I'm not a huge smoothie fan so when I stop by Jamba Juice, it's usually at the request of my husband or daughter. This location is on Marconi and Fulton Ave - in the same parking lot as Trader Joe's and next to Jersey Mike's. I popped in last night at their request again and ordered a Mega Mango, Frozen Hot Chocolate and their new Empanadas. They both enjoyed their drinks and my husband said the Chicken Empanada was decent for it being from Jamba Juice. It was around 6pm when I arrived so I was the only customer - service was friendly and quick. The inside was fairly clean and I noticed immediately how cute the "wet floor" caution cone was because it was shaped like a peeled banana. I will say that the prices at Jamba Juice have gone way up - $9 for 2 Empanadas? Each smoothie is like $10 now...? Not sure if it's worth it anymore. read more

Smoothie was delicious but why was it $9.50 for a small??!! Jamba really up'd there prices! A delicious jamba bowl is now $13.. crazy! I always have a pleasant experience when I visit this store (which I do often). When ordering on the app, I occasionally encounter a glitch that doesn't let me order the extra boosts that I want. Today I called this location on the phone and Jada helped me make my order right. I appreciate the employees and try to tip them in kind. I love Jamba but this location is Run by kids who lie after getting your order wrong. Vanessa/victoria needs to learn to apologize for not doing substitutions minutes after they were requested. She went from "i made it right" to "i told her to do it" when i responded "but you said you made it" she hung up. Extremely unprofessional, I'd expect better from a Jamba Juice. I ordered online, a day in advance. I got an email conformation. I decided to call the day of my pick up to make sure they had my order. I'm glad I did that because they didn't receive it or miss placed it. The girl I talked to on the phone was very helpful and made sure my order was ready for me when I got there. She asked if I was going to need a box. I told her yes. I thought it was supposed to come with one, I bought the 15 pack for my daughters soccer team for her birthday. When I got there all of the employees greeted me. They had my order ready and boxed up for me when I got there. She even asked if I need help to the car. The employees were very helpful. Parking available in the shared lot. Hand sanitizer dispenser by the door. Clean interior. No seating indoors, but there is some outside. Almost empty with no line at the beginning of the lunch hour on a weekday. I ordered ahead of time on the app, and my order was just about ready at the estimated time provided. The staff was quick and relatively friendly. I tried their new tapioca boba in a smoothie. Personally, I think that boba does not belong in a smoothie and is best paired with tea. The tapioca didn't taste like much, and the shape of each boba was lumpy and small. I'm not a fan, but I'd be willing to try their popping boba another day. The cheddar tomato twist smells better than it tastes. Dry and not much tomato sauce inside, which was a bummer. The turkey sausage and egg breakfast wrap was pretty good. I opted for no hot sauce, but I would suggest adding it to anyone who is okay with spice since the flavor of the wrap gets old. FOOD - Carrot Orange Fusion - orange juice, carrot juice, bananas, mangos, chia seeds, soy milk and nonfat Greek yogurt. This smoothie has a really strong carrot flavor. I fixed it up by blending it with strawberry yogurt I had at home which masked the carrot juice a little bit. Next time I'll stick with my usual White Gummy Bear even thought it probably has 2-3x the calories. Lol. 3/5 - Tropical Pitaya: blended non-GMO pitaya. Sweet and tangy. Even though I only sampled this smoothie, I definitely preferred it over the Carrot Orange Fusion. 4/5 SERVICE Excellent service! The young lady at the register was super friendly. I came in to purchase a gift card, not knowing they were having a promotion (free small smoothie with gift cards greater than $25). Pretty awesome! I've been watching my calorie intake so she helped me pick the smoothie with the least calories. She also offered me a sample of their new Pitaya smoothie. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. What's not to love about Jamba Juice! To my delight they have Acai Berry Bowls! (I think they call it something different.) Not only does it have an acai berry smoothie, but it also has fresh blueberries, strawberries, and bananas then topped with granola and honey. We first discovered these Acai Berry Bowls in Hawaii. The first time I had one of these delightful fruit bowls (from Jamba Juice) they used frozen acai berry smoothie. Which totally changes the taste of this delicious bowl. Especially one in particular, an Ariella I believe. I've even had clients at my job have the same complaints about this individual. The manager is a joke. She doesn't care about the fact that her employees can't fulfill orders correctly and when I called to speak to a manager about my order she said "hold on," put the phone down but not on hold, clapped and began laughing. Then when she finished laughing she came back and sarcastically said "I am the manager." When i said what happened, she chuckled and shrugged off the issue. I just have to say that I never have a bad experience at this store. All the staff are so darn sweet and respectful, which I have not seen at some of the other store in the area. They are always in stock of the ingredients for whatever smoothie I want, which most of the other stores in the area seem to always be out of something. The store and bathroom are always clean and there is never more than a short wait as they are very speedy. It was a Sunday afternoon when after shopping at Trader Joes, I needed a pick me up, cause I was left sitting in my car for an hour waiting for an audition which never happened. I just wanted to quickly get my drink and take the 1.5 hour trek back home. Seeing that it was the same kind of Jamba Juice as all places. It was clean, neat, a little small. There were only two employees and I felt bad for them since there was a surge of people after I came. I didn't get my drink until 15-20 minutes after I ordered and the people after me got their drink first. I got the new 3G energizer drink which I realized...I'm never getting Jamba Juice again since its so sugary. I saw how the workers were making the drinks...it was pretty sloppy work. This is my main jamba place I visit and usually the service is great but today was horrible. I came in and there was only one other person in, I figured out later from Jamba employees that she worked there by their conversations. When I walked in they did not greet me, just looked at me then kept talking to their coworker. I was in line waiting at the register to order when they received a phone call and Maddie, the shift lead on the reg, took it. There were 2 other just continued to talk to their coworker while I waited. There were no other people in line or waiting ahead of me. When she got off the phone she said to me "I'm actually gonna help the girl behind you first one second", talking about her coworker...who already had her food?? I guess to give her a refund? Then continued to talk to her as her coworker was leaving the store. When I finally got her attention to take my order she didn't apologize for the wait or anything just took my order. I love Jamba Juice. This review would of been five stars, except for the following reasons (based on this location): 1) The flavors at this location are never consistent. Not that they don't taste good, they just aren't consistent. 2) Some days, the drinks are runnier then others. 3) I saw a teenage boy trying to clean a orange slicer with a knife. 4) I can't stand the parking here. You are always at a high risk for hitting a car, a person, a pole, or a box. Narrow roads with sharp angled parking spots, including TONS of blind spots is no bueno. Regardless of those negatives, here are the reasons i love what Jamba Juice is typically synonymous for: 1) Sweet, fruit, icey, yogurty, awesomeness in a cup. Seriously, these things can replace a meal. 2) The pomegranite pick me up & orange dream machine. If you've had the orange dream machine, and it sucked, send it back! They did something wrong! When done right, it almost tastes like those cream filled orange popsicles, except tangyer! 3) Their wraps (especially that chinese one) aren't bad! 4) Quick service 5) Clean location 6) Friendly customer service.
