5 STARS FOR WADE! I cannot say enough good things about our salesman, Wade! If you are looking for a new vehicle, do yourself a favor and ask for Wade. He truly went above and beyond for me from beginning to end. He spent three days helping me figure out exactly what I wanted, and not once did he make me feel rushed, pressured, or like I was taking up too much of his time. Financing wasn't the issue--I simply had no idea what I wanted! I looked at different vehicles, changed my mind, and asked plenty of questions, and Wade was patient with me through all of it. What really says a lot about Wade is that he even spent his entire day off talking with me and helping me figure out what vehicle I wanted. He certainly didn't have to do that. That was his personal time, but he was still there answering my questions, going over different vehicles with me, and helping me make the right decision. I honestly don't know many salespeople who would go that far for a customer. And Wade had his work cut out for him because, at 59 years old, this is the very first Chevy I have ever purchased! I have always been a Ford person, and when I started shopping, I actually thought I wanted a new Bronco. Then I took a Bronco for a test drive. I quickly realized it just wasn't the vehicle for me. Once I drove the 2027 Chevy Equinox RS, there really wasn't much of a comparison in my opinion. The Equinox had a much smoother ride, I liked the features better, and overall it just felt like a better vehicle for me. And I have to say it--I think the Equinox looks better too! I absolutely LOVE my new 2027 Chevy Equinox RS! Mine is black with the red RS accents, and it is absolutely gorgeous. It rides so smoothly and has so many features that I'll probably still be figuring some of them out a year from now! I honestly couldn't be happier with my choice. When I went to pick it up, Wade had it completely detailed and ready for me. Of course, it was brand new, so I'm sure it didn't need much, but that extra attention meant a lot. It was spotless, beautiful, and ready for me to drive home. What impressed me most about Wade was that I never felt like I was dealing with someone who was simply trying to sell me a car. He took the time to listen to what I wanted--even when I wasn't quite sure what I wanted myself! He answered my questions, gave me the time I needed, and helped me find the best vehicle for me and my budget without ever pressuring me to make a decision. After being a Ford person all these years, I never thought I'd be writing a review saying how much I love my new Chevy, but here we are! Wade helped make a Chevy believer out of me. I will absolutely recommend Wade to my family, friends, and anyone else looking for a vehicle. And I already know this won't be the last vehicle we buy from him. My husband needs a truck next, and when that time comes, we'll be going straight back to Wade! My wife and I own a 2017 Chevy Corvette Z06 with the Z07 Ultimate Performance package. This package includes, among other items, the Z07 performance suspension and carbon fiber aero dynamic ground effects which leave the car with very little clearance. The importance of this will become clear soon. On 17 May I had an appointment at Ozark Chevrolet, Ozark, Missouri, to address three items. First, an oil change was due. Next, there was a small water leak passenger side, rear corner. Third, I wanted to get a 4-wheel alignment for the car to ensure the tires were wearing correctly. If you're a corvette Z06 or Grand Sport owner with these tires you know they are not cheap. I had the car at Ozark on time. Around 1pm I called Jody, Ozark's Assistant Service Manager, for a status check; she explained that they had worked on the window that morning but were not making much progress with that task. I requested that they move on with the other two tasks and if the car was still going to be completed on time and was told yes, it was. I went to Jody to settle the bill which was when I was told the window wasn't fixed, they couldn't get the car to align but I did get the oil changed. This was it for the entire day. I was a little flabbergasted about the alignment not being completed and was told that they couldn't get the rear to lock in once the front was "correct". They wanted to put it on the body shop rig to check for frame /alignment damage which, knowing the history of the car and owning it since it was new, I knew was ridiculous but I didn't see another path forward. I did not receive a print out of the alignment. Ozark's staff theorized that there must have been some damage to the rear suspension. They had the history of the car service pulled and noted the cracked wheel that happened almost two years previously. It was a factory defect that GM and I finally took to arbitration (they didn't want to cover it and GM parts was on strike). I paid a minimal fee ($100) to have the defective wheel replaced. Although Ozark began fixating on what happened to the car BECAUSE OF the crack the wheel, there was no damage to the car, neither underneath nor to the expensive carbon fiber skirting, (remember the car has very little clearance), from the Z07 package. The implication was that I must have hit something to crack the wheel thusly damaging the suspension. Clearly any such impact would have damaged much more than the wheel or the rear suspension. At any rate, moot point. In spite of Ozark Chevrolet's desire to find an excuse to explain why they couldn't do an alignment on the car; the wheel has nothing to do with this service. The real problem was the service technician, Tom M. There are alignment settings for NON Z06 corvettes which I later discovered he used: FE1/FE2/FE3/FE4. I did not realize this at the time since I was not given an alignment printout after Monday's work. I made another appointment for Friday, 05/14 to have the car put on the body shop rig as suggested. When I arrived on Friday, I told Jody to forget the window, please just have the guys focus on the alignment and fix the steering wheel back to center as it had been. Again, no word from anyone at the shop until well into the afternoon. When I finally called, Jody told me she was just waiting for the body shop guys to get back from lunch but that she knew what the car meant to me and that she wanted to make sure it was "right". She would track the guys down, get back to me AND have the car ready that evening. I waited an hour and a half for a return call but did not receive one. As I was leaving my drive way, I got a call from who I believed was the service manager (Alan). He began ranting about damage to my rear suspension and how they couldn't lock the alignment in and how my car suspension must have been previously damaged. (I guess by that cracked wheel two years previously?!!) I asked him what the heck was going on down there that they can't figure this out. His response: "come get your car, we have bent over backwards for you, come get it, you have not been forthcoming and you did not disclose the cracked wheel; we can't help you!!! However this time I did get a printout of the alignment specifications from when they screwed it up on Monday and tried to fix it on Friday. It was clear to see that Tom was using FE1/FE2/FE3/FE4 sittings when the car called for FE6/FE7 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 Performance Package. Staff/management might have wanted to look for the correct settings for the car. How about training your staff? How about checking your staff's work? A new appointment at Reliable Chevy in Springfield the following Monday corrected the issue. The tech backed out the incorrect adjustments and aligned the car according to FE6/FE7 Corvette Z06 with the Z07 Performance Package. I wasted a week worrying about my pride and joy thanks to Ozark Chevrolet but Reliable had the skill sets to clean up the bad work. Problem solved read more

If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. Bought a used car here in 2020, told me it was in great condition and past owners had taken great care of the car. Bought the car and took it 50 miles down the highway and had to pull over twice because it felt like the car was about to fall apart. Took it to a reputable dealership and told me that both of the front axels were broken. So very nice of them to send a 20 year old girl off down the road with two broken axels and fuel injector. I would never recommend anyone buy a used car from this place because they obviously don't care about their customers, just looking to make a quick penny. Please whatever you do, do not give these people your money!! They will just screw you over in the long run! read more

I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban in mid Nov. They really pressed buying the extended warranty, which I did. While traveling for the holiday we notice a noise coming from he front left axel which they apparently had replaced prior to the sell. I call to get it in the service dept, get an appointment for a few days later. Dec 26th While on the road for the holidays,I came out to a puddle of fuel under the vehicle. I call the warranty, they tell me to take it in to Mccarthy Chevrolet in Lee's Summit, the fuel pump and fuel line corroded in half. Warranty won't cover corrosion, I call and go back and forth with Zeb which got me no where, I explained this didn't just happen overnight. Finally I speak with a general manager who agrees to cover $750 of the $2500 bill. It took them roughly 2 weeks to fix and I took it back to Ozark to adress the other issues. They had the car for roughly 2 more weeks and couldn't duplicate the sound. At this point I am out of town for work, I flew home and picked up the vehicle and drove 12 hours back to Colorado Springs, the car still making the noise in the front end. I park the car for a few days and then get in to go to the grocery store and the check engine lights are one, I call ozark and am told to take it in and have it diagnosed and see if the warranty will cover. The new dealerships find the rear shock is completely seized up, which has a direct effect on the rest of the suspension. As well as the catalytic converter being bad. Ozark Chevrolet doesn't seem to care about their customers once the sell is final. I will gladly edit this if the decide to do the right thing, but unfortunately at this point after spending close to $30,000 + my portion was $1800 for a fuel pump, the vehicle now needs another $7800 for the catalytic conveyors, rear shock and a parking sensor. I will also be filing complaints with the attorney generals office, the dept of revenue, and the bbb. This vehicle has left my family stranded twice now.... thanks Ozark Chevrolet read more

Absolutely the worst dealership! Still experiencing the most frustrating experience. We showed up Saturday to buy a truck that was reserved for us to find out after the test drive it was sold out from under us for the second time. We were then showed another truck that still had things to be fixed but we're told it would be done by Tuesday morning at the latest. We are now told it won't be done until late Thursday afternoon. All they will do is say sorry and not try to fix the terrible relationship they just made. We expected some kind of compensation in some form to make up for the extra 2 days we will not have our truck and all they say is they are loosing money by fixing the truck that they had to fix anyway. Beyond disappointed in this dealership. The only good thing they have is our salesmen Jack, he has only been there a few weeks but has maintained contact every day they have had our truck to make sure someone was telling us what was going on, can not say enough good things about him, suggest him finding a better dealership to work for. Wouldn't go back to Ozark Chevrolet for anything after the attitude I got from the parts department. I had an extra key made from Marshfield Chevrolet when I had initially bought the truck, come to find out that key was cut wrong and didn't even turn my ignition. So I went back to the parts department to ask if there was anything I could do to get another key made even if I had to pay a fee, and at first the parts guys looked at me like I was stupid and said it probably hasn't been programmed. Then when I explained to them it won't even turn my ignition they say to me 'yea I guess we can it's gonna be like a $50 dollar key though' not polite or helpful at all, will take my business elsewhere. read more

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Ozark Chevrolet and thought everything had been checked out. I should have noticed it before I drove it off the lot, but I thought Ozark Chevrolet was an honest and trustworthy dealership. Come to find out, one of the tires had a slow leak in it, so I had to have it fixed in the next couple of weeks. Also, two lights were not working, completely burned out, a low-beam headlight and a turn signal light. The turn signal light was broken off and rusted in the socket. Also, many of the fluids were not topped off. Right, I thought they were better than that. Truly a lack of professional service. They also have a collision shop, so be careful when you get something fixed there. Then when I went to title the vehicle, things were wrong on the paperwork I was submitting. I had to get this all corrected, I loved going to the DMV a couple of times, not. So if you buy a vehicle here, take it to a mechanic and have it completely looked over and also look over your paperwork a couple of times. read more

I AM SHOCKED!!! Beware purchasing ANY vehicle from Ozark Chevrolet. We went to Ozark Chevrolet to purchase a vehicle and found a 2015 Kia Soul. We took it to our mechanic before purchasing the vehicle, and they found issues with the tie rods stating it would not pass a state inspection. We decided to purchase the Kia after our mechanic found issues with the tie rods and NOT purchase the extended warranty as they wanted over $3,000 for a warranty that was only good for 48,000 miles. We decided we would pay the $150 to get the tie rods fixed. Since it was a 2015 we figured that should be the only problem. The day after purchasing the vehicle, we decided to take it to the KIA Dealership for a THIRD opinion. They found safety issues with the ball joints, telling us this issue would not pass a State Inspection. After the KIA Dealership found issues, we went back to Ozark Chevrolet and again asked them to fix the safety issues. The man we talk to would not fix the problem stating his mechanics found nothing wrong with either of those issues. He also stated Ozark Chevrolet backed their mechanics 100%, however, when we asked for a statement in writing that their mechanics found nothing wrong with the tie rods or the ball joints, he repeated over and over again that we had a state inspection stating there was nothing wrong with this vehicle. Well...they had NOT given us any inspection slip because no state inspection is required on this 2015 vehicle. He then told us they would rather take the vehicle back and sell it to someone else, so...RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE, we returned the vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle, the young man we were dealing with did not want to sign the finance contract stating that the transaction was cancelled and the car had been returned. Some other man signed the paperwork. Still we could not get anyone to acknowledge that the car had been returned. Hmmmm...we had two reputable mechanic shops telling us there are safety issues with this vehicle...Ozark Chevrolet claiming there is nothing wrong, but refusing to back that up in writing...Telling us they would rather take the vehicle back and sell it to someone else, and this AFTER the contracts had been signed...REALLY? WHAT HONEST DEALERSHIP DOES THAT!!!!! Well, I no longer trust Ozark Chevrolet and plan on posting this complaint on every review site I can warning people about the discrepancies of Ozark Chevrolet's mechanics and Ozark Chevrolet's practices. If you decide to purchase a vehicle there anyway, make sure you get your mechanic to check it out first. Just know that if you decide NOT to purchase an extended warranty, which will cost you 1,000's of dollars, you may NOT get a safe vehicle. read more

We started hearing a weird sound on our 2011 Chevrolet Traverse in the middle of December so we took it to a local automotive shop to get the oil changed thinking that was the problem. They said sorry it's more than the oil you might take it to a Chevy dealership and see if they will fix it under warranty or maybe extend it for this problem. We took it to Ozark Chevrolet. We were called the next day by the service department stating they could not find the issue by checking it without getting in to the engine and that it would take 15 hours which costs $1500 and that it was out of warranty, and if it were needing multiple items in the engine replaced then it would end up being around $6500 total. My wife and I talked and did not want to chance it and decided to trade it in and take the loss. We bought a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder on December 28th, 2016 from Jesse Maggard, who was great through the whole process and still after the fact. The next day I took the title for the Traverse to Ozark Chevy and signed it over, I was then told they would send the title for the 2011 Nissan Pathfinder, in certified mail to me. I waited for about a couple of weeks thinking it should be here anytime, and then I just finally called. Bryon Shelton, who was not who I originally dealt with on the finance side, was not in so I left a voicemail. He did not call back so I called again the next business day and he told me that they had to send out for the title and it only been done "last week" since it had been done (The 17th of January) and was told it should be in "next week". It did not come in so I called three times having to leave voicemails. I never received phone calls back so I called again during the middle of the day trying to catch him. He was busy so I was asked if I wanted his voicemail, I said no I want to talk with a manager or someone to get this rectified. Bryon called me back that night and I told him that it is almost time to make a payment on the vehicle that I do not even OWN yet and that I am at the point I just want to return the vehicle and get my old one back. Bryon told me he would get with the manager and have him call me or get back with me to tell me the manager would not be able to call me, which never happened. The next day I went to the dealership and found out Bryon had went out of town. I then had to talk with a Controller who told me they applied for a duplicate title on the 20th from Arkansas because the person who traded it in did not give the title. I told her the same thing about wanting to be done with this and get my old vehicle back. She told me she would get with the manager and would call me either that night or the next morning. That was 2 days ago and I have yet to hear from anyone at the dealership and still do not have a title. read more
