Came here for dinner with the family. The restaurant is on the small side and parking could be a bit tricky as there is only street. Food here is good - tasted great. The service was super friendly as well. Papaya Salad Pad See Ew, Green Curry, Chicken Satay was among the dishes that we ordered and everything tasted well.

How have I never reviewed Janejira before! We love it, Janejira is the most perfect Thai restaurant ever. We order it for take out or dine in at least every other week. They have a ton of vegetarian options and their lunch special is a really great deal. My favorite menu item, which is the main reason we love coming here, are the fried egg rolls. They have those delicious glass noodles and a yummy dipping sauce to go with them. I also enjoy the fried tofu, the garlic fried rice, and the yellow curry. Parking can be limited so add in time to find parking if you're coming to dine in. They have a restroom and a little spice container for extra sauces. The staff is always very nice and prompt with their service. The food always comes out very hot and fresh! The restaurant is casual and there are mainly 4 top tables, so you can easily come here with friends. They offer Apple Pay also!

Delicious Thai food with great service. They have some great lunch specials at $13.50 that comes with a salad, soup, and eggroll. I picked green curry with chicken with brown rice ($1 extra, they don't tell you about the upcharge but I figured so). Salad and soup were good. The soup was basically cabbage soup. I loved it. So simple. Egg roll is tiny and just okay for me. The curry was delicious. I would order again. Beef salad: Delicious. Best to eat it all there. It get a bit soggy if you eat it later on as leftovers. Tom Kha Hot Pot: Delicious. I would order this again. It has a sour coconut flavor. So good.

I was just here this past weekend and let me tell you. Janejira Thai Bistro is a solid Thai spot in Pasadena that definitely delivers on flavor. I ordered the pineapple chicken fried rice and the orange chicken, and both dishes were excellent. The pineapple fried rice was perfectly balanced--savory, slightly sweet, and packed with flavor. The chicken was cooked just right, and the pineapple added a fresh twist without overpowering the dish. It's one of those meals that keeps you going back for another bite. The orange chicken was also a standout: crispy, tender, and coated in a flavorful sauce that wasn't overly sweet. You can tell care goes into their cooking, and the portions were generous. Overall, great food, comforting flavors, and a spot I'd happily come back to when I'm craving Thai food in Pasadena. Definitely worth checking out.

A must try! If you're in the Pasadena area, stop by and treat yourself to some delicious and authentic Thai food! There are so many amazing and delicious dishes there be prepared to order everything on the menu!! ;)

Amazing food! The best Thai we've had maybe. We ordered Tom Kha soup (coconut) base w/beef protein. Also, an order of Pad Kee Mao with chicken. We love the basil and peppers that was in this dish. We usually order pad see ew or pad thai, but tried this. Everything was delicious and the portions of course was enough for two more meals. We came at 11:30 just before lunch it wasn't busy yet. It was probably because it was raining. There were a few more people when we left. Anyway, the flavors were true to Thai and vibrant with lots of flavor and well seasoned. We will be back for sure when in the area again. Im pretty sure this is a family owned business. The service was great and sincere. You have to try this place for sure. Hidden gem in Pasadena. Finally, the prices are very reasonable. Enjoy!

The food here is really good! There is another Thai place like 3 spaces over, the ambiance here is very tranquil and inviting. Unfortunately I didn't want take interior photos because I didn't want to get others in the picture. Service was phenomenal! The menus are paper and taken away quickly my mistake for not taking pictures. This is about the food. Anyway I've eaten here plenty of times and highly recommend trying it

Small place but cozy. We stopped in for lunch and ordered a few appetizers and the lunch specials. The appetizers were mixed: the shrimp roll had almost no flavor, just tasted like oil. The sweet dipping sauce didn't help much. The tofu, though, was pretty good. For our lunch specials, we got three different curries, each with a few pieces of meat inside (maybe because it was the lunch portion?). Everything leaned noticeably sweet, even the savory dishes had a sweet note, which got a little repetitive. On the plus side, service was attentive and friendly. Okay for a quick lunch, but I wish the flavors had more balance.

Such a tasty and terrific luncheon spot! My pad se ew with chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked: lots of nice green veggies, husband loved his garlic pepper stir fry with pork. Only 1 slight miss was the veggie roll was lukewarm and a bit tasteless, Wonton was tasty although note there is no filling, accompanying salad was fresh and tasty with a mild mustard dressing. Overall it was a great meal and staff couldn't be kinder nor more willing to assist. This one is a keeper for regular rotation. Hope to see you here, fellow yelpers!

We wanted to try a new Thai place. My girlfriend selected this restaurant since the menu looks amazing. There is a huge selection from each category. The prices are good in today's inflationary environment. We ordered the chicken skewer, it was good. We tried the Tom yum soup with shrimp. The flavor was bold with the right amount of sourness and spiciness. We shared the papaya salad with woke up our appetite for our entree. We then share the Pad see Ew with beef. The sauce was a little too sweet, but that's the Thai flavor. The best was for the last, mango sticky rice. When we had our first bite, the delicious flavor captured us!!! The sweet and warm sticky rice is a perfect match with the mango. We had so much for dinner and regretted not leave enough room for the dessert. We were very pleased with the dinner and I'd love to come back to try other dishes.

We waited around 30 minutes to order and get our food and there were quite a few people in the store when we went on a weekend around 7 PM. We ordered the fried rice with chicken and pad Thai. The portions looked relatively small, but filled us up perfectly. We were a party of three but only ordered two entrée since we weren't that hungry. The fried rice was not too salty and was very well balanced, and the cucumbers added an amazing freshness. The pad Thai had a strong acidity to it, but we enjoyed the crispy pork belly it came with. Both of the entrées were not too oily or greasy. The rest of their menu looked amazing and I hope to be back to try it soon. They also have Thai tea which I am a sucker for, so I'll definitely be back to try that too. Overall, I'd recommend this place for some delicious, casual Thai food and good vibes.

I got their Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai and omg... it was lowkey one of the best pad thai I've had in a WHILE. And I don't say that lightly because I'm picky picky when it comes to pad thai. It's literally the one dish I always order at any Thai restaurant, so my standards is kinda up there. But also... this was in the middle of the desert at a music festival so ngl I didn't have high hopes lol. But their Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai was so good!! The flavor was super authentic, spicy, tangy, just hitting all the right notes. The noodles had that perfect chewiness, not clumped together so they know exactly what they doing with their food! The shrimp were big and tasted fresh and all the toppings: bean sprouts, grounded peanuts, and lime, just brought everything together so nicely. Also the staff were super sweet and friendly, and I got my food in likes 5 minutes, gave me more enough time to sit down and enjoy my pad thai while waiting for Sabrina Carpenter's stage setup. Miya's Pad Thai completely won me over at Coachella, it's sooo good to the point where now I actually wanna go visit the real restaurant if I'm ever around the Altadena area.

Shame on me for missing out on their delicious food for sixteen years. I seem to recall back then it was more Thai fusion than it is now. I would love to get bottles of their sauces to cook with at home. The summer wraps are largely lettuce and Thai mint - I prefer having a bit more carrot and cuke in them, but I'm not the boss. The spinach peanut with tofu had epic spinach and tasty tofu. The Chinese broccoli in the Pad See Ew was nice and crisp. I guess there is parking in the lot in the back of the store. Seems to be marked for specific stores. I wonder, does the Spa really get that busy they need that many spots? I didn't see anything reserved for Daisy patrons.
