By first appearance, the shop seems like a nice vibe and seemed like they would have good drinks. And while they have a large selection, the quality couldn't keep up with the quantity. We ordered two iced chai's, one with oat milk. Both tasted very syrupy and left a weird taste. My dad ended up going the next day and got a coffee, which he also didn't like. Two stars because the kids play area in the back is absolutely genius. However, the coffee is truly terrible. I ordered an iced coffee with a splash of Oatmilk. To their credit the coffee was strong and they added more Oatmilk in my effort to make it palatable but it was completely undrinkable. It tasted like the beans were old and low quality. I can appreciate the aesthetic their trying to achieve but the chalkboard menu is overly busy and the seating is a bit awkward. The smell and cleanliness was appalling. I've never entered a coffee shop that stank but this one does. There was poop smeared on the bathroom wall. Basically, just don't. read more

We frequented this cute coffee shop several times during our vacation. They have a huge variety of coffee drinks, specialty beans, pasties, cakes, cookies and smoothies. While you wait for your drinks, you can browse their gift shop that has fun earrings, coffee mugs and beach decor. Service was always friendly. read more

My girlfriend and I visited this location on May 24th after breakfast for a caffeine pick me up. Based on the reviews we had high hopes for this establishment. The location was understandably busy due to the holiday weekend, however the customer service was very lackluster even considering the crowd. I don't mind a long wait for a beverage, however we were faced with the barista (the only one making drinks out of the two employees present) elected to serve multiple patrons who came into the establishment and ordered after us. This resulted in a half hour wait after we had already ordered, to add to the issues the barista began making our order (two raspberry mocha lattes) incorrectly. My girlfriend alerted the barista to the fact the wrong flavors were being used, which was met with evident disdain, and she then proceeded to make the beverages incorrectly anyway as an iced coffee (not a latte), with what tasted of the wrong flavors anyway. After leaving the establishment we tasted the beverage which tasted HIGHLY syrupy, and again... Of the wrong flavors, and we promptly discarded them after one taste. Highly dissatisfied with this experience and cannot recommend anyone try this location. read more

I didn't get a chance to order coffee because of the wait so my 3 star review is based on visuals & experience of the place. The place is a little too dark inside that it feels unwelcoming whenever you walk or drive by. The interior decor and display window are all just a bunch of random things. It feels more like a home than a coffee shop. Based on the decor, I think they are going for a more dive bar feel for the coffee shop. The menu on the board is a little hard to follow/read with the prices. They do offer a lot though on their menu. For a Saturday morning, they only had one person working which is why I left because it was taking too long. There was about only 3 groups of people in front of me. However, one group in front of me left because they were tired of waiting and I witnessed one person with their child who came in line behind me but then left too. I'll definitely give this place a shot again to actually get to try their coffee and update my review then because the frappes I saw get ordered did look good! read more

I went here 4 times during my 3 day trip. Things to note... They made my frappe different each time I ordered it lol odd but good each time New girl at the register was extremely extremely flustered and overwhelmed, but if she reads this, you did a good job for how busy it was on your second day lol Iced coffee wasn't good any time people in my party ordered it. It was watery and bitter. Idk but if you're an iced coffee person, skip it here They scald milk when they make lattes and it gets a weird skin on top and the drink becomes watery. Every time someone with me ordered it, same thing. Something to note if you like a well made latte. So if you stick to ICED lattes, and frappes, it'll probably be pretty good. The place is super cute and they have a lot of flavored syrups also. I attached a picture of the weird latte skin thing ...one of our group is a barista and was bemused this happened with each barista here so she took a picture! I think the very sweet staff here just needs to be trained a little better and it's golden. read more

My wife and I had a chance to stop at Majik Beanz for coffee. First of all super convenient parking with a free half hour directly in front of the shop. We walked in and were greeted by Tyler McDowell. He did an amazing job of helping us decide what we wanted to drink. Made fantastic lattes for us and told us of all the local area, attractions and things to do. We could not be happier with the service we received, as the guy acted like he was the head of the tourism commission for Carolina Beach. When mentioning that to him, we found out that he is actually running for mayor. You have our vote, Tyler! Well done son read more

Best coffee in Carolina beach area! This tiny coffee shop is my favorite coffee along the Carolina beach area (surprisingly there aren't a ton of options). They are very reasonable priced and have many fun cold brew and lattes flavors. Parking can be a little tough where it's situated but that's anywhere you go at Carolina Beach. There isn't room to sit inside but it is right next to the boardwalk so you can walk along there and sip your coffee! read more

I love this cute little place! We walked here every morning for coffee while on vacation. They are dog friendly, so we were able to bring our pup inside while we waiting in line. The owner even gave him a beef jerky treat! The owner is super friendly and makes sure you're satisfied. It can be a bit of a wait since there's usually one person taking orders and making the coffee, but it's a small business so not a deal breaker. Tons of menu options. While the coffee isn't super "hipster" or fancy, it's still good. Tons of flavored bean options as well. I especially liked the sweet coconut coffee beans! I recommend this place as a small business and for how kind the owner and regulars are. read more

This coffee shop has all the hometown eclectic charm with a whole section of toys and games galore for little kids including an original super Nintendo!
