    Jerked Chicken $18 plus tax
    Lukasz O.

I got food from here before and it was good but this time around I was definitely disappointed. I got an order of jerk chicken with rice beans plantains and salad. The chicken was 4 small size pieces which is ok but it was mostly bones with a just a handful piece of actual meat. The rice and beans was good plantains were ok not bad. The salad was good too nothing special. Probably the best thing out of all this were the sauce packets I got here to be honest, sauce was very good. With all that said this box cost me $18 plus tax. This is definitely not worth it in my opinion and most likely I will not get come here again since the quality went down and it's overpriced.

First time trying this cart location and the food was good but given the protein portion it was a bit on the pricey side. Chicken was little dry but the oxtail, rice and salad were great. It Is nice to have the option in the neighborhood when you have a craving.

I was super in the mood for Jamaican food today due to a huge upcoming reggae concert with legendary Buju Banton in New York today and stumbled across this food cart with authentic smokers and the smell alone drew me in! It was meant to be! The service was awesome and they were super nice which is sometimes hard To find in a Carribean food spot lmao IYKYK!! Lmao. I'm happy to know they also do delivery . The food was great and set my day ready to go to the show ! I had the staples Oxtail and Rice/Peas and Jerk chicken (super authentic ) w must try !!!!! Glad to have this place Near me!

They were at a pop up in Astoria near 30th Avenue and smelled amazing! Really wanted to try the oxtail but they said the pork is good too. The flavors were on point and they packed it full, came to $20 something with tax. Came with plantains and salad, rice , would definitely get again!

I ordered the Jerk Pork, rice and peas, salad, plantain and mac and cheese. I thought the portions were decent. I made two meals out of it. The jerk sauce that they provide in a packet is delicious. I took a star away because I felt that it was super expensive (almost $30) and I thought they could've done a better job with the mac and cheese. The flavor was pretty bland. The girls that were taking orders and packing food were pretty friendly and efficient.

Jerk chicken taste good with the rice but the jerk sauce they gave was way too sweet like strawberry jam sauce. Didn't fit well with the spicy rice and chicken meat in my opinion. I am glad they gave sauce packets instead of pouring it all over themselves. The price was expensive at about 19 dollars for one medium box of chicken and rice. In my opinion 13 would be a fair price.....Overall I liked it and there was a good amount of meat , in the photo it doesn't show that well but it's there underneath.

Jamrock is some of the best food in forest hills. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and salad. The chicken was delicious and moist and the portion was enough for 2 meals. It also comes with a small salad and plantains. There's always a line before they open, so I went around 12:30-1pm and there was no wait, so I just ordered in person. Can't wait to try the rest of their food!

Definitely enjoyed my food! I ordered via Uber eats and the oxtail was tender, they didn't disappoint with the gravy and the mango lemonade was finished quick. So refreshing!

The portions are perfect. They give plenty of meat, rice, and salad. I like the jerk sauce and the dressing.

I've been wanting to check out Continent BK for a while and finally had the chance to visit. The…read morerestaurant is located inside Hotel Indigo, which gives it a nice, tucked-away feel. The space itself is pretty small--even with the upstairs seating area. It was actually smaller than I expected. Thankfully, it wasn't crowded at all when I went. I had originally considered hosting my birthday dinner here, and after seeing the layout, I'm glad I didn't. The space doesn't really lend itself to an intimate vibe for larger parties. It feels better suited for smaller groups or a casual dinner. Our host was very nice and offered helpful suggestions, which I appreciated. The menu is a bit limited, but the upside is that many of the appetizers and sides are shareable--and even some of the entrées can be split, which works well for a group. We ordered the oxtail lo mein, scotch bonnet fried chicken, yuca fries, and lobster fried rice. Overall, everything was tasty and enjoyable. The oxtail lo mein and lobster fried rice stood out the most for me in terms of flavor. The yuca fries were solid as well. The scotch bonnet fried chicken, however, didn't wow me. It wasn't bad at all, but there was nothing particularly memorable about it. It's actually one item I wouldn't mind seeing replaced with something a bit more unique. I didn't order any drinks this time around, but I might try a cocktail if I visit again. Overall, it was a good experience with solid food and friendly service--just keep the cozy size in mind when planning your visit.
