ladies! read my next review if you ever need a quick fix on your nails ... and to the males, if you ever feel super tense and need a quick fix in getting a chair massage... *** Miami Review #1 after flying into miami, he wanted to play a few rounds of golf, so we headed to naples, which we never ended up doing due to the poor weather. in the heart of naples lies a cute frenchy brunch place, where it's tucked inside a courtyard shared by upscale establishments throughout.. kinda felt like newport beach in a way. we woke up late the next morning after checking a few bars the night before that we decided being lazy was the way to go... we checked out tommy bahamas (yes, the clothing line has a cafe of its own, who knew? but it was too early for lunch)... he got the spinach feta quiche $9.75 (it was aright, nothing delightful, looked and tasted like the one at the butler and the chef in sf) and i got the smoked ham brie crossaint sandwich for $9.25, which came out with a side of vinegar chips. not a great way to be munching on chips for brunch at least... the crossaint was splashed with wayy too much dijon mustard, which gave it a nice kick but it was a lil bit too much. overall, quite tasty. service: appropriate.. overall, cute atmosphere, yet uncomfy chairs. read more

My family and I decided to try Jane's on a whim while visiting Naples last week. We had a party of six which can be hard to accomodate in some breakfast places (we were turned away from a previous restaurant) but they were kind enough to move some tables around inside so we were seated comfortably. It is family owned and operated which I absolutely loved. The owners daughter seated us and was very friendly and accomodating. The staff over all was very effecient and polite. Everyone in my party loved their meals. My iced coffee was amazing as were the crepes I had for breakfast. Great menu options and a wonderful, clean atmosphere. The outside seating is adorable. My mom and I went back twice after we had such a great experience and loved it each time. I would highly recommend it to anyone and can't wait to go back next year! read more

I found Jane's quite by accident while strolling the Saturday morning farmers market on 3rd. The words "organic cafe" are what drew my daughters and I in that first time. The food, service and ambiance are what keep us coming back. It is by far the best place for breakfast, lunch or brunch in Naples. The courtyard setting of the outside area with Koi pond fountain is delightful. The menu is diverse and interesting - not your standard diner food, but something for every palate that will satisfy even the pickiest "foodie" as everything is plated beautifully. In addition to the standard brunch fare - omelets, waffles and such, you can get exotic eggs Benedict, stuffed crepes, delicious salads and wraps, and It is the only place in Florida where I have been able to enjoy true British sausages - delicious! My family have eaten here probably a dozen times and every time we have had a great experience. Jane's is owner operated and clearly, tremendous effort is made to ensure their customers leave happy. It is not a large restaurant, so at busy times there can be a short wait, and sometimes the service can be a bit slow, but is worth it. The BPA free Tervis water glasses are a nice touch too! I recently found out they are open for dinner Thursday and Friday nights, so we decided to give it a try. My family and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner there and tried the beef short ribs, grouper and pork tenderloin. All were delicious and cooked to perfection. We asked to speak with the manager to compliment the chef and was introduced to the owner who was charming and appreciated our feedback. We do not live in Naples (sadly), but are frequent visitors. Jane's Cafe is a place that we always visit while we are there and we will continue to be loyal patrons of this lovely place. read more

The search for a good breakfast burrito continues! Sorry, Jane's you missed the mark during my first impression of you. First off, I called the cafe to place a to-go order, and then waited on the phone for 15 minutes before hanging up. Someone clearly forgot that I was on hold. No big deal, I'll call back. Nope. Busy signal for the next 20 minutes. Still no big deal. I'll even drive down, place the order, and wait for it at the cafe. The atmosphere was bustling, and I'll admit, the fountain area looked like a great atmosphere to have brunch. But here is where you really let me down. I ordered the burrito and made a simple request to add some chicken to it. The cost of the single burrito then came to a whopping $20.00...which was shocking, and I still had to wait 30 minutes for it. By now, I was not impressed but still hoping the food was as good as their website claimed. Unfortunately, 30 minutes later I held an oily sopping wet mess in my hands. It got so bad midway through that I couldn't hold it anymore. I'm sure their food is fine, but I definitely won't be back. Major disappointment! OH..and PS, you didn't add chicken to my burrito. Let me start by saying this is my second visit here, but this time was really a disaster. The waitress forgot about the coffee we ordered to start out, then she brought out an orange juice instead of the strawberry orange juice which we did order, but she was off and somewhere else before we could even tell her. Where she was, was actually at the table next to ours, which managed to have ALL the wrong food in front of them. I ordered scrambled eggs, got fried eggs, my husband ordered bacon, didn't get it at all. My mother ordered fruit with hers, got potatoes. I'm willing to overlook a lot, but the kicker was this, I just checked my credit card statement online, SHE ADDED $11 TO HER TIP. I have already provided the details to the credit card company, I'm not interested in going anywhere that I have to be concerned that the staff changing my tip amount to whatever they feel like. Advertised on their website "Open on New Years Day at 9 am" No mention of closing early....(if they had even been open? who knows)The hours listed on the website say OPEN UNTIL 5pm... it was 3pm. Decided to go there because of all the fabulous ratings listed here, only to be turned away... CLOSED with only staff mopping the floors (no customers finishing meals, nothing...) SEVERAL OTHER PATRONS WERE ALSO UPSET, THINKING IT WAS OPEN. ALL THE OTHER EATERIES WERE OPEN (we were looking for a late brunch and opted for this one because of the hours listed... THIS IS A TOP BUSINESS DAY FOR BRUNCH AND YOUR MANAGEMENT OBVIOUSLY SCREWED UP. One lady had even called and asked if they were open.... and was told yes. First impressions count, and that was not only a first impression, but a last one. If this is how you run your BUSINESS, then you should just keep your doors closed! My wife and I love this place. The French toast is so flipping good it will make you cry. I pray that one day God might let me have a dream, in which I find myself covered in their French toast, as it rains endlessly from the sky. This place is just that stinking good. I don't know who Jane is but whoever she is she is like the freaking Mother Teresa of French toast, the patron saint of raspberry sauce. There are a ton of pretentious, fake, over priced places in Naples. This place has a tinge of that. However, Janes possess the down right deliciousness to back it up. That is a good thing. read more

Loved this place for many years however I have been there 4 times and very underwhelmed. Asked for my eggs in my omelette not to be browned, liked them cooked lighter but each time my omelette is overcooked. Ordered a avocado sandwich priced at $14. I do not mind the price but the sandwich barely had any avocado and some lettuce and tomato with no seasoning. Waste of time and money. Personally I think their now cutting corners with their food and it's starting to show. read more

We were disappointed yesterday! It started with a dirty knife. The waiter gave me a new set up, but now the fork had dried food on it. I complained to the manager who started making excuses "we serve over 700 meals and occasionally this happens" (are you serious!). The waiter was not very friendly and was rushing us. In fact he brought the bill without ever asking if we wanted coffee or dessert. When we got the bill a 20% tip had been added to the bill. This takes away from any incentive the waiter may have had to do a good job and perhaps explains the poor service we received. My food was just fair, but others in our party said the food was good (not great). Outdoor seating was nice and the place is pet friendly. I would not be inclined to recommend. read more

Pretty w good location but high priced mediocre food. Hardly any blueberries in pancakes and $2.50 for extra syrup!!! My poached eggs were sitting in awful tasting water which ruined the eggs! I know they don't care because they keep packing them in and never even bother to respond to anyone's previous comments! Bad attitude. Never again I give up on this place. This is a hidden gem that's great for brunch or lunch with friends. The seating outside is gorgeous and quaint, which is surprisingly hard to find in Naples. Almost everything on the meal sounds appealing, but I usually go for egg meals so that I get the side of potatoes with it. They're delicious. I've had the breakfast burrito and a few of the omelettes-all were great. The service has never been exceptional, but I'm not usually in a hurry when eating there so it's not a huge deal. They have really great drinks...the blackberry lemonade is delicious and refreshing. Last time I went with a friend we each got the mimosa special...which was seriously disappointing especially when we saw the check that it was $13. I didn't want to drink all of it but figured for that price I had to. Overall, it's a great place that I regularly recommend to people looking for great food in the beautiful scenic area of Downtown Naples. read more

Went here for Sunday brunch and it was wonderful! The service was great. They were quick, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious. We had omelets and french toast. They were made from very fresh ingredients. The Big Girl Mimosa was strong - just the way I like them :). Great atmosphere too. We were sat in the "back garden" and it was beautiful. A little hot, but not too bad with all the fans running. Definitely plan on going back. read more

So glad after years of coming to Naples to have found Jane's! So many mouthwatering options I couldn't decide (suggested they add a sampler). Breakfast all day is a huge plus right off the bat! Then it's all fresh, natural, etc. and the taste was great! Brie and bacon omelette...um yes please! Add sausage and french toast stuffed with berries and cream (I was sharing). Sandwiches and salads (or wraps) also were excellent. I'm not a coffee drinker but they serve Lavazza blue and as a restaurant owner that also serves this coffee I was impressed (particularly in the US). The terrace is adorable, spacious, comfortable, shady but with some sun, OFF 3rd, and reminded me of key west or some tropical paradise. It's now at the top of our Naples hit list! read more

Took my husband here for birthday lunch and drove over an hour to get here. We were seated right away, got order taken quickly. Went downhill from there. Never saw waitress again until we got the check. Food just OK. My husband had an omelette, I had a salad. We had to ask for napkin and silverware. Husband had toast, we had to ask for butter and jam. Got jam, had to ask again for butter. Never were approached for drink refills, even though we saw other tables where service was good. After what we paid, service and food should have been much better. We will not return. read more

This is my favorite place to get breakfast or brunch anywhere. The food is always fantastic and loaded with fresh fruit. There is an inside seating area, but it's much nicer to sit outside by the fountain. The staff is always very nice, and they know us by name after just a handful of visits. read more

On my trip to Naples, I dined at Jane's Cafe for a late breakfast. We were looking for something to eat, so we decided to try Jane's. Honestly, I loved it. Jane's has great seating: either inside the restaurant or outside in a courtyard. The courtyard is very comfortable. We were not seated too close to the other families, but the tables were close enough to not have large gaps in between tables. There were heaters outside, as it was chilly, and lots of trees and even a fountain. Jane's was an easy restaurant to find, but it was tucked away in the courtyard, surrounded by other stores. The service at Jane's was okay, though there were a few waiters there who clearly did not know what they were doing. But most of the waiters were good, and the food came out quick enough. The food was good breakfast food, although I would not recommend going if you don't enjoy breakfast foods, because they don't serve anything else besides salads or soups. Jane's uses fresh eggs, so the eggs prepared were very good. Overall, I really enjoyed my dining experience at Jane's. I would recommend it to anybody who is looking for good breakfast food. It has great atmosphere and great food/service. The only negatives about Jane's is that some of the servers are not good, and the food is overpriced. read more
