The service is god awful. They do not greet customers and just wait for you to say something first. After I ordered my first drink she rudely interrupted me and gave me my total without asking if I wanted another. I then ordered my second one and she chose to not speak at all after that. I stopped by my neighborhood Jamba Juice today and received great service from the young man working the front counter. I walked in super confused trying to figure out what I wanted while reviewing the new menu items since the last time I came. He insisted on helping me figure out what I wanted. He asked what type of fruit I like and I told him something sweet like mango, pineapple, or strawberries. He said he would make me something and if I didn't like it he would make me something else. He ended up whipping me up the best tasting White Gummi. It was really good and refreshing. It only took a few minutes and I was out of there with a smile. This location is the worst I've being to. I went in today for some Açaí bowls and they were not good, the açaí was already melted it was more like juice with a bunch of granola. There were 2 employees and the girl who helped me was rude, she had a really bad attitude. When I was ordering she literally was screaming. I don't understand why people who have a really bad attitude work at places where you have to work with people . I wouldn't recommend this location just go to a different one. read more

I really hate to write this review, but this is the third or fourth time I have received horrible service here, and I have to say something this time. First, let me begin by saying if you do not have time to spare, please don't come here. The parking situation is horrible, and the lines have always been LONG. The staff here does not appear to take any urgency when it comes to getting customers in and out of this establishment in a reasonable amount of time. As soon as I walked in, I saw the place was packaged and there were 3 people completing the smoothies, and one cashier. Immediately a woman walked past me, heading to the door said "Wow! Thirty minutes for a damn smoothie!" and stormed out. I waited in line for 10 minutes and there were only 2 people in front of me. Once I was at the register, the cashier "Montel" took his time assisting me. He went to the back and did something, he checked on some smoothies, and then he asked me what did I want. He never apologized for the wait. He never even cracked a smile. However, I told him my drink order and handed him my gift card. For some reason my card would not swipe, so he had to enter my gift card by hand. Well, this must've pissed him off even more because he then said to me, "This card doesn't work anymore. I'm gonna throw it in the trash for you. If you want another, you are welcome to purchase a new gift card at this location or another Jamba Juice." Uh, yeah, thanks, guy. Anyway, I went to the back of the location and sat down in one of the newly available seats. After about another 10-15 minutes, they called my name and my order was messed up. I sat and watched the smoothie maker spill smoothie all down the side of my drink AND toss out a lot of product. When I asked her where was the small cup for my daughter like I requested, she then poured about 30% of my drink into the cup while wasting MORE of the smoothie on the counter! WTF??? My cup was sticky, my drink was not even made well, and again, they offered no apology or anything to compensate for their horrible, horrible service. Worst experience ever with this Jamab Juice. Be aware of manager Montel Williams. I spoke with him regarding having this particular location coming to a community event. He was very Enthusiastic about coming and giving out samples to better educated the community on healthier choices. A week out from my event I contacted him to confirm his participation in and I was shocked when informed that he never said anything about passing out samples but would prefer to come and sale his product. I'm more disappointed that he would tell me one that and then true around and change his word. Shame on you Montel for your lack of following through on your comment. It's sad when your trying to do something good in the community and you don't get the support you need from those in the community. Don't take Mr. Montel's word on anything he says. I had the worse customer service ever. They have an employee here who is very disrespectful and she was very hostile to me. Another customer told her something and she yelled " what I thought you wanted it like that!!" She told me " what you want ! " I told her " you guys gave me cream cheese or something but I wanted vanilla yogurt (sorbet) this thing will give me an allergic reaction" she then snatched my cup and rolled her eyes and with hand gestures she did the movement like whatever. It was a busy Monday morning at this Jamba Juice when we walked in and it appears they had run out of bananas. The manager Montel Williams ran out the door to fetch them at a nearby grocery store. But the time we finished ordering our smoothies he was already back whipping them up with the other girl helping him. I wanted to take the time to note this Jewel that lies in the heart on South Central Los Angeles. I recently located back to Los Angeles from Washington, DC. I fell in love with Jamba Juice when it was located in on P st. inside of the Whole Foods market in Northwest, Washington , DC. As student of Howard University I would rush to Jamba Juice and grab me a Ramatazz, no bananas, sub lime sherbet, with Energy, Extra Thick, like fish sucking, Finding Nemo lips kinda thick. Well, to my dismay due to the cultural dynamic, that location of Jamba Juice as well as all others except for the one in Union Station closed in the Nations Capital. However, I still had hope in dreams of Jamba Juice, whenever, I would visit my Grandmother there was the Jamba on Slauson. I often would tell my friends in DC, "Im moving back to LA , because even on Urban Slauson and Western there is a Jamba Juice. Well recently, I have officially relocated to Los Angeles to take care of my Grandmother and guess what "I have Jamba Juice on Slauson". I want to take the time to note that on my most recent trip to Jamba Juice Felicia took extra efforts to ensure that I received my perfect Ramatazz, no bananas sub lime sherbet, extra thick was the same as my days at Howard University. Entered the store with one customer in front of me. Took about ten minutes before the cashier took my order. Didn't greet nor inform me about the juicer no working. I order a pomegranate smoothie and a cucumber juice. Still no one told me the juicer was not working. Waited another 20 mins. I had to ask about my juice. By this time I needed to use the restroom and it was out of order! Since I was on my lunch break needed to leave fast and they finally gave me my drink after 30 mins of waiting. Once in my car I drank it and it was disgusting! It was clear they did not use the juicer and I am disappointed and will never return to this store. Just moved into the are I like to stop by a jamba in the morning for breakfast. I've came here the past couple of days & it's truly the worst. One day I walked in & NO ONE was in the front all the workers were in the back. I was the only customer in the place. After about 2 mins & saying hello, a girl came out she looked at me, rolled her eyes, said nothing & started blending a drink. She finally walked over to me at the register I gave her the friendliest smile & hello, this forced her to crack a grin. I placed my order, I kid you not it took over 20 mins for them to make my order even though i was initially the only customer in the store, two people came in after me. I decided next time i would order ahead when i arrived 20 mins after I ordered it still wasn't ready I waited an additional 15 mins for my order this time only 2 other customers were present. And the gentlemen who took my order was absolutely rude & unfriendly. He was upset about another order a customer had place. He appeared to be the manager. My last attempt, I placed an order by phone, showed up 30 mins after & they hadn't even started making my oder!!! When I FINALLY got my order it was made incorrectly! He forgot to put the granola in my bowl & just gave it to me on the side in a cup and he's the manager! I will NEVER go back to this jamba juice smh! The smoothies & bowls are subpar compared to other jamba juices, the employees are rude, & they take entirely too long. read more
