This a our favorite lunch-time spot in Naples. The staff is so warm and friendly, the food is fresh and the atmosphere is casual and fun. We love both the front and rear patios for a lazy lunch. The front patio has a pretty Coi fish pond as the center of attention. Pete has been our server on our last two visits. He has great menu knowledge and is very professional. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone. The food is prepared fresh and they use quality ingredients. My husband always orders the coronation salad and I have tried many items and loved them all including the fish tacos, BLT, and the turkey wrap. The kids menu is better than most. Our six year old enjoys the homemade chicken noodle soup. Spent forget to order a glass of their lemonade of the day. It is full of fresh fruit and tastes great. read more

We've been here a number of times and it seems hit or miss depending on your server. The atmosphere is amazing, outdoors beautiful fountain, the sunshine and all the beautiful foliage, just perfect!!! Great spot for breakfast or lunch--everything is fresh and flavorful and service is great. A good spot to take kids to as well--they have a kids menu, high chairs and you can sit outside to let the environmental noise drown out tantrums. Certainly not the cheapest place to get a meal, but food quality and service still make it a good value. We enjoyed our lunch so much during a 1 week stay that we returned for breakfast a few days later. This will be one of our go-to spots for our seasonal trips to Naples. read more

We have been going to Jane's for years. The food and service have always been excellent even if it is not a great value. But we have seen a steady decline in quality culminating with our last visit a week ago. For the two of us these were the results: watered down bloody mary; burned toast; stale bagel; cheese not melted in an omelette; smaller portion of salmon; same high prices. read more

First experience turned on to Jane's by yelp, told there would be a 10 minute wait. Was given free coffee while waiting. Food was great however left me wanting in terms of service, it was quite busy asked for milk (h&h is norm) once coffee was brought took 10 min.to deliver and was served in a demitasse cup instead of creamer, refills had to requested. OK, This is a mixed Bag Review where some items I would give 4-5 stars and others 1 star or less. Quaint Euro feel cafe. I took a party of six with relatives visiting from MI. GOOD: Eggs Benedict were quite good, Belgian Waffle with fresh fruit/syrup was excellent, French Toast with fruit also delicious. BAD: Cottage Potato's just not appealing and seemed not fresh and no one ate them in our party, if they give the option on your item order the fresh fruit instead, French Onion Soup tasted salty/sugary, Fish Taco's bland and flavorless, BLT with some bad bacon had to be replaced. Cappuccino and Latte was 80% foam with little beverage to consume underneath and not very good at all - tasted like old bottom of the pot coffee. Now for the kicker, because we had a party of six they auto billed the Tip at 24% and then had the gall to add a space suggesting more tips, I typically tip at 24-30% max but for someone to auto add my tip when half our meal was subpar and ask for more is BS and unacceptable! In summary, If you want ambiance similar to a Euro cafe stick to the breakfast specialties, don't order the breakfast potato's or what would be gourmet coffee as their's sucked - when you have six people and no one eats the potato's there's something wrong. Trying to find a true 4-5 star dining in Naples is sad as I bet 90% use Line Cooks instead of chef's and we're not new here - Naples Menu prices and flair shout 4-5 star but rarely deliver in all facets. I could eat the waffles/Egg's Benedict regularly but the other items were not good and it leaves you sick when your treating out of town guests at what you thought was special - Embarrassing! read more

Despite it being a little loud, crowded, the fact that we sat next to the kitchen, AND left smelling like food...... I had to give this place 5 stars. The wait staff was super, the place was clean and run well. There are indoor/outdoor seating options and the atmosphere was pleasant. What really earned it the 5 stars though was the food. So fresh, so delicious..... My mouth waters just thinking about it. We had their signature French Toast for a starter and it was some of the best French Toast I have ever had. Ridiculous! The bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast were all made perfectly and tasted fresh. My wife had the breakfast burrito which she devoured. Jane's was amazing. We had the Groupon for the Mimosa breakfast. The outdoor seating atmosphere is wonderful. Surrounded by flowers and a beautiful fountain. There was six of us, two of which were kids under 13. The menu was large and had some great options for the kiddos, as well. We tried the bacon and egg sandwich with jalepeno, the English style breakfast, the Dr. Suess omelete, quiche Lorraine, the yogurt parfait and kids French toast. We ate every single bite of the delicious food. Service was quick and we were in and out in less than hour. Perfect for a family looking for a quick breakfast before a day at the beach. Extremely disappointed in the 'classical' Eggs Benedict; with potatoes, which were obviously frozen! Why? Why can't you make your own freaking potatoes??? Not that difficult! Saw a waiter sneeze in our area WITHOUT covering his face. ICK! Also, can SOME restaurant in Naples please toast and butter English muffin for and eggs Benedict... Don't just remove an English muffin from its package and just plop it on the plate! It's Mother's day!! We get that........that's why average food is excusable(although it was served quickly)and when you have a very busy restaurant lack of service is somewhat excusable(never offered a beverage refill or attended to after food drop). But.......what is NOT excusable is to be told you need to leave because they need the table. We are always mindful of time spent at a table when there are many guests waiting(total time spent approx 40 min) and would've left shortly anyway since we didn't have that 2nd cup to enjoy anyway. Profits and turnover are good on a P&L so if that's your only goal post your time limit and call it a day. read more

Best breakfast in Naples! The staff is always in an upbeat and friendly mood, even when we walk in 20 minutes before they open. They are very prompt with their coffee refills, and the food is consistently delicious. We have tried other breakfasts in Naples but Jane's definitely comes out on top! The only complaint I have is there can sometimes be poor ventilation from the kitchen, causing the inside dining area to get smokey and uncomfortable to sit in. The smell sticks to your clothes and you have to wash them when you get home or you'll smell like grease. I have yet to try their lunch but definitely recommend going for breakfast! read more

As residents of Naples, we actually ate here for the first time taking my elderly mom for lunch. The service was slow and when we finally received our quiche order, it was very cold. We sent it back and it came back fine. However we noticed a waiter had earlier gone by our table with what looked like many frozen quiches (which I hadn't noticed but my husband did). I would have expected fresher food from a cafe with these prices. We also asked for water and had to grab another waiter since ours seemed to forget us. Water for tea was only warm. I read so many great reviews and was hugely disappointed at Jane's. I was given a large lemonade that was half ice, so I actually received half a glass of lemonade. I ordered two entrees to try out their chef's skills and ingredients, hopefully validated the reviews. My berry crepes were cold because they had to wait for the omelet. Crepes were simply ok with mascarpone that seemed from a can. The omelet was burned and dry and the avocados inside were so old I could barely stomach them. Big disappointment because I love avocados. I was so looking forward to the home fries but they were those prepackaged frozen potatoes, cold and mushy. This is absolutely not an organic restaurant as advertised. I am new to FL and I have to say to all the local reviewers that you really should get out to the rest of the 49 for truly great dining and high professional standards. read more

Took my wife and son here for Mother's Day. Although we have lived in Naples year-round since 2011, we had never been to Jane's (even though we frequently visit all the other restaurants on 3rd Street S). We had a 1:00 PM rez ... and although all three dining areas were packed, we were seated in the back courtyard within 5 minutes of checking in. My wife ordered the "Fit for a King" breakfast with champagne; my son ordered the Cancun omelette and a Bloody Mary; and I ordered the Seafood Salad with a Bloody Mary. Our drinks and all three meals were served in less than 10 minutes after ordering! Our server was prompt and attentive ... and Jane came over to welcome us to her cafe (nice touch). What a pleasantly wonderful experience. Perfect ambiance for Sunday brunch or weekday lunch. Only wish we had begun dining here years earlier! We will be back ... frequently! read more

Wednesday, June 20 we visited Janes for breakfast we have been there on several occasions the food and the place is very charming this morning was not so charming ,we sat inside because of the heat we walked through ,the kitchen floor is filthy I don't understand why you let people see the filth in that kitchen, then we sat at a four top in the corner where the flies and small bugs where flying all around our food, couple next to us was having the same problems, our server didn't understand what we were saying. I myself get the same items , Berry Blitz fruit brown very disappointing with our food, husbands Chorizo omelette burnt, I'm wondering if they changed owners??? Thank you! read more

Best breakfast/brunch in Naples! We love all the eggs Benedict options but our favorites are the classic and vegetarian options. Coffee is hot and strong and lattes have perfect ratio of espresso to foamed milk. Our daughter even enjoyed the kids French toast and side of fresh fruit. What's better than sitting in the courtyard near the fountain dinning al fresco? Service is also excellent. If breakfast is not your thing, they serve a variety of quiches, sandwiches and lunch specials. Only downside is it's also the most expensive breakfast in Naples $$$. read more

We just had another great breakfast at Jane's. As usual on a Sunday the place was packed with people however we were lucky since indoor seating was available immediately. If you don't mind the smell of the kitchen it is just fine to sit inside. The real experience is to be sitting outside in one of their two outdoor areas. Staff is very friendly and super efficient, even though the place was packed, we were taken care of immediately. I had the French toast which was lovely and my wife had an egg dish that was very tasty. Over time I had many different meals at Jane's and was never disappointed. My friend and I go to Jane's as often as we can--usually for Sunday brunch, and we always have the best time! The ambiance is fantastic; outside there are cobble stones, a beautiful fountain, a courtyard garden, and romantic cast iron seating. Inside has a homey feeling with air conditioning for those all-too-frequent humid days in Southwest Florida! The staff is fantastic, always polite, and the owners take a genuine interest in their guests :) The food is always so delicious--no matter what you get.
