close at 8. I went here at least 3 times and they are always closed. I've been going here for over 10 years now so it's a staple of my adolescent times. It's always crowded but service is generally quick. The smoothy quality is consistently very good here, even though I regularly substitute soy milk for juice. However, when I bring in a reusable cup (and present it before ordering), they almost always either fail to give me the 10 cent discount Jamba Juice promises, or they forget to use the cup. Or, like today, they forget both. Great product, but they really need to work on employee training. Reusable cups save them money and are better for the environment; it's really a no brainer to encourage their use. read more

I would avoid this place if there was another jamba location that was closer. This location is frequently packed and waiting in line can be so long, up to 15 minutes before you get to the register and then another 15 minutes for your drinks. I have been here a few times now and the service is pretty great, the employees look like they are working hard and as fast as they can. They sometimes do not know about the latest coupons and are easily confused but at least they are nice. Their drinks here are not good. Nearly every time I have gone here, there was something off about my drink. Either too chalky/powdery, frozen fruit chunks were not blended all the way, too sour, too sweet, too watered down and icy and the list just goes on. I don't come to this location anymore unless I am really craving a smoothie for jamba. Their food was okay. No complaints there. The pretzels and baked goods tasted fine but on one of my visits, I did see a fly stuck inside the baked goods and was just hoping from one pastry to the next. After that, I stopped buying any of their baked goods. Their oatmeals were pretty good. Not great but decent. I definitely had better drinks and oatmeals from other jamba locations. This review is for the lady with glasses and blonde hair. She is so nice! I came in on a hot day and the line was not that long. Surprise surprise. I was looking forward to a 2 oz wheatgrass shot and an original mango a go go. I got my mango a go go but another girl that worked there told me I can get a refund because the wheatgrass juicer was broken. I was kinda sad but I agreed then the blonde lady with glasses came to the rescue and offered me a lemon ginger cayenne shot instead! I figured I had nothing to lose and she got me addicted. The employees prefer to jabber about snookies adventures on Jersey shore than to serve the customers. Used to come to this Jamba Juice often but stopped because of the inconsistency but stopped by this week on Monday and was welcomed and helped by Amber who was so friendly ,helpful and energetic. Over the several years we've been going to this location and not once have I ever had a bad experience. Today was that day. I ordered 4 smoothies but 2 of them which were a razzmatazz were so weak it's disappointing. The clerk that took my order was awesome however the one who made my smoothies needs more training. My drink was good, but the customer service could of been better. Walked in and didn't get greeted, with 4 employees working, not a single hello, they were to busy talking among them selves, along with 2 of the employees with there back turned from the register. Stood there for awhile untell finally, who I believe was the manager nodded to one of the workers to help me, one turned around and turned away so there other worker just turned around and decided to take my order seeing that no one else was willing to do so. This is a review for the place/service compared to other JJ's. I'm pretty much hooked on Jamba Juice, such that I wonder if I can go (or afford) a two-week diet just on these. Another story ... Anyway, I live closer to the one in Union Landing (which I frequent) but take my kids here when we're in the area running errands or attending classes. Today was one of those times. It's a small locale, and it gets quite crowded (only limited outside seating). So it's usually stuffy when I walk in, and smelling a bit like a gym, or worn socks. Maybe that's why they don't put tables in here. Since I'm half-deaf I would never be able to work here (or I'd probably get too many complaints about wrong orders). Which is why I originally could appreciate the girl getting my "16-ounce Strawberry Raspberry Banana Fit n' Fruitful" order translated into a Orange SRB juice, which she also made. My son's order was okay, but I was looking at this very liquidy drink that was supposed to be a smoothie and asked whether it was the above quoted drink. As you already know, it wasn't. But what irked me was that she was visibly put out at the fact that I corrected the order and she needed to make another one. Miss, I get that you are busy, and it sets you back when you have to re-make an order. However, sadly, you are in the food service industry working in customer service. And just like Filipino elders, even if they're wrong, they're still right. In this case, that would be the customer. Seriously, it's a good thing I am addicted to this damned place. Do not eat here, there are fruit flies everywhere, which means there are things not being cleaned properly. The first thing I noticed was the trash in the lobby. No doubt the customers fault but isn't it the staffs job to keep it clean? I observed the staff after ordering and the woman at the register did not wash her hands after handling the money and debit cards, then proceeded to handle fruit for a drink someone had ordered. I watched my drink go down the line and from the side of the sneeze guards you can see into the fruit bins if you're tall enough. Disgusting. There was fruit mixed with other ones from what is probably them carelessly scooping and dropping fruit in other bins. I watched the woman put her hand into the ice and pull out the scooper by the handle, then she dropped the scooper back in the ice where the handle was then touching more ice. Hope you like the flavor of dirty palms in your smoothie. Needless to say I didn't drink the smoothie. Besides that the surfaces of the counters looked filthy and no one wiped it down after pouring the drink. I will stick to my ninja at home, Jamba Juice is germ central. read more

I'm never returning to the Pacific Commons Jamba Juice location in Fremont ever again. The manager is super rude and unfriendly. They don't fill up your cups fully and when I confronted them about it, they said they were going to charge me to make more. Seriously?! Today is Mother's Day and I came here to get my children smoothies. I told her I'm not happy so she gave me a refund but threw away the smoothies that were meant for my kids! She said the smoothies go in the trash because I wanted a refund. She also has a huge nose ring right smack in the middle of her face which make her unprofessional looking for having a manager position. Don't bother going here because on top of experiencing this unprofessional customer service, the cashier was rude and I had to wait 20min for my drinks that were not even filled to the top! read more

3.5 STARS for friendly service and attitudes but once again, another Jamba that does not do wheatgrass! My goodness...what does a man need to get me some! It's sort of a bummer because I can understand that there is only limited counter space. Another bummer that visit was that they didn't have any yogurt for my Strawberries Alive smoothie. This review is for the Whirl'ns Frozen Yogurt: I tried the Jazzy Java Chocolate flavor with shredded coconut and organic granola. The yogurt itself was really flavorful, rich, and thick...the good stuff. For $5 for a medium size, they definitely don't skimp on the quantity (even better that I was using a Groupon for two fro-yo's for $5). It does take a while to make, since they have to mix together whatever flavor you're getting and then add the toppings -- no auto fro-yo machine going on here. Unfortunately, this Jamba Juice is CRAZY. It probably doesn't help that it's located at the busiest intersection in Fremont, but every time hot weather swings around, there is always a stagnant line out the door. I say stagnant, because the service is rather slow and the line never seems to move! Be prepared to wait -- this isn't a grab 'n go type of deal. read more

It's jamba juice and the drinks are good, which is what really matters. The location, the infrastructure and the setup of this location is more of a nightmare though. IDK if it is where the door is placed or what but the entry and exit ways are narrow, plus there is that border that directs the line that somehow makes everyone feel uneasy. Their blenders are so loud that you have to yell to talk to an employee or talk to the person next to you. I am always so impatient, ready to get my drink and run out the door. The environment is just not so enjoyable. And the parking lot is another story. I can't even count how many "almost" crashes I have seen. If all this doesn't bother you then this is definitely a good place to get your jamba juice. I'd rather go to another location and feel a little more comfortable before I pay bank for a tiny smoothie. read more

I love jamba juice... but this location is ALWAYS busy. Every time I go there it's packed, but only 3 employees working! I like to order my favorite.. the chunky strawberry topper - any time of the day.. & it always seems like the smoothie makers get annoyed to make it. I could see how it could be annoying to make it as it takes a lil more than just putting ingredients into a blender (cutting bananas, topping w/granola) and I always wait a ton longer because of this.. but I've found that my chunky strawberry is never made right at this location.. maybe cuz theyre always trying to find quicky shortcuts to making it? (I only had 3 small slices of banana in my topper last time!) Came here for the first day of my juice cleanse. I had a busy day and was out and about so this was my second Jamba Juice stop of the day. For lunch, we ordered the following: Beets, carrots, apples, kale and ginger - juice 4 Cucumber, apple, lemon - juice 2 $14 for 2 largest sized juices. Jamba should post their prices for the largest size. Enthusiasm is lost within workers. They don't smile. Positive: enough workers to get the job done. I'm not sure why this location doesn't like to do mobile orders but every time i make a mobile order and come in to pick it up i get the worst attitude and eye rolls from the staff. If mobile orders are such a problem to the staff, they shouldn't be offered to customers. It's completely unacceptable and unprofessional to be treated poorly for this. On a Martin Luther King day holiday with lots of online orders and a line of us... the line was a wait... but was worth it... the two workers were getting all online and the people in line orders fast once ordered. Every time I come to this location it's always dirty and even tho they are always well staffed there is usually only one person at the register and one person making the drinks and one person who is either talking to customers or attempting to clean the messy store.
