When I first walked with Jennifer, who had an appointment to pick up her dress, the owner was in the middle of helping another customer and didn't even greet us. The other customer was getting her slacks pinned for alteration. She asked the owner to complete it a certain way she liked it done in the past and it quickly became a very uncomfortable confrontation between what the customer wanted and what the owner decided she would do. When we were finally greeted and told her why we were there her demeanor changed and she was cordial until the previous customer left. Then she proceeded to talk mad trash about her! To her new customer(s)! We decided to let it roll off our backs and my friend tried on her already altered dress, which did look fantastic. I put my dress on and told her what I wanted done, which included putting a slit in the side. When I went to pick up my dress the slit was not done, it was not taken in as much as shown, and the owner threw her staff under the bus for those issues. Yet, she still decided to charge me the full previously agreed upon price even though all the alterations were not done as agreed upon. Both encounters were so uncomfortable.

Upon my return, the patches were sewn on exactly where they needed to be and looked awesome! For this speedy work, I only had to pay $14 total. Since I don't sew, this is a great price. When I get the other patches to complete the outfits, I'm definitely coming back. By the way, there are some gorgeous embroidered scarves at the front counter. I didn't ask if they were for sale, but they may give an idea of the quality of work done there.

Just picked up two formal dresses that needed alterations and they now both fit like a glove! One needed to be let out and the other needed the straps shortened. Lua altered both dresses and is sweet, personable, and talented. She finished both dresses well before their expected date. Carolina and Joseph, the owners are friendly and you can tell why their business has been around for awhile. I had my wedding dress consultation with Isis. She was very sweet, you can tell she has an eye for detail. I can't wait to come back in August for my wedding dress alterations. Will provide an update then! The seamstresses are upfront about their prices during your consultation, so there aren't any surprises. Their prices are well worth the quality of work they do.
