I came here Sept 3rd & had a great 5 ***** experience.. extremely friendly service from the man & woman working, & received delicious smoothies made exactly as I ordered, quickly!! Unfortunately when I returned on Tuesday Sept 6th, it was horrible, I wish I had a video of all the bs. There were 2 women working & 2 people ahead of me in the order line that took forever. Besides the store being in complete disarray, there was nasty attitude & dirty looks to all from the smoothie maker, (the customer after me had a verbal disagreement with the employees). I ordered 2 large smoothies, both without yogurt. About 30 mins later when my order was finally being made, I watched closely to make sure there wasn't any yogurt added. The woman put 2-3 HUGE scoops of yogurt in both..when I asked if it was yogurt, both the women lied & said no. Then when I'm handed my smoothies, I received 2 SMALL, NOT LARGE smoothies. When I told the woman I paid for 2 large, CHECK THIS OUT...she poured both the small smoothies into large cups without adding more & walked away from me. I usually don't go to this location but was in the area for business, I'll never go back there again. Quality and service of Jamba Juice is really going down. Came in around 7:30 am and they only have one employee making smoothies for 6 people. Not to mention they had a sign saying they are out of fresh fruits so now I can't get a bowl. I have been to this location several times and their orange juice machine never works so they never have fresh juices. This place is the most horrible Jamba Juice. everyone here seems they don't want to be working and I went in asking if they took Apple Pay and they said no. Later I saw this Yelp posting and it clearly says they take credit card Apple Pay and android pay. It's not just that. last time I was here the drink I ordered mango a go go had like a trash scent. Literally a smell u would smell walking past a dumpster. I don't know if they were using rotten fruits or they were not cleaning the blenders correctly. We had them remake it and the same problem, so we got a refund and left. We went back again a week later and there were different workers so we thought "maybe it'll be different this time." I am an extreme Jamba Juice enthusiast. My favorites are: Berry Banana, Carrot/Orange Juice and the occasional shot of wheat grass. I sometimes feel empty if I do not have my usual Jamba fix. But today was another story. What happened to the Jamba Staff? I kid you not...my order was taken by a dude wearing a doo-rag. Um, didn't someone tell him that bright yellow shirts don't mesh with black doo-rags? And that's not the best part; as he repeated my order: "Aiight, you be havin' a powa banana burry wid a boost of energy. Aight." I noticed a twinkle in his mouth... he had bling in his teeth! This Jamba Juice has a VERY young staff that seem unenthusiastic and under-supervised. I asked for Great Greens and the cashier wasn't even aware of that menu item. Sunday, May 22, 2021 about 11:40 AM. Walked into the store and was 2nd line. I could immediately tell by the body language of the couple in front me that this was going to be a bad experience. 3 employee's laughing and giggling while they prepared other orders. Never did they acknowledge the customers that were waiting. No "hello", "we'll be right with you", "sorry for the wait", nothing. As additional customers came in, the employees starting yelling, "if you've already ordered please wait outside". Their tone was rude, dismissive and condescending. Just a completely unpleasant experience. When my order was finally ready (at least 15 minutes later), a young man brought it out and called my name. Of course he just handed it to me, with no gloves and no "thank you". I absolutely hate spending my money where customers are not appreciated or where employees can't even fake common courtesy. Bad training, terrible employees, bad management and awful hiring. read more

This Jamba Juice usually provides exceptional service. I've been coming here for about 5 years now and it's always a delight. But today's visit was a little rough, hence the three starts instead of my usual five that I would give here. Line was out the door at no fault of their own obviously. They were also fully staffed. Lamar is also great in leading his team and smiles despite the stress of managing the restless crowd on a very hot summer day. My biggest qualm was the fact that the cash register was down - actually not a huge deal. But I couldn't log in my jamba rewards and I spent $12.35 on this visit. That's a lot towards my reward! When I asked the cash rep for a receipt to possibly log it later, he said I couldn't have a receipt and there was no way to log it anyway. Given that his name tag said he was in training, I still expected some sort of condolence for not being able to have a receipt OR a way to log my points. Hence the three stars. Five stars for everyone else, the kind service, and the sense of urgency. Just wish I could actually give you five stars on this visit but I can't. read more

Remember when Jamba Juice was basically a step up from Orange Julius? Where pretty much all you got were calorie-laden smoothies? Well, it's nice to see those days are over. The menu has changed for the better with actual fresh juices, and better, healthier ingredients and add-ins. Kale! Chia seeds! Greek yogurt! Sign me up! It's funny when people complain about the prices of juice here. Good ingredients cost more, not to mention they have to cover their overhead costs. Okay smoothie place--though consistency of their drinks varies here more than other Jamba Juices. The service here can also be erratic. One time there was a lot of customers in the store, and one guy was ringing up customers and making the smoothies while the two other workers seemed to be hanging out and not doing much of anything. This Jamba Juice is better than your average one. Why you may ask? Well somehow they make the smoothies just a little thicker and tastier. After making this a regular stop when heading into work the guys inside know me and don't even need to ask what I want. Sometimes if the line at the cashier is long and they see me in line they'll just start making my drink so it'll be ready when I pay. The cookie's and cream smoothie we ordered didn't even have cookie's. When we tried to have them fix them, they were less than helpful and tried to completely avoid us. I enjoy Jamba to an extent, I like their stuff. Today I entered this Jamba in Marina Del Ray and was welcomed by the contagiously heartwarming vibes of the staff. So much so that we became like little buddies, and now I downloaded yelp for the single purpose of writing about how wonderfully they treat all of their customers, behind their backs. They really sparked my heart! The kind ladies working there tonight introduced themselves as Ruby and Ailyn. These ladies seem to be changing the world simply by the way they are living in it. It's hard to write this review and not sound like a completely miserable New Yorker, but here it goes. This place is TOO friendly. At 8:30 in the morning, a "hello, how's it going" is just fine. But Jamba Juice is like walking into a broadway show, and feels like you're trapped in an episode of "Glee." People sing songs, they say "awesome" after everything you say or order, there's some kind of gimmick where everyone has to yell some sort of catch phrase on certain key words or orders. I feel like Im on a fuckin' game show; I just want my juice, bro's. Nobody needs this at the crack of dawn; Jamba needs to take down the "happiness" factor from an 11 to about an 8, or 8.5 It's the same thing when you go into 711 to get coffee, and they have like club music blasting at 7:30 in the morning. I feel bad for the workers here because it almost seems like they're being held at gunpoint to be perpetually over the top happy, like some sort of twisted Bob Golthwait movie plot. They all probably go home and immediately set kittens on fire or something just to be able to mentally adjust. The service is great, and I can appreciate the enthusiasm. But in a rare Yelp instance, it's TOO great. They need a wizard to come by and sprinkle just a *pinch* of "shit head" dust over the building to make it more tolerable & bring it down to a more relate-able, human level. I come here all the time because it's by my house. There is zero up tempo, the employees stand around and lack any type of hustle or customer service. There's usually 3-4 working there and only 1 person is making smoothies. You can just feel the energy in this place, everyone hates their job and they could care less about making people wait a ridiculous amount of time for one smoothie. I used to find Jamba Juice ridiculous. I remember when it was the new craze to go grab a smoothie after high school. I just couldn't understand how someone could consume the one size smoothie, and refused to buy one. I couldn't abide by the idea of wasting all that fruit! Anyway, since then, they've added the 16oz size, which is more manageable. I've always enjoyed the "strawberries wild", and never really get anything else. And since I've strangely become fond of the taste of Whey protein (not to mention aware of the benefits if you're working out), I usually get the free shot added. There's nothing wrong with this location, it's in a shopping center I usually visit. Everyone's been friendly and efficient. The only problem I have with Jamba Juice is that they use styrofoam cups...and I don't know where they get the fruit from. I guess I could be a responsible consumer and bring my own cup, or even ask where the fruit came from. But I'd rather just make my own smoothies. Nearby Rainbow Acres, has a juice bar too, super fresh and produce from the store itself. However it's much more expensive. read more

This is my first time at a Jamba Juice, recently we've been making smoothies at home for breakfast, the recipies are from the 10 Day Detox plan by Mark Hyman....Anywho back to Jamba, the staff was really nice and courteous. (going back tomorrow so I'll get the names to post a follow-up) Being that this was the first time, it took us a while to get the order strainght because we made a few changes. I apologized to the people waiting behind me and even they were gracious. I could complain about the time I came here and they were out of almost every fruit which caused customers to walk out as quickly as they walked in. However I cannot complain about my last experience. I only order a Razmatazz from Jamba Juice (that's the only thing I trust) and felt like a Sunday afternoon treat. Upon walking to the door there's a sign posted stating that they were out of oranges, strawberries, bananas... you name it. I still walked in thinking they had possibly restocked. Of course they hadn't. The guy at the register offered I tried something else but I refused all suggestions. Someone working the blenders suggested I try the Razmatazz but instead of strawberries using cranberries. I agreed and they knocked off about $1 of my drink. After receiving my drink I took a sip and was truly surprised. That sucker was good. I would have never thought that the cranberry substitute would be that delicious. Even my mom took a sip and thought it was good. I wish I could recreate that tasty treat for myself! read more

****VERY POOR MANAGEMENT**** I only go to this place because it is the only local jamba juice around. Last time I went there, there was only one person working! Seriously! There was only one person taking orders and that same person was expected to make all the drinks in the orders that he took! I asked him why there was only one person working and he responded that it was because of poor management! Although that was one example of poor management, this place is always extremely slow (even with more than one person working). Whomever owns this place should seriously consider hiring new management or more employees! They are SO lucky that people have the extra time to deal with this place. If you are in the area, avoid this Jamba Juice and go for some other type of drink instead. read more
