Does not care about their customers! I went in for a couples facial on 3/23 with my BIL who wanted help with his skin issues. It started rough since one of the "artists" was 20 minutes late. Anyway, We went ahead with the 50 min service and all was well until the extractions. He was major pain and yet decided to sit through it. The issue comes afterwards when he wakes up to a full face skin allergic reaction !! We were stunned and at first I just wanted to reach out as to what chemicals were used. I emailed NO REPLY. I also commented on an instagram post to say hey please help me out here ! AND MY COMMENT WAS JUST DELETED. Ridiculous service. not worth $230. read more

This was my first facial and my estheticians name is Karina. She was really easy to talk with and she knew how to answer my questions. Thought me a lot of facial products and of course getting to know each other. I got the deep pore cleanse and added a dermaplaning. Extractions did hurt but of course pain is beauty! I struggled with terrible acne during pregnancy. I never had any on my cheeks until I got pregnant. I found Janine on instagram and fell in love with her videos of extractions so I decided to schedule with her and she truly saved my face during pregnancy. I'll post a before and after. I read some of the other reviews on here and was kind of shocked because I've never had a negative experience of my own while there. Her suite is cute and relaxing, and she's a really nice chick! The pics I uploaded are after only 2 facials. I noticed a difference after my first one though! This is a great way to treat myself and de stress. The deluxe custom facial is so refreshing and relaxing! It got rid of my blackheads, minimized my pores, tightened my face a little without the redness, and gave me an afterglow. The ambience gets better when you walk in the actual spa room. It's small with relaxing music playing in the background. I like how I'm able to add services like the hydradermabrasion or a mask depending on my skin that day. I like how she films the facials too, so I get to watch my pores being cleaned (sooo satisfying). Janine's also really nice and she responds to my messages promptly. My facial was awesome! I got the Hydrating Facial and i will say that my face feels super hydrated. I felt so pampered while I was there and almost fell asleep! I have a little bit of eczema on my cheeks and getting the LED light therapy really helped with my redness! The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was a little shorter than I expected. On her pricing list it said that the Hydrating Facial was 50 mins and I even added the LED light therapy! But in total I was only there for about 40 mins (that was including the light therapy). :( read more

I've tried messaging the business via Instagram, then I texted in which she responds- please send me a message on Instagram which I told her I did and no one responded and tells me to send another message. Instead of telling me to message her on Instagram she could have assisted me via text but she didn't. Thought I'd try to book an appointment again, but had questions so I emailed her and nothing again! Texted...nothing. She wants business but no one responds, bad business if you ask me. My face was sooo congested and I knew I needed the best to handle the situation. Janine was so friendly and personable. She dug out what I needed extracted with way less pain than other facials I've had and she left me feeling amazing! Can't wait to see her next month I got an extraction facial this time, which also had a sulfur and tea tree mask. My face hasn't felt this clean since we were pre-Covid and before masks. I started coming to Janine last year and my skin has been thanking me ever since. Vegas is extremely dry and unfortunately it has started to affect my skin over the years. I go to Janine once a month to help put back the much needed moisture my skin needs and to get a really good deep cleaning. My skin is always supple and glowing when Janine is done. This was my first and last time here. I booked toward the end of Sept. as a bday gift from my husband but Janine wasn't available until the end of Oct. No biggy, I still went w/ it because I found her on IG and she seemed like she was passionate about her work. I booked 3 treatments ( 45 min facial, 10 min arm neck massage, and 10 min hot stones.) I was sent a text confirming this. After counting down the days until my appt.; the night before my appointment Janine texted me w/ TMI stating how she's in SD and having fam issues so she needed to cancel....Awkward. She offered me 2 days after my appt. date but I couldn't make it until Nov.2nd. I asked her to tell me what her schedule looked like. It didn't have to be on the 2nd but that was my next available date. She rescheduled me for Nov. 2nd @11am and we were back on! So I get there (and this has never happened to me) she tells me to change but doesn't leave the room. During my facial we were interrupted bc she had to move her car. That was about 5 min. Now stay w/ me here. It felt like she was rushing through the motions w/ me. Suddenly, she's like, done. I said I also had the rocks. She's cleaning up saying oh I didn't see anything like that. You'd think after all the waiting ,cancelling, and being a first timer that she'd apologize and follow through w/ what I had booked. She said next time I should go over what was booked before starting. Excuse me? Isn't that your job to say, " Okay, so today we're doing this or that today, right?" She didn't give me a mirror to look at my face and see her work. She didn't recommend a plan for my skin and future appt.'s. I had to ask for these things. She again, didn't leave for me to change and gather my things as she was cleaning up around me. She just told me what I owed her. So I paid and even gave her a tip (Which comes naturally to me living in Vegas). I got outside, looked at my phone and realized she had me out of there at 42 min. Mind you, I booked for 65 min. Even minus the rocks I should've been relaxing for 55 min. Don't forget she left for 5 min too. I thought, let me just text her and she'll realize this and make it right next time. SHE NEVER RESPONDED! Bad for business! Apparently, she doesn't care about having returning guests. Little does she know I'm a loyal monthly kind of guest and since one of my favorite casinos closed I've been searching for a good person to go to. This will not be the place. This is a turn and burn kind of spot. If you want to be made to feel like a million bucks or even want to relax don't go here. This place will make you feel cheap and like you've been suckered. And you know what else? I totally knew that TMI text was a red flag. What's the lesson here? Always go with your initial gut feeling, your intuition. read more

I went to Janine on July 29, 2020, my initial impressions when first booking with her was nothing but excitement as her Instagram looks amazing. As I arrive to my appointment I let her know I was there she took 10minutes to text which by this point she was already running late to my appointment I was very understanding since I'm also an esthetician and things happen. By the time she lets me in the building we're running 30 minutes behind my appointment she didn't greet me or introduce herself you know the normal small talk, we get to the room and she is being completely silent and I'm just standing their waiting for instructions on what to do next and I ask if I should lay down now she agrees and I do. From there she does not do a consultation or ask about anything regarding my skin. We begin the facial she does not sanitize nor wash her hands, she moves my hair tugs on it while doing so and begins applying product to my skin mind you we still have yet to speak or exchange more than a handful or words. She starts to do extractions and not ask if it was causing pain (it was), continues with exfoliating (burned so bad pictures to come), puts another exfoliating product on (my skin is on fire and I'm in so much shock I don't even know what to do), roughly takes off product on my raw skin, puts some cream type of product on (skin is burning so bad at this point), continues with two more products that keep burning my face. We finished the facial in 35 minutes when I booked a 60 minute facial that has supposed to include a hydra facial. I'm in so much pain and discomfort that I get up pay and tip because I really didn't know what else to do, still haven't spoke at all to each other the vibes were so uncomfortable. I ended up texting her to let her know how I was feeling about the service and her response was rude and I do not recommend her at all. I left her room with 3rd degree burns, blood under the skin, and now ice pick scarring. I wish I would've known about this Yelp page sooner. read more

I booked a deep pore cleansing facial with high frequency add on with Andrea about a month ago. I think my first mistake was not going with Janine to do my facial because I had never seen the other staff's work. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed when I got back to my car and saw my face. My pores were still very clogged and I had plenty of blackheads left in my nose. She was TOO gentle when touching my face, it almost felt like she just washed my face over and over again. No steam was used for extractions. I paid good money for this facial and two days later my skin started drying out and stayed like that for almost a week. Very unimpressed with Janine's customer service. I booked my facial ONE MONTH early only to be cancelled on 30 min JUST BEFORE I was due at my appointment. I understand that things happen and situations arise, but it's how you treat people afterwards that makes the difference. I waited an entire month to try and see her, so I was disappointed to say the least. She said she would reach out to me to reschedule, but never did. I had to contact her to remind her. No incentive, no discount, and I can be "squeezed" into her lunchtime if I really wanted to rebook. No thank you. I'm not just a number or dollar sign, I value my time and skin more than that. And after reading other reviews, maybe it was a blessing in disguise that I was cancelled on. Don't believe everything you see on Instagram people! Again, very unimpressed. Okay so this was my very first facial and I was actually nervous and janine calmed all my anxiety's from the second I got there. She laid this comfy blanket on me and tied my hair from my face. I had the best time relaxing and her telling me stories, her voice is very soothing. Not as soothing as it was to be pampered! I almost fell asleep! My first facial was great, my face afterwards was exactly how I expected to be. I got a deep pore facial. My pores were cleaned out , skin was just flawless. After Janine was done we talked about how I should come monthly and she recommended my next facial still be deep pore but we should add dermaplane. I agreed since she's the professional and just worked on my face. Well my appointment came and I'm am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED and will not be returning at all. My facial was not as good as the first, I didn't get any microdermabrasion which is supposed to be included, the dermaplaning was only done on my cheeks and a little on my forehead not my entire face. The whole job was rushed it should have been 50 minutes but I was out of there in maybe 35-40. But what really is horrible is my face has been irritated even 3 days after , my face is actually worse than what it was when I went in for the facial. I contacted Janine personally to let her know and give her a chance to make it right. She did in fact respond but only with I'm pretty sure your face did not like the dermaplane treatment , I paid $138 including tip and wasn't even asked if I could be discounted or if she can do something more hydrating for my skin. I really liked Janine and love her instagrams , but based on the rest of the reviews and my own personal experience either she only does great facials for certain customers or she's just not that good and her branding is on point. Let me clarify a couple of things, one ... that weekend I had plans, I was on a tight schedule, but didn't mean to rush through my appointment, I also felt compelled to let her know i was on a tight schedule because I was on time to my appointment, but she was not. I expect my eyelash tech be on time and ready to go for me at the time of my appointment. So yes! You bet i had to let her know! Yes, I had to wear strip lashes because my eyes looked uneven. Diana didn't suggest any other alternatives. When i texted her to let her know that night my eyelashes had fallen out. As for the no show, like i said, i had plans and couldn't make it. I tried to be free but it didn't work out, but i texted her and told her there was a possibility i wasn't going to be able to make it. As for the long wait because Father's Day was that Sunday, an accommodation is just that, an accommodation to sort things out not wait for the next opening. From Friday to Wednesday... you should still have lashes. I didn't so at that point there's no need to go back ... especially when i developed a stye . Yuck. By the way. Diana was very nice. Don't get me wrong. She isn't good at this job. Very typical of the business to write a reply and think that it's my fault, when they are the ones that provided ME with a service. A service that did not work. I've since then read all of Janine's Artistry reviews, if I was smart enough, I would've never been there in the first place. read more

Janine's is a place I will definitely go back to! I've already told my mom and my brother I am taking them soon. She was so gentle, even with the deep detox facial.
