Striking out with Jamba Juice lately. This one was open at 725pm on July 2 (sign on the window says 8pm) but no one was in the front of house. I waited. A few minutes passed and suddenly a teenage guy appeared. He says nothing. He walked to the register, says nothing. I say hello, he says nothing. Wth? Are you mute, sir? Anyway. 1-12-2022 It's one of those Ho Hum days when the weather is overcast, the surf is high on the North Shore more so tomorrow with another swell coming in. Made a bigger than usual breakfast so for lunch, Jamba was the first place that came to mind. Before all this COVID business appeared, a Jamba smoothie and a banana loaf were my favorite duo items any time of day, many times a week. Recently I've started leaning towards Açaí Primo bowl with blueberries instead of strawberries. If it's not strawberry season, it's not red enough or lusciously naturally sweet to me. I like the granola on the top with coconut flakes and honey drizzled on top. It gives the blueberries an enticing sheen and the flavor, the perfect combo. Matcha, Orange Dream and Chocolate Mood are my fave smoothies-I'll never turn down an offer. Seems the banana loaf has diminished in size but you have to watch if they over heat it which may cause burnt edges or a side and become hard. The kiddies like the White Gummie drink. Tidbit: Did you know when the first of the 3 grandchildren were born I was asked what I wanted to be called. Grandma? Nana? What was my reply? They call me Gummie. read more

I decided to give this Jamba another shot! I started going every morning (on the days I work). I keep forgetting to ask for his name, but he's my favorite worker. He always greets you enthusiastically, and when he's busy he still acknowledges you. You can tell when someone sees you as just a customer, and when someone's sees you as a valued guest. After just one day of coming in, he remembers me & my order. The smoothies he makes are super good & the best thing is THEYRE CONSISTENTLY GOOD! This isn't my first time, nor my first bad experience at this location. There's no leadership or management here either. Seems like there was one was older than twenty in here. Last time I was here, my order was wrong, the time before that they tried to give me someone else's order. This time, the order was correct, BUT the acai bowl was half full. How do you measure these bowls? Isn't there a measuring tool that tells you how much acai, how much fruits to use? I've had half bowls at other locations as well. If the acai bowl is half full, then refund me for the other half that other customers get. Can this be considered a class action is they are consistently ripping customers off by filling half the container here and there? Who teaches these kids to staple the paper bags? A kindergartener? The bag wasn't even sealed or folded and just stapled all over the place. If no one can run this place like a proper business, the franchise owner should shut it down. I don't like writing so many negative reviews, but it's the only way to contact anyone at this business. I've tried contacting them through their website but their communication only works one way, from them apologizing to me and that's it. I can't start any conversation or reply. My wife loves acai bowls and can't find other local business that have them so we tolerate this business. Update: If I could give this place a zero star, I would. Again, zero customer service. I entered the store, no one greeted me. I walked up to the register to order, still no one acknowledged me. I waited a few minutes,a female approached the register (sorry I do not have her name but I can sort of describe her...she had curly hair dark hair, brown skin and a mole on her face). She seemed to be changing out the cash register paper or something. She didn't even care to look up at me. The reasoning behind such a low rating would be more of a concern regarding the conditions I've noticed in the store. I went in a couple of weeks ago and noticed that this location's air conditioning wasn't functioning. I received quick service and my smoothie was made in a timely manner so at the time I thought nothing of it. However, I dropped by a couple afternoons ago and it was rather easy to take notice of the uncomfortable heat. Upon expressing my sympathies to the staff I learned that the a/c being down had become the recent norm. If I could give a 0 rating, that's what it would be. First off, I'm a weekly customer because my son loves the smoothies; however, our customer experience is normally always disappointing. Either it's very slow service or having to ask for straws or a spoon when ordering an açaí bowl, and getting a snub behavior when doing so. As we entered, I noticed there were three workers, and no other customers. We were greeted by what seemed to be the day supervisor, which was great; however, we waited in front of the register for a good 2-2-1/2 minutes, until I overheard the "supervisor" asking a worker to help my son and I. Note, we were still the only ones in the place. The female worker then proceeds to walk up to the register and just look at me with a disgusted look, as if I was bothering her or she did not want to help me. She did not say one word...no greeting, or even how can I help you? NOTHING!!!! She just stared at me to say something. Now, tell me how this is okay???? These employees must be skipping their customer service training, because they clearly do not know what good customer service is. As an individual who has 25+ years of experience in the customer service industry, I was appalled at what happened today, as it is not how paying patrons should be treated when they are giving a place business. Although I'm sure it's nice that this location isn't crazy crowded after school hours. This one feels bigger or more spacious than TC location though, and the sun doesn't beam in here either. Everything else is pretty much the same as far as products offered. No complaints, it's within walking distance so definitely our go to for breakfasts when the kids have morning school activities. I waited for about 5 min when I realized no one was going to take our order...so I drove over here... this location is wayyyy faster. Our drinks were DONE and just sitting in the blender for almost 5 min while I watched the two girls WHO WERENT HELPING CUSTOMERS do anything BUT take our drinks and put them in cups. Twice I did an online order and it wasn't ready when I got there. The second time I asked them if there is something wrong with the online order and they said "we're not sure". I explained how I would order it ahead of time and would arrive at the pick up time (the second time was 20 minutes after ordering) but it was never ready and asked if she could let the manager know. She walked away and didn't respond. As I was leaving she and another worker said "have a nice day!"(it made me uncomfortable to eat my bowl because I wasn't sure if they did anything to it). Also, when I pick up my order (both times) they had JUST printed up the order AFTER I told them I'm picking up my order. First off let me say.. to the employees that were working today..01/26/19...if you know your bananas are over ripe and mushy.. why would you serve that to the customers? Giving this 3 1/2 stars. This Jamba Juice is much more friendly than the other Mililani location. Their smoothies also seem much thicker than the other one. You know when they pound the side of the blender to get the contents out into your cup, that is a good sign. I did visit once with my kids at least a year ago and they each ordered a smoothie. My daughter looked at her smoothie and promptly said "this isn't what I ordered." I asked the staff and all 3 of them stood around the cup looking dumbfounded. They then decided to remake the smoothie and it came out a completely different color. You would think they would know what the finished products more or less look like -- even my 8 year old daughter knew it wasn't the right one. Typical Jamba menu and pricing. I asked prior to placing my order if I could order one of the "new" items and get a different "new" item free. The cashier asked to see my coupon and said that would be fine. Before I could even walk away from the register the same girl I had issues with last time came over and said I needed to order an existing menu item to get the "new" item free. The cashier told her it didn't specify that on the coupon. The girl then preceeded to ask to see the coupon herself. I showed it to her and told her that I had this problem before. Not a huge fan of Jamba in general, but went in yesterday for my sister. I got a smoothie and she got a bowl. When the guy was pouring my sister's smoothie bowl, he noticed that it wasn't fully blended so he put it all back in the blender to mix for a few more seconds. I appreciate this attention to detail! Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because while there, I noticed one of the employees had really long hair, didn't put it up in any way, and wasn't wearing a headband or hat. She was walking around behind the counters, and while she wasn't in any direct contact with my and my sister's order, I still think it's a health hazard.
