The people are lovely letting you sample all the delicious unique flavors like blueberry lavender or oowy gooey lemon cookies. The lemon is so refreshing and delicious! The ice cream shop itself is a step back in time. They also serve a variety of coffees. Definitely visit while in Tarrytown you will not be disappointed.

But frankly, not skankly, a multitude of subdued flavor. When I'm talking cream, ya boy is talking cream. I need the cream. This is more icey than creamy. When I get a flava I want the flava. I don't know. Just not impressed with my first few visits. I don't have much else to say, but I still feel the obligation to entertain you. Integrity. Rectitude. Good guy syndrome, what do I got in store for you today? Let's go with an unrelated but kinda related hate rant. Froyo, bro. I'm done with it. I'm OUT. Froyo is just not good - sorry, not sorry. For those starved of all good in life maybe it can confuse you, but for any true sentient human being... you can't truthfully enjoy frozen yogurt. Ohhhhh but all the toppings... back up buster your breath stinks. $80 for what you can get in blizzard form from your local ice cream shop or chain? Yea ok. Grow up. No fat? Cool. What about the unhealthy tops you crop dusting fool? Go invest in a Ninja Creami instead, supreme to your in store Frozen Yogurt. I'd rather cover myself in gogurt and dumpster dive with dirty Mike and the boys than expose my brittle brain, my humbled heart and my sideway stomach to Froyo again in my life. I won't do it. I shan't. I can't. Not again. Not for you and not for me.

Jimmy's Soft Serve was one of the vendors at the event. They offered soft serve vanilla, chocolate, or twist in a cup or cone with rainbow or chocolate sprinkles, Hawaiian shaved ice with blue raspberry or cherry flavoring, and popsicles. I had their vanilla soft serve with rainbow sprinkles in a cup, Hawaiian shaved ice with blue raspberry flavoring, and a Strawberry Shortcake Bar. It was great for a hot day like today. The soft serve was creamy. The ice in the Hawaiian shaved ice could have been finer and thinner shaved, it felt more like a snow cone that use crushed ice. It wasn't powdery and snow-like. The Strawberry Shortcake Bar brought me back to my childhood. The staff at Jimmy's Soft Serve were both wonderful and friendly.

When I got up to the counter, the man serving ice cream was rude. I asked for a cone and was shocked by the amount of ice cream with my cone. It was less than you're average kiddy size cone. The ice cream itself was basic at best, but the small serving size didn't come close to the amount charged. I was extremely disappointed. Never again.

I went with the Killer Chocolate dark chocolate flavor and got the kids size in a sugar cone. I assumed that meant one scoop, but they really hook you up -- one scoop filled the cone and then they added another on top. Definitely more ice cream than I expected! Sadly, it disappeared too fast for me to grab a photo, but I'll definitely be back and will try to snap one next time. The weather was perfect, so we sat outside and enjoyed our ice cream. My friend got one of the cookie dough flavors and really liked it too. Overall, a great spontaneous stop.

The peanut butter brittle flavor was delicious and so was the cookies and cream. They were the two standouts. The cookie dough flavor tasted messy. I don't know if they went in with a dirty scooper or what but it had a maple flavor to it and possibly other flavors. The cannoli flavor I sampled was very mild flavored but simple and still would be good for a hot day. A great choice for anyone who doesn't like high sugar content. The employees were speedy and accurate. I would return. A few parking spaces are available to the side/front
