Also, they will only replace tea with water, which ice is already doing, so not sure what's the added value. The good thing is they have various combinations possible, so there is a chance you can make something epic. One Marshmallow, Lavender, Coconut, Black milk tea at full sweetness with boba later and... I was in heaven. Is it wrong to feel like I might be forever ruined? This boba tea shop was something! There were tons of other selections that I was tempted by - the salted caramel mango coconut green milk tea might be my next adventure. I recently visited this TPumps location and was surprised to find that they now have indoor seating. My last visit, about 1-2 years ago, only offered a to-go option, with the line and checkout process always outdoors. I'm not sure if they always had indoor seating or if it was just due to Covid protocols, but I'm glad to see that they are now a fully indoor boba shop. Having previously had a positive experience at another Tpumps location in SF, I expected the same here in Fremont. As someone who values treating others with respect, I would never want to make anyone feel the way I was treated during this interaction. A little empathy and basic respect go a long way. My hope in writing this is simply that no other customer has to leave feeling judged or disregarded over voicing a simple and genuine concern. I've been a loyal customer of T Pumps Fremont for about six years, ever since the pandemic, and my family and I visit very frequently--often every other week, sometimes even multiple times in one week. This has been our favorite boba shop, and until tonight, I have never once made a complaint. This evening, I purchased one of the discounted $3 drinks. After taking one sip, I noticed immediately that it tasted extremely sweet and honestly just truly unpleasant. I'm never one to be picky and I will drink almost any combo from this shop. Prior to this I've had many of the discounted drinks before and have never came across one this bad. I calmly and respectfully went back to the employee (short guy with a mustache) to let him know and kindly asked if I could exchange for a different discounted drink. I expressed this kindly, apologized for bothering, and made it clear how I rarely complain in general. The employee responded in a condescending manner, telling me that all discounted drinks are the same sweetness. I explained that I already understood this, as I often order discounted drinks, but that this particular drink tasted genuinely bad. Instead of acknowledging my concern or explaining store policy clearly, he was clearly annoyed and made me feel judged and as though I was trying to get something for free instead. He then told me there was nothing he could do, without clearly stating whether it was a policy issue or not. I fully understand if discounted drinks are not eligible for exchanges or refunds. However, the issue was not the outcome, but instead the dismissive and unprofessional manner in which the situation was handled. After six years of loyalty and this being my first complaint, the interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. All of the other employees I've encountered at this location have always been truly kind, welcoming, and friendly. Unfortunately, this one interaction has made me not want to return, which genuinely saddens me given how much my family and I love this place. I take full accountability in my choosing of the discounted drink; however, I'm truly disappointed for when I expressed my complaint I was met with judgement and dismissiveness. I'll be going to a different spot that gives me the kindness and decency that any person deserves, without having to worry about being treated like that again from this particular employee. I hope this feedback encourages a more empathetic and professional approach moving forward, as no one deserves to feel disrespected when voicing a genuine concern. read more

An overall good place to get some milk tea or fruit tea. 4 stars because it can get quite busy here as there is a local high-school near by. I personally cannot justify the wait time here as it can be long. I found the busiest times are near lunch and after-school hours--especially TUESDAYS!!! For all my lactose sensitive friends, the milk they use is lactose free. They have really good toppings and the honey boba is especially delicious with a good squishiness to them. The drinks here do run sweet as it is syrup based however you can adjust the sweetness levels. I always opt to get the lowest one offered. I appreciated that the staff told me that to be careful with the drink trys since they are notorious for being unstable with pumpbo drinks. Despite what everybody says about how unauthentic Tpumps is to milk tea, it is still some of my favorite boba out there and I crave it at least once a week!! However, a couple things are always the same no matter how many times I get it. The boba is super delicious, soft, chewy and sweet, but they give such a tiny scoop even if you purchase the larger size. The drinks are also super super sweet despite asking for less sweetener too. The sweetness of the drink is never consistent when I go even though I always ask for less sweetener, it's either way too sweet or it just tastes like milk. I got a small which was really really sweet & my partner got a large which tasted like milk (nothing) and we ended up just mixing them together to get the right amount of sweetness. Usually I would just let the ice of my drink melt to water my drink down, but all of the ice was already melted by the time I got to the car!!
