I only put one star because it wouldn't let me go on with no stars stay clear from this business I took my 2018 Jeep Wrangler in back in October they fixed a head,which in mind, it took over 3 weeks. my warranty covered it, and James River Jeep Chrysler said there's a two year unlimited mileage warranty for Thier parts. And now I took it back because the check engine light came on they stated the head that they replaced were bad because the Melt tab stated the engine. well I drive this everyday and I would know if my engine overheated especially it has to overheat I think over 225°, so I would know if it had gotten hot by my temperature gauge or smoke coming out of the engine I would have had to pull over And now since they're saying that they're not honoring the warranty and my warranty company is not paying for it because they feel James River Jeep should pay for it. So I called Corwin Jeep, I called Chevrolet and just asked to general question regarding this and they say they would have honored the warranty since it had been only 5 months they would have went ahead and warrantied their product because customer satisfaction and one company said it could have been a faulty temp gauage but they would have still honored the warranty. Toni, the service advisor is one of the worst people you can communicate with because she doesn't know how to communicate. The first time on the job she would go four or five days without even give us update we would have to call and find an update or call and ask someone else to go find her to have her call me back This time it's Taken over 2 weeks and mind you I had to get a rental car because they don't do any loaners if you don't have a warranty or something with them so after being in a rental for two weeks and again her communication sucks ass, we've had to call we've had to text and then she'll come back oh well our texting system is down or well I called your number and your voicemail is full, no the voicemail is not even set up so how can it be full. She lies, she's unprofessional she tells my husband "oh man man there's nothing my hands are tied man" He's not your man. Very unprofessional talk. So I have filed a lawsuit against James River Jeep. No wonder this company has only a 2.1 Stars it should be 0.0 I'm warning you Jeep owners or anyone else do not go there for service go to Corwin or Reliable Chevrolet on Campbell. read more

I would highly advise against their service department. They replaced my transmission in 03/2025 and left loose bolts and oil cooler lines just dangling. They had zero accountability.... I took it back after my mechanic did an oil change and discovered the issues. They still didn't get the everything tightened down after the second time. They lied to Stellantis by saying that there was oil leaking from the lines to get it covered under warranty. They still didn't tighten down all of the bolts and left some loose at the driveshaft/differential that were making a god awful sound and created a HUGE danger. Thankfully when I took it to Corwin Ram in Springfield (highly recommend them) and they fixed it correctly. Corwin waived the fee because my Ram warranty wouldn't cover it and James River Ram again took ZERO accountability. Corwin didn't want me stuck with a $300 bill for James River Ram's shotty work, which I am thankful for. I left a review on their Facebook page and now they blocked me. If you can't stand behind the work please don't do it, especially if you can't take the criticism. Ended up having to trade the truck in because I couldn't trust the work..... I lost a large amount of money and I am planning on exploring any legal avenues and to see if I have any recourse for this bad repair that cost me lots of money. When we went to go get our new vehicle, it was a nightmare. We ended up having to stay there all day long. It was hot outside. I'm so disappointed In the quality of service I have received from my "certified dealership" my car has been in twice so far. once for a major issue and in for 4 days, and now scheduled for a third time because my active lane management is unavailable and sign recognition is not working. The first time no loaner, second time promised a loaner and then it wasn't there when we arrived and now this third time mind you I'm scheduled for service weeks in advance they told me they "don't do loaners" and I can be shuttled somewhere in there shuttle. Youngblood lived up to its reputation in awful professionalism. While we were visiting Springfield, the Jeep's transmission went out on us in the middle of the night leaving us stranded. Once the Youngblood Chrysler dealership opened on Monday we were able to get it towed hoping they would save us from this horrible event. Upon arrival the mechanics were unamused and unwilling, passing us person to person. Finally one mechanic stuck with us and wasn't helpful in the slightest. Once we mentioned warranty he wanted us gone and said the repair could take up to a month and with NO RENTAL. We live and work in KC so this was unacceptable, we then just paid the enormous tow bill back to our dealership in Overland Park. The issue wasn't that big and the original dealership had us in and out in 2 days. Never give Youngblood Chrysler your business, they truly deserve 0 stars. read more

Absolutely dishonest people that will try to take you for every cent you have. Bought a truck for my business from them and the transmission went out. It was covered under warranty as well as a rental vehicle. Unfortunately I had to rent a vehicle that allowed for towing as my business requires a trailer every day. I knew it would cost me more out of pocket than the warranty would cover but never dreamed they would keep the vehicle for over two months and cost me over two thousand dollars in the rental fees alone. All said and done between lost revenue and rental cars, this incident cost me over 6 thousand dollars. The truck went into the shop on 5/15. I received a message on 5/23 that the torque converter was on back order holding up the rebuild of the transmission. Another text on 6/20 stated the same thing. On the 7/19, I received a call that stated they decided to use an aftermarket torque converter, and the truck would be ready in a day or so. If that was an option, why in the world would you wait two months to do it racking up rental fees? The transmission was covered under the factory warranty, and I had another issue that should have been covered under the extended warranty I purchased, so I asked them to look into that while they had it. They never mentioned a diagnostic charge but tried to charge me one when I picked up the vehicle. The issue is not being able to get heat out of the driver's side floor vent. They told me that it was caused by a clogged cabin filter and partially clogged heater core. The problem with that is, if those were the cause, there wouldn't be air flow from any vent, not just the one. The filter was pretty bad, but every other vent in the vehicle allowed air flow except the one. This more than likely is a blend door or a blend door actuator. That would have been covered under the warranty, and they would only be able to charge what the warranty company would be willing to pay. Instead, they quoted me over $2300 to change out a $25 cabin filter and either clean out the existing heater core or replace it. The heater core from an auto parts store is around $80. That would be roughly $2200 in labor charges to do the job. Never again will I own anything Chrysler makes, and never again will this dealership get a dime of my money. I will spend the rest of my life warning everyone I possibly can that these people tried to take me for every dime they could squeeze out of me at a time in which my wife is fighting for her life with brain cancer. What started out as a very good experience ended up unfortunately ending badly. I purchased a used vehicle online from James River and as part of the purchase the truck was supposed to come with a full tank of gas. Well low and behold when the truck was delivered it was empty. I called and spoke with the sales agent and was given the excuse that the gas must have been siphoned out, what! When I went back and looked over the pic's of the vehicle before I bought it the gage was exactly as it was when I received it. I'm thinking they forgot to fill it up and instead of owning up to it just made an up an excuse as to why it came empty. I was told they'd send a gift card to compensate for it but as of today, nearly 3 weeks later, nothing. Here I thought I'd found a dealership that was different than most. I never thought I would take my car to the dealership for services because I think the price would be so high and other many skeptic ideas . However, I received letter from Nissan saying that my car has a recall and I have to go to the dealership to get it fix and my closest dealership is Youngblood. I made appointment by phone call, the lady who answered the phone was nice. When I dropped my car off, it's take them a bit because there are many people came in at the same time. While I was waiting for free shuttle the front desk lady even asked me if I need any help! I got dropped off at work by the gentleman name's Bruce; was nice and polite. My technician told me that they will get my car done by 5 pm and surly they called me at 4:53pm saying my car was done. I picked up my car noticed that my car was washed, nice little card say thank you and free a bottle of water in my car!! I don't know if my car was fairly new, or it is my first time I take it in for service. I was pretty entreat by Nissan services. Now I'm considering going back for oil change! (Even though I have to pay a higher price than non-showroom). May be I will have to update this review again after I get the next oil change. My stepson brought his Jeep in for repair. He is away at college and I want to him to handle the situation on his own. He dropped the car off and asked to be contacted in the afternoon. He did not receive a call that afternoon nor the next morning. He called 3 more times in the next six hours and never got a response from the service department. This is his only mode of transportation and he lives 10 hours from his parents. Finally his mother called and spoke to the service department and they explain what was wrong with the car. When he called after his mother had called the service personnel was very curt to him. What part of not taking care of a customer at a young age do they not understand. The interesting part is my family has had jeeps for years and a graduation present of a new Jeep was possibly in the future. I brought my 2020 RAM 2500 with 36,900 miles into the service department at James River CJDR for my backup camera not working in late November 2022. Upon dropping my truck off they told me that I had a ton of transmission fault codes, however, there were no lights on my dash. They insisted that they check out the transmission and decided that it needed to be replaced. Knowing that this would be a long process I brought up that I was a Business Link customer. This program is set up when purchasing the vehicle and insures a loaner vehicle free of charge from the dealer that is equivalent to my vehicle so I could continue working. I went with RAM because of this option as I use my truck daily to pull heavy equipment. They did not honor this program and told me all they could give me was the enterprise rental that my extended warranty covered (a sedan). They should have known what this program was considering they are a business link dealer (it clearly shows online they are). I was told by my service advisor, service manager, as well as the sales manager that they didn't know what this program was and that RAM has never offered something like that. I was made to feel like I was making it up and delusional. After my service advisor did some research they then learned that this program was a real thing and in fact they were a Business Link dealer. I was told they could not pull up any of my Business Link information and from their side of things and told me I didn't have a Business Link account so they could not help me. This truck is the lifeline of my business and everyday without it was a financial strain. I reached out to the dealer and salesman that I bought the truck from (Corwin CJDR in Springfield) and they assured me that my Business Link account was up to date and all correct. James River CJDR never honored the Business Link program. DO NOT get service at this dealership if you are a Business Link customer. Once my truck was completed on December 30th 2022 I picked it up and it was filthy. There was grease/oil all over the hood and front bumper. Greasy handprints all over my interior and headliner. As well as oil all over my undercarriage that dripped all over my driveway. I have only taken my truck to James River CJDR from new for all the service and have had issues every time with them not snapping my hubcaps on tight and they fly off as soon as i get onto the highway. I've lost 3 in total since 2020 where they have had to order new ones and I had to go back to have them replaced. After all of this is said and done I was still charged the $100 deductible for my extended warranty to fix my backup camera because I was 900 miles over it being covered under the factory warranty. To say the least I am very disappointed in the quality of maintenance and customer service I received from James River CJDR. I do not think it's any one person fault but a systematic issue and lack of care for the customer. I took my 2007 Jeep Wrangler in to get a quote on replacing the Clock Spring & gas cap and ESIM sensor - all issues that my regular mechanic was able to identify but not fix. It took these people 2.5 days just to identify the problem and give me a quote. And the quote was $800 for a job that ANOTHER dealership quoted at $500. When I went to pick up my jeep, they tried to charge me $159 as a diagnostic fee. They ended up reducing it to $120. $120 and nearly 3 full days to confirm the problem I already knew I had. The service department is anything but. I am currently in the process of moving and staying in an extended stay hotel. Unfortunately my clutch on my Jeep went out. I could have fixed it myself if I had my tools and a place to work on it. Instead I had to use this stealership. First I got an appointment at 0800 on a Monday morning. I dropped it off the night before and wrote what was wrong with it and asked to be called with a quote before work began. At 1300, 5 hours after my appointment time I went up there. I waited around to speak to my assigned tech advisory Jeremy. He informed me they do not have the parts. He said he could check locally and get one. When asked about why nothing was being done 5 hours after my appointment time he said they did pull it in at 0800. I asked why I wasn't called to ok getting a part from autozone then instead of letting it sit. He apologized. He got on the phone with autozone and they had a clutch in stock. Told me it was 232.10. I agreed to use it. I then went home and looked up the clutches and found out they are way cheaper than he charged me. I called and asked that the receipt be given to me as the clutch has a lifetime warranty. I really wanted it because I knew he was ripping me off. He said the part number would be on the invoice and act as my receipt. And promised to call me if there were any more delays. I got a call about 1300 on day 2 that contained a couple excuses but made it sound as if my Jeep would be done by the end of the day. As closing time approached I heard nothing so I went up there. He blamed the machine shop this time. Said it will be done the next day. I asked to see it and he allowed. It was on a lift with the transmission out. The man working on it was out test driving a vehicle according to Jeremy, while mine has been there two days for a 5 hour book time job and is sitting around like it might fix it self some day. Day three rolls around and I finally get a call around 1300 that it is ready for pick up. I show up, Jeremy explains my invoice and shows me the part number on the clutch. NU1916-4 $232.10 looked it up on autozones website and it costs $128.99 talk about getting shafted. But I'm glad its finally done and I was able to keep my cool and not cuss anyone out. I go to get in it and my leather shift boot is torn off (see photo) my consul has a gouge in it and there are black grease marks on my seats and floor mats. I walked back in, told Jeremy to come look at it. He got his supervisor instead. They offered to clean the grease up and take the shifter boot off for the shop to repair so I could take my vehicle. By this time I am sick of them and the quality of the work. I let them clean the seats and told them I would fix the shifter boot my self to keep any thing else from getting messed up. And now I have a driveline vibration I have to figure out. Complete Incompetence. Edit: driveline vibration was my rear driveshaft falling off because they reinstalled it after losing the needle bearings and neglecting to put new ones in. I'm lucky I pulled over and disconnected the shaft before it went through the floor board and hurt my son. These guys couldn't get any worse. They also ordered a part for a safety recall for me and called me saying it was in. I told the girl I wouldn't let them touch my jeep with a pole, and told her I told Jeremy when I picked it up not to order the part for the recall. He did it anyway. My jeep is safer without them working on it. Even if it is free to me. Absolutely deplorable. New edit. There pos clutch job failed in 5 months. I threw in a $100 LuK clutch myself last winter and it's still running great. These guys are like AIDs for your car. They touch it hope you find a cure. read more

I own a 2017 Nissan titan that makes a horrible Whistling noise while fueling at the gas station I took it to the dealership to have it looked at and unfortunately they could not fix the issue and said it was normal for all 2017 titans. Then Shawn told me that they took two out and put gas in them and they made the same whistling noise. I just don't get it. It is not even about the money anymore.... it is the principal that Youngblood Jeep Motors Inc. gets away with screwing over customers.
