Not on my part. He just didn't want to honor his word or pay $750 to get the sensor fixed. I paid $22,000 for my Subaru from them. They buy cars reasonably priced that have been wrecked and have them fixed up. I'd say they made a hefty profit and should have kept their word. Bluntly put, he got greedy and lied.

I drive an older Powerstroke diesel and they have kept it running great for 14 years now. The folks at Campbell are always friendly and helpful. If you have a question they answer it and will explain anything you don't understand. You can't beat "The Works" a deal from Ford for routine maintenance it includes checking and filling all fluids, oil and filter change and 4 tire rotation for $39. It is a great deal and you never have to wonder if these folks are cheating on the tire rotations they do it. I have had other service centers who used to service a company vehicle that did not. I used to have to mark the tires to see if they had been rotated. I trust Campbell Ford to do the right thing and be pleasant when they deal with you.

Brought my car into this establishment for warranty work. When i got the car back, It was making a…read morebad noise and shuddered while breaking. First I was told by the service adviser "Dean" that he had several people drive the car and was not able to replicate the noise. I came back to the dealership, and drove both "Michael" and Dean separately in the car less than a mile total and was able to replicate the issue for both parties. Dean even noting "thats confirmed" on the drive. We got back to the shop and he said he would have his top tech take care of it first thing the next morning. I reiterated that i planned on taking my family on a vacation that weekend if it wasnt fixed by the the weekend to let me know as soon as possible. The next day late in the evening i got a call back saying they had their top tech look at the brake pads and rotors and they are fine, and their recommendation is to run it as is until something breaks. He also noted that the issue was well documented so should it become a problem later on it will be covered. I was annoyed at this but not overly so because there was to be written documentation showing they were unable to find the source of the defect. Michael just being a cashier and performing pickup and dropoff duties didnt have much authority, but even he noted that if it was his car he would be throwing a fit as the problem the car was experiencing was very noticeable and unsettling. However, once i received the work order, the work order stated "unable to verify customer concerns, No issues found" and mentioned nothing about that audible noises and shuddering that multiple employees were made aware of and acknowledged. This is where things began to go downhill. I went back to Dean, being very familiar with legal documents and statements. and made issue with the statement presented on my work order. He was immediately setback and became very irate and argumentative with me, not listening to a word i was saying, he simply kept repeating that no issues were found and that is what was on the work order. when i asked him about what he said over the phone, he read the words on the paper again slower (as if i was not intelligent, or illiterate) I then asked him if the car breaks down on my vacation trip then what, his response thats your problem not mine. then when i asked why he has such a bad attitude with me , he said this conversations over "adios, get out of here, Leave!" then stood up attempting to physically intimidate me, and when i didnt leave he walked off into a restricted area. I then turned to another service advisor named TJ campbell, who was sitting in the desk next to dean. I asked him who deans manager was and he said: "i guess i am" and let out a little chuckle (apparently he thought a customer getting verbally assaulted was funny) i explained every thing that was going on and in the midst of TJ legitimately attempting to solve the issue i had, Dean came back for round 2, he interrupted me and tj talking and said "you said that we were working no where near your brakes and you know its not related" When i corrected him to what i actually said was " i hate the be that customer, you guys worked on the timing case cover gasket, you WOULDNT THINK it is related at all to the breaks" at that point he threw his arms up and said "oh so you're just going to change your story" and left again. I went back to talking to TJ when i went further to explain I dont know how you go about changing that gasket if you drop the whole engine subframe assembly or go at it from the top, but there are also hybrid systems that are activated when breaking, and it may not be localized to a brake pad or caliper or rotor. it may have something to do with wthe hybrid system, and then finished with saying i dont know what the issue is but it wasnt doing before it came in and now it is, and the whole car is under warranty and deans "Solution" to just wait for something to physically break before youll fix it doesnt sit well, especially when it is not properly documented on the work order." john campbell then interjected into the conversation and said "sounds like you dont like the answers we are giving you, you know we are just trying to help you and we dont need you getting irate with my employees" to which i responded "no, i dont like that you are telling me theres a problem with my 30K car and you wont fix it. and i am upset, but i have not once become irate, or lost my temper or cool with your employees, ive not raised my voice and ive not belittled them in any way. even when your employee dean told me it would be my problem if the car broke down and stranded me and my family. which im sure would piss you off if someone said that to you." He then regurgitated the same lines Dean had, while saying : "itt sounds like" and "it seems like you just want to argue and dont want to hear what we are saying. maybe you should take it somewhere else, and said you need to leave NOW!

Went ahead and bought the car (my fault) knowing that it needed a new synchro since even with that it was a decent price. Was lied to regarding that as well as a few more issues on the car. Salesman seemed I knowledgeable, was told the title was being mailed but never received it. When I called the number on google for them someone answered and said "this is not select motor" then the next call went to voicemail where he said "this is Danny with select motor" after seeing other reviews I can also say these people should be prosecuted, and held responsible for their actions. Was stupid to go through with the purchase of this car, don't be me. Would rather buy form carmart than these clowns.

Upon arriving we dealt with Gary the sales rep and he was not honest and the problem was not fixed. Thankfully, my husband is a mechanic so caught it. The vehicle was also not as clean as Gary made it out to be. I did call and speak with General Manager about our experience who was absolutely amazing and very nice. The General Manager saved our experience and that is why we are leaving a five star review because he felt badly for the miscommunication and I expressed that if it wasn't for my husband, I felt like we would have been scammed. He listened it to our concerns and address the issue immediately going above and beyond I am still not happy about the long drive, but at least Manager cared.

And now I took it back because the check engine light came on they stated the head that they replaced were bad because the Melt tab stated the engine. well I drive this everyday and I would know if my engine overheated especially it has to overheat I think over 225°, so I would know if it had gotten hot by my temperature gauge or smoke coming out of the engine I would have had to pull over And now since they're saying that they're not honoring the warranty and my warranty company is not paying for it because they feel James River Jeep should pay for it. So I called Corwin Jeep, I called Chevrolet and just asked to general question regarding this and they say they would have honored the warranty since it had been only 5 months they would have went ahead and warrantied their product because customer satisfaction and one company said it could have been a faulty temp gauage but they would have still honored the warranty. Toni, the service advisor is one of the worst people you can communicate with because she doesn't know how to communicate. The first time on the job she would go four or five days without even give us update we would have to call and find an update or call and ask someone else to go find her to have her call me back This time it's Taken over 2 weeks and mind you I had to get a rental car because they don't do any loaners if you don't have a warranty or something with them so after being in a rental for two weeks and again her communication sucks ass, we've had to call we've had to text and then she'll come back oh well our texting system is down or well I called your number and your voicemail is full, no the voicemail is not even set up so how can it be full. I would highly advise against their service department. They replaced my transmission in 03/2025…read moreand left loose bolts and oil cooler lines just dangling. They had zero accountability.... I took it back after my mechanic did an oil change and discovered the issues. They still didn't get the everything tightened down after the second time. They lied to Stellantis by saying that there was oil leaking from the lines to get it covered under warranty. They still didn't tighten down all of the bolts and left some loose at the driveshaft/differential that were making a god awful sound and created a HUGE danger. Thankfully when I took it to Corwin Ram in Springfield (highly recommend them) and they fixed it correctly. Corwin waived the fee because my Ram warranty wouldn't cover it and James River Ram again took ZERO accountability. Corwin didn't want me stuck with a $300 bill for James River Ram's shotty work, which I am thankful for. I left a review on their Facebook page and now they blocked me. If you can't stand behind the work please don't do it, especially if you can't take the criticism. Ended up having to trade the truck in because I couldn't trust the work..... I lost a large amount of money and I am planning on exploring any legal avenues and to see if I have any recourse for this bad repair that cost me lots of money. (I have call recordings, emails and pictures to back all of my allegations up.)

An unexpected road-trip detour this morning, but definitely a worthwhile one…read more We had to make an unscheduled side trip to Pinegar Honda in Springfield, Missouri, for B1 service on our Honda Odyssey. It added about an hour of drive time to our trip, plus another hour and 15 minutes for the service itself, but we prefer to do it by the book, and thankfully our Honda service plan covered everything. To make our 8:30 AM appointment, we had to get up at 5:30 local time in Rolla and get on the road early. Much of the drive to Springfield was through nearly two hours of rain, so it was a long and very early start to the day. The good news? The dealership was excellent, the service area was clean and well organized, and everything was handled smoothly. A fun surprise in the waiting area was an on-site donut case featuring St. George's Donuts, a true Springfield institution. Katy St. George first learned to make donuts in her father's shop in California, and in 1971 she and her husband Charles sold their business there and moved back to her hometown of Springfield, where they opened the first St. George's Donuts at Grand and Glenstone. It was a neat local touch to enjoy a bit of Springfield history while waiting for the service to be completed. After a 5:30 wake-up call and a rainy drive, that was a very welcome bonus. We got out and looked at several minivans while another couple was also looking at them. We arrived about 55 minutes before they closed and no one came to greet us or the other couple. At least two salesman walked near our area and didn't say a word to us. One other guy literally had to park a van that had just been test driven back next to the vans we were standing near, and he walked away without saying a word to us. We kept looking and sitting in the vehicles we were interested in. I definitely wanted to take a test drive, but the salesmen couldn't be bothered to assist us. I will certainly not be chasing people down to give them my money, so back to Toyota we go, or maybe another Honda dealership. The two stars are just due to the fact that they had more than 1 minivan to look at. The customer service was non-existent.
