After pulling my tooth, while waiting for next step to be scheduled, she terminated my treatment. This is what happened. I was unhappy with one staff person X. But I assumed I would not have much continued interaction as she was the billing and intake person who presented the individual expenses. So I did not complain. Unfortunately I had 2 more bad experiences with X. One re scheduling cleaning (totally separate costs and billing from the implant). I cancelled, was expecting return call. Unfortunately X was in the loop and she lied, made up excuses. So Ms P called me. She asked and I told her, in detail, step by step, about my bad experiences with X. She lost it. Turns out she trains the staff. She was deeply offended and started yelling and gaslighting me. "That didn't happen", "that couldn't have happened", " I can tell by your attitude on this phone call that you are just making it up". Are you kidding me? I was stunned. These are the things that "could not have happened" during first encounter with X: 1) I asked X to lower her voice as she was talking really loudly in a small room 2) she handed me stack of papers to sign. I asked her questions about some of the expenses, she became impatient, got up and stood over me. 3) she started to pull papers away as I was signing but was impatient and pulled away papers before I could finish my signature. 4) she made it clear that I needed to sign everything that day. At this point it was clear to me that I needed to take home this stack of papers and review before signing. She told me if I signed everything that day the office would provide me, for very low cost, 2 anti anxiety pills for implant procedure. Otherwise they would cost me over $100. 5) I immediately pulled up Goodrx, saw they were less than $10 and her response was "you can't trust Goodrx". I took papers home, signed, brought in next day. At end of this phone call Ms P abruptly terminated my implant treatmentl. THEN she sent me: 6) Letter stating it was MY decision to terminate 7) check for $300 when they had over $1,000 of my prepayment $. In Santa Clara county this is business fraud. Have contacted SCC district attorney, SALA elder law help, and am finalizing on line complaint to DA office. Bottom line DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this practice. I am leaving this review for 2nd time because I dont see my other review and fully expect it was removed. Read other negative reviews re billing. Do not believe any response that states this did not happen.

He told me that I needed 3 implants. I was provided a treatment plan of almost twenty thousand dollars and a consultation fee of almost four hundred dollars. I explained to the billing person who is different than the office manager that I was assured that the consultation is complimentary and at no charge to me. I declined the treatment plan due to my budget. Then, they sent me the billing for my consultation claiming that Delta Dental reimbursement was insufficient to cover the consultation fees. The dentist office repeatedly called me and sent me to collection for the balance amount of $200+ dollars. DON;T TRUST THIS DENTIST AND THE OFFICE STAFF. They take the time to answer questions, explain things clearly, and make sure you're comfortable the entire time. The facility itself is pristine, clean, modern, and really well kept. You can tell they take pride in what they do. What I appreciate most is that they're honest and efficient. They don't try to upsell or push unnecessary work, which is rare. But at the same time, they go above and beyond when it comes to customer service and care. It's that perfect balance. They're also super on top of reminders and notifications, which makes staying consistent with appointments effortless. I'll absolutely keep going every 6 months, no question and I recommend them to pretty much everyone I know. 10/10 (minus one point for parking but we forgive them).

After a year of regular visits and spending $13,475 at Cardinal Dental, I was left with two botched…read moredental implants and a poorly done crown by Dr. Kalinowski, along with a failed apicoectomy performed by Dr. Roberts. Throughout that year, I endured constant pain and infections, which Dr. Kalinowski frequently dismissed as ENT problems, nerve issues, or systemic disorders--all of which were refuted by other doctors. Dr. Roberts misdiagnosed my condition as TMJ disorder and recommended Botulinum toxin injections, which would have incurred even more costs. Despite my severe pain and Dr. Kalinowski's refusal to address a loose implant cover screw, he just pushed the cover in, which caused severe pain because the soft tissue pinched between the implant cover and the implant. I eventually sought help from an ABOMS-certified surgeon. The new surgeon said that all of my problems were caused by the immediate implant, which he never performs due to the high risk of infection, as well as a loose cover screw and a poorly done apicoectomy. The new surgeon had to fix the loose implant cover screw and clean the dead tissue between the implant and cover screw, clean the other implant, extract the apicoectomized tooth, and general dentist had to replace the oversized crown that had improper anatomy. After these procedures, my issues have been resolved. While the staff initially appeared friendly, they quickly became unfriendly and defensive when I voiced my complaints. I requested a report along with the implant stickers, but I only received the implant stickers and not the report. When I requested a copy of my X-rays, I received an empty CD and had to call the next day to finally obtain my records via Google Drive. Additionally, some employees were noticeably noisy and loud, which was unsettling during surgeries. Overall, the office seems more focused on profit than on patient care.

I was super nervous about the whole process, but Dr. K did everything so well and so fast, and I barely felt anything! Yesterday was my second visit, and he managed to reopen two old implant sites to attach abutments, extract a tooth, do a bone graft, and place 3 implant and all in one go! I only felt a little discomfort for a few hours after getting home, and then nothing at all. Dr. K is incredibly skilled.
