Both were delicious! Our orders were fresh and tasty! The food I got was tasty and fresh! I bought the breakfast burrito (the meatless one) and an açaí bowl. Cost was around $22 total. The portions were somewhat large. I ate half of each item. The presentation was thoughtful imo, esp for a place I would describe as an upscale hole-in-the-wall. Friendly service as well. I'll def return to this hidden gem.

I'm so blessed and thankful to have 6 Avenue Caffe in walking distance. They have amazing lattes, juice and breakfast all day. Their green apple juice is so delicious and fresh. The breakfast sandwich has real tasty ingredients with the perfect balance. The burritos are also tasty. The owners are sweet and friendly. Don't pass this place by!

The food was pretty decent, my sandwich was missing avocado. The service experience was terrible. My co-worker and I both ordered to pick-up. We get there and my food is ready, she didn't ask for confirmation. My co-workers food wasn't ready and she shows the lady her order confirmation and she told her that it had been picked up. We said by who? She said some guy who comes in for deliveries and we both say impossible and show her that the order was for pick-up not delivery. The lady at the counter goes back and forth with my co-worker in English and Spanish to tell her the food has already been picked up and it must've been picked up by her husband. Huh? I thought you said you know the guy? Then she said no I don't. The man making the food comes out from the kitchen to join in the argument. Now it's 5 minutes later and the food could've been made by then. Finally they remake her food after asking to see the order (didn't you already make it) but not before a 5 minute argument that made no sense. It was really weird and extremely confusing.

The food here is amazing, The staff is kind and welcoming. Whenever me and my mom come in they say hi and when we leave they say thanks. The service isn't fast but they don't take a long time. They are well mannered, and respect. I've only been here twice but i can already tell i'll be here more

Nothing beats the quality and quantity of this place . The prices are unbeatable for what you're getting and you won't find this anywhere else in LA . It's most definitely a hidden gem . Updating my review to 2 stars, unfortunately. 6 Avenue became one of my regular spots for breakfast for a WHILE. I appreciated the consistency of the food and price point, even if the service really depended upon who was a the register. This seems like a family owned business, so I really wanted to support, especially as someone who lives in the neighborhood. After my last two visits, I cannot justify returning again. I order the exact same thing every time and always specify that I want chicken sausage with my house breakfast because I don't and cannot eat pork bacon. The first time they gave me pork bacon instead of what I ordered, I gave grace... mistakes happen. Today, when I called in my order and emphasized that I wanted chicken sausage, only to get the food home and realize they'd given me pork bacon again, I was done. The woman who is at the register also always tries to seemingly rush me out (who I am assuming is her son is much more friendly when I pick up). I get that this is a densely Latinx populated community and that is who mostly patronizes this restaurant, but I don't think that I should be treated differently, as a regular paying customer. I'm done. read more

Let me start off by saying the lady at the counter was friendly. I ordered an Açaí Bowl to go. I felt like it wasn't fresh or prepared at that moment. I have been to alot of places where they sell açaí bowls and this one felt like it had been in the freezer since yesterday or days ago. I love this little cafe, the owners are super sweet and attentive. You can tell they make all their food with so much love. The food is tasty, good portions and good price. This is my go to early in the morning breakfast place. You can order to go or come by and eat in person. I always have the spicy chicken sandwich but I also recommend the breakfast burrito, house breakfast or avocado toast. They also have other healthy options I have yet to try. read more

Normally, they include double shots of espresso, which may have tasted stronger for me since my husband wanted three shots, and I usually stick with two shots. The double mango matcha uses fresh fruit syrup so the mango flavor was not too strong and my drink was very creamy due to the signature mango cream on top. Usually, I would enjoy a creamy matcha but it made me more thirsty on a hot day. The service took a bit of time since they had to mix my matcha the legit way with the bamboo whisk. The matcha tasted like premium, ceremonial matcha since it was stronger and authentic in taste. Overall, both drinks were enjoyable but if I had to choose one, I would go with the orange espresso tonic even though I love mango matcha!

On my most recent visit I got a blue mint latte, which was both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. I'm also a fan of the pastries. I've had some sort of tomato pastry and a jalapeño cheese croissant, both of which satisfied whatever savory craving I was having. I appreciate the resources posted, the signage that's up, and the community events that happen here. The energy and intention behind this space are wonderful.
