Here's a valuable lesson I've learned about Jamba Juice: no two locations are the same. While the menu is the same and the ingredients are the same and the staff look the same, the drink could turn out perfect or like a liquidy mess with protein powder remnants in the bottom. It all depends on how busy they are, how many people are working, how green the guy or gal making your smoothie is and whether you pissed them off taking too long to order. Fortunately, this location has yet to fail in the drink-making department. It's nice to have a Jamba where they make what you expected. The lines can add up here considering its location in shopping central, so keep that in mind if you're in a real rush. read more

They completely messed up my order. On top of that they took care of everyone else's order that came in after. We didn't have that much food/drinks either. I also asked for something completely different than the sandwich they made me. They were out of a lot of stuff as well. Ah, Jamba Juice. Perky perky perky. Purveyors of perky. Would you like a free perky boost with that? I'm not sure what those employees are injected with prior to working the floor, but it must be highly effective, because those thousand watt smiles and willingess to wear funny hats for no additional pay can't come naturally. Add that to the thumping, vaguely ethnic music that blares constantly here and the pyschedelically colored walls, and you have the makings of sensory overload. Thank God the smoothies are good. I usually get a Strawberry Surf Rider, which features lemonade, strawberries, and a hit of lime sherbet. An original contains 490 calories and 1.5 grams of fat, which sort of indicates that you should really be drinking these as meal substitutes instead of as casual snacks. (Getting fat and dying because you drank too many oestenibly healthy smoothies could be embarassing.) But yes, it tastes good, really good, with an incredible deep red color and an equally incredible combination of tart and sweet fruit flavors. The Matcha Green Tea Mist is also delicious, resembling a green tea milkshake with aspirations towards actual health value. It'll certain caffeinate the heck out if you if you let it. The Acai smoothie is doubtless packed with antioxidants but tastes bitter and vaguely rank, so I'll let you be the judge of how interested you are in maintaining an antioxidant heavy life style. There's a variety of seasonal smoothies, so watch out for them. I especially loved the super-tart lime smoothies they offered the summer before last, so be sure to get one if they're on the menu. (And the Cherry Charger is pretty good as well, although the soy milk texture is...interesting.) I've never tried the breads and pretzel's and things, and they don't really look particularly good. And nothing can compell me to eat something dubbed a "Pizza Protein Stick." Trust me, the smoothies deliver all the calories you're gonna need anyway. Perky, happy calories. read more

I LOVE Jamba Juice... oh let me count the ways: 1. I love all the healthy/light options 2. You can have a decent meal for less than 500 calories 3. All food products have the calories, etc. on the menu. My fave meals for lunch include: Original Mango Mantra (250) and a Just Curmbled Brown Sugar Oatmeal (220) or Sixteen Mango Mantra (150) and a Mediterranean Yum pizza (320) The only thing I would change about Jamba is that they include a drive through so that I can get my Jamba fix without getting out of the car. read more

I work at the sushi restaurant in the same plaza. I have been back 3 occasions within a month and I do have to say this particular location has caught my attention. The customer service is on point. Usually greeted by at least 1 smiling face and order takers were always talkative, not just an "order. Total. Thank you" they always brought over my order instead of calling my name out which I was quite impressed with. As for the order itself they have always been made consistent and i had the chunky strawberry here twice which I loved because it was actually thick and not watered down like other locations. The customer service at this Jamba Juice is excellent. I visited the Alhambra Blvd location for a Tropical Kickstart (fresh squeezed oranges & mango blended over ice). The Alhambra location was reluctant to take my advice on how the drink is supposed to be made. The Arden location fixed my drink correctly and did not charge me for the new one. I visited this location on 3/17/2021 and it was the best experience I ever had. When I first came in all the staff welcomed me and were so nice. Im always indecisive so it took me a moment to actually figure out what I wanted. There was a young lady named Ashlee who helped me narrow it down, by giving me many options including their new blueberry lemonade smoothie! I don't often go to Jamba Juice because there is SO MUCH SUGAR in all the beverages. I probably go to Jamba Juice 1-2x a year, if that. I came here the other day with a coworker and had to do a lot of research beforehand to see what I would order that didn't have much sugar. This was tricky. I ended up getting a small beverage with no juice added and asked they sub the juice for water instead. The ordering process was lengthy as it was lunch time but the wait was ridiculous. I think I waited for 10-15 minutes. The parking here was pretty awful as well. I guess I came at a pretty bad time. read more

I was honestly disappointed with this Jamba Juice location. On the pros side, they are open later than a couple other jamba juices located around Arden area. On the con side, the 3 associates that were working on a non busy Wednesday night seemed unprofessional. I came with my roommate after eating chipotle. I ordered a citrus kick. Now there was only one customer ahead of us and they had already gotten their drinks by the time we had ordered. It took about 30 minutes for the 3 associates to make our 2 drinks. They also kept asking us to repeat what we had ordered. Also we heard 2 of the associates bickering back and forth behind the counter while making our drinks. I mean, I'm a pretty laid back person and I wasn't in a rush, so I was not so bothered with how long it took for our drinks to be made, but I can also see how other customers could have been upset with this situation. On top of that, I paid for a 16 oz, but was given like a 12 oz in a 16 oz cup and the citrus kick did not taste good at all. I didn't want to add to the anger I was sensing behind the scenes so I just left. Overall, I think the associates at this location could benefit more from classes on how to be professional and maybe some classes to brush up on how to make quality jambs juice drinks. Jamba Juice is one of the best selling smoothies around! they are healthy for you and delicious too. there drinks are natural and no sugar add :) They have these in my school every Friday and i just love them so much. Stopped in a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and got a drink. The place is usually very clean and there is an interesting menu selection. It is a great place to get a cold drink on a hot day I'm starting to get a little worn out on the sherbet though. It seems like there are tons of sherbet filled drinks and not enough fresh fruit options. Would like to see some other kinds of options for a drink base, maybe coconut milk or cashew milk. With all the other options out there the leaders in juice just don't seem to be the leaders anymore. This is a great place to go to pick up lunch. Whenever I'm craving something sweet, I opt for Jamba instead of Cupcake Craving. Jamba is pretty standard wherever you go and the location for this particular one is nice, although the parking lot here absolutely sucks in my honest opinion. One time, they called my name for my smoothie and the guy in line behind me took my freaking smoothie! When they realized this had happened, they gave me the one that was supposed to be for him (since he left with mine!) and made a new one as well. Two smoothies for the price of one? I am actually not a fruit or smoothie fan. I have been to this location twice however, once for a small strawberry bliss with added femme boost powder and I must say I actually really liked it. It was light and yummy. The second time, I ordered a large carrot juice over ice and it was good if you like carrot juice (which I do.) We were helped very quickly, it was very clean & upbeat. If you like fruit or smoothies you have probably already tried Jamba Juice and loved it. This blonde headed white female was joking and picking apart her black coworker telling him he needs a make over talking about his skin and making racial fun of his cultural existence. After I ordered and paid, I asked if I could make a substitution for one of the items in the smoothie, and they had no problem accommodating my request. In fact, they offered me several alternatives with a smile. They even gave my son a sticker and balloon, which made his day. If I could give zero stars, I would. We came in here on a Sunday and ordered our smoothies and had to wait 30 min to even receive them. Not only was it a long wait but they served other people that came in way after us before serving us and we had to say something before they made our drinks. And when we did say something, there is was no apology or anything. 30 min after I drank my smoothie, I got the worst stomach pains and other stuff from what I am guessing is food poisoning. My go-to Jamba Juice spot in the Arden area. Great customer service!! The employees are always super friendly, quick and are all about the details. They always offer to warm up food, drink holders, extra napkins, and follow through on any special requests! Love the $1 smoothie promotions. Drinks: My favorites are PB Moo'd or the Mango a go go. I like the fruit and veggie drinks as well. I want to try the coffee based drinks, but haven't heard good things about them. I still need to learn all the drinks on the secret menu - Try the Starburst drink. Frozen Yogurt: It was ok, should have been more generous with toppings. Go to Pinkberry next door. The other day I tried the new Acai Berry with sorbet instead of sherbet and was very happy with my choice, I think it's my new favorite smoothie in fact. I go into the JJ on Arden pretty regularly since I work close. Why is it that every time I go in there I never see the same person? High turn over? Lots of employees? It's weird to me. Also, peppy JJ workers bug the hell out of me. Worse experience at a Jamba Juice EVER. Not that other stores have ever had the best experiences. they tend to take way too long because I always only get just myself one single drink and I'm always standing there for ten or fifteen minutes. But this one takes the cake. I ordered a super greens drink with a collagen boost and wheat grass. The girl at the register asked if I wanted it over ice, and I said 'not if it's already cold'. After waiting over 20 minutes for my THIRTEEN-DOLLAR medium sized greens smoothie, I began to ask where my drink was, stating that the entire store was empty now, because even the people who came in after me had received their drinks and left. The staff was so non-responsive, I had to keep turning to different people to ask about my drink, until one of them just pointed over to the manager who was on one of the machines. I said "Is that my drink that she's JUST NOW starting to make?". The staff nodded yes, and the manager who clearly heard me, did not bother to turn to respond to me in any way. After waiting about another 3-4 minutes, that same manager brought my completed drink over to the staff-member near me to have it put into a cup, still saying nothing to me. That person then asked me if I wanted it over ice. I said, "I told the girl when I ordered it that I don't want it over ice if it's cold". She stared at me, and said, "so you want it over ice?". As if I'm supposed to be able to tell from looking at it whether its now cold or not. Frustrated, I repeated myself, "I said that if its cold, I don't want it over ice.". NOW the manager came over to give me a lesson about how when they are sitting in the refrigerator stored they are cold but this one something something blah blah blah...I just went blank because I could not believe she was giving me a lecture. I turned to the staff member and asked, "is that drink warm?". She shook her head yes. I said, "so then please put it over ice". To later come home after that outrageous experience to find that they over-charged me to the tune of THIRTEEN DOLLARS!?!?! Are you kidding me?!?! Not only will I never visit THIS Jamba Juice anymore, I will not visit ANY Jamba Juice anymore. Overall, Jamba Juice is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth and not feel guilty about it. Sure, it may be a little high in calories for semi-frozen juice and fruit but as a foodie nutrition nut, I know it's much better than a soda because we all know "fruit is nature's candy." What's great about Jamba is that they have a menu in brochure form to tell you about every selection and its ingredients--for those with food allergies, this is super important. And for those counting calories, they list all the calories for each drink at each size. A few of my faves are the Coldbuster (citrusy/tasty and good for boosting your immune system!) and Razzmatazz (purpleish looking but the berries, bananas & orange sherbet together taste UH-mazing w/o being too sweet). Have not tried the food yet here but those pretzels always look so darn tempting! I know they're coming out with a coffee, which is interesting. I know everyone's competing with everyone else and it seems like Starbucks and Jamba are kinda blending into each other as far as products being served. Will update review if I ever partake in Jamba food... but no cheers or jeers from me! FOR THIS STORE: The employees are perky and friendly. Sadly, I think this place is understaffed at inappropriate times. I came here recently around 9:30 a.m. and there were only two employees with at least half a dozen people waiting for their order or waiting to order. I didn't hear anyone complain though. The girls working at the time were super apologetic and friendly, especially since the drink I ordered couldn't be made as listed. No biggie! Nice and refreshing for such a hot summer day in Sacramento! My friend and I drove all the way from his apartment to Jamba just because the original coffee house we wanted to go to was closed. Boo. I got an all fruit smoothie, peach pleasure (or something like that), while he got the citrus squeeze. The all fruit smoothie was refreshing, and I felt much healthier than drinking one of the regular kinds of smoothies. However, it wasn't as thick as the original smoothies because of the lack of ice cream. It seemed more like a thick, cold juice rather than a smoothie. Small little place like any Jamba Juice except there's a major street right in front of the store. There's an island with a couple of patio tables and umbrellas, but can you smell the smog while enjoying your smoothie? Delicious isn't it? I ordered the large Orange Dream Machine and split it into two small cups. Usually, both cups would be full, but at this location both cups were only filled to 75% full. The smoothie was thick and better than some other location where they fill it full of ice. There's a dilemma here-- quantity or quality? I have no complaints about this location. I ordered the Cookies and Creme Power Protein Smoothie. I'm not sure I would order it again, but it wasn't a bad smoothie whatsoever. I liked how they have now implemented daily deals. I happened to go on "Thirsty Thursday," which allowed me to order a medium drink and upgrade to a large for no additional cost. I wasn't a fan of the fact that I paid nearly $7 for my smoothie when I remember only paying around $3 in the past. Plenty of parking, clean building, and convenient location on the corner of Howe Ave and Arden Way. The few times I do go to Jamba Juice these days, I would come back to this location. read more

Often times i love jamba juice... but this time was a little different. First off, let me say. The greeting when i walked in was pleasant, but i was soon to realize the worker who had greeted me was a bit aloof. I don't want to state any names, but his started with an ".." and ended with an "...". I ordered two smoothies; no lid no straw. At least that part they got correct. But the consistency. ALL WRONG!!!!' one smoothie was thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. the other was thinner than a slice of paper. Multiple chunks were found. I'd say i'm disappointed to say the least. Three stars was generous, since i could not give two and a half. just to summarize: there are three people currently working. none of them have satisfied my smoothie needs. one last complain: this unnamed culprit did not tell me the total of my order. i had to look for myself!!! Smoothies were great. The crew on staff at 3:35pm on 3-1-2020 though were completely involved in their own conversation even while taking hour order, made two large smoothies in one bender and the second one that one of them pulled down and had their hands on to make my second drink was not used so he put it up on the drying rack after touching all over it with his hands without re sanitizing it. Was in and out in five minutes however what I experienced today was very off putting. Sad because I'm a regular here. read more
