We have been going to Jan's for YEARS and NEVER had a bad meal. The staff are FANTASTIC and every dish on the Menü is FRESH.

Came upon this spot early morning after coming out of work. Read the reviews and with the great comments I just had to try this place for a good breakfast. I had the California omelette and wowzers such a huge, fluffy, flavorful omelette with the ingredients as fresh as fresh can be and the home fries very different from what I've had in many of the places I have eaten for breakfast. Instead of peppers it had sweet onions if I stand corrected which was also delicious. If I have another opportunity I will come to Jans again and try another choice on the menu but all in all very impressed with this place and the food is backed up by all the comments that I have read. read more

Oh. My. Goodness. Y'all, you have got to try out Jan's Place. We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town and it was amazing. From the Cinnamon Bun French Toast and Cappuccino my son got to the hubs' eggs and ham, all was wonderful. But, there is nothing to top the Neptune Omelette. It is chockful of seafood with a wonderful lobster curry sauce on top. The side of home fries and what seemed to be a homemade English muffin topped off the meal. Jan's has sidewalk seating, which is nice in a pandemic and nice for people watching, and overly helpful staff. Suzette was a wonderful waitress and totally steered me in the right direction to pick the Neptune. Other staff we encountered were equally nice. We can't wait to return to Jensen Beach and eat at Jan's again. Check it out!!! read more

This was a cute place we popped into for breakfast. The decor is charming. Our waitress was very friendly and fast. Mom had a stack of pancakes w a side of breakfast patties. I had a side of biscuits n gravy w the addition of a poached egg. The portions here are quite large so bring your appetite. It looks like they make homemade truffles on the bakery side. This is a great restaurant in downtown Jensen Beach. It's a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot with no dinner service. I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich (also available in either a grilled or fried version) on Texas toast with fries. This sandwich was excellent and the fries were exceptionally good. Nice level of spice in the blackened grouper. My wife and her brother both ordered the fish tacos (soft shell) made with Mahi. One ordered fries, and 1 ordered onion rings. Agaim, the fries were exceptionally good and the onion rings were equally good. Service was very good and our server was excellent. Pleasant, attentive without being intrusive and knowledgeable about the menu. read more

What a great place to have breakfast. They have such a variety to choose from and the food is great. It was also great sitting outside.

What a great menu? Just about every type of omelette combination available not to mention pancakes & other bakery items and fresh, hot coffee. I had the bacon omelette, rye toast and a fruit cup. All were first rate. My wife had Cinnabon French toast. She ate her fill plus had some to take home. Our server was Sara who, despite being busy, was very personable and took all the time we needed to answer out questions about the menu. This place is a down grade from ihop. They are very slow and take a while for seating and food. It depends. The place is old and raggedy and the food is the same. You can tell that half the stuff they serve you is expired, crusty, or frozen. Not a fan. They also need to start putting seasoning on their food. Do not recommend. read more

The service is outstanding, despite most everyone there looking rushed. Debbie, our server, was calm, great service and very personable. The food is good and the servings are HUGE. I ordered the waffle combo and my husband had the farmers omelet. I thought my plate was pretty straight forward and traditional. The bacon, although ordered crispy, came out on the chewy end. My husband said his omelet was a tad runny, but I'm telling you it was HUGE. I had a bite and thought it was good. They have a big menu with a good selection. Their prices are a little higher than the other couple of breakfast places in town, but the portion size reflects that. read more

Okay I'm visiting friends here in Florida from Texas. They recommend this place Jans for breakfast. So I rolled with cause. I enjoy breakfast and I was excited to see what Jans offered. Nice restaurant inside and out. I heard Jans was known for their Eggs Benedicts. I didn't want to over do it on the first try. I ordered the Chicken Philly Scramble with pancakes, I think I should have ordered the Chicken Pot Pie Omelet. That's what one of our crew ordered. Anyway the service was fast and the food was HOT ! I gave Jans 4 stars because everything was great for the price, but my pancakes were a little thin on size and taste. I'll be back to Jans next time I'm visiting my friends here in Port St. Lucie Thanks read more

My husband and I were in Stuart for an appointment and decided to look for a place for breakfast. I wanted a Bloody Mary, so I searched, "breakfast near me with Bloody Mary's". Most restaurants didn't open on Saturdays until 11:00, and Jan's Place popped up with Bloodies and great reviews. We were seated right away by Elaine (It was 9:15) and quickly took our drink order. I scanned the menu and decided on the corned beef hash-still was looking for a recipe that was close to my dad's, and my husband ordered the shrimp and grits. The Bloody Mary (made with in-house mix and Titos) was perfect, and our meals were fantastic. There were at least 12 nice-sized shrimp on the plate and were cooked perfectly. My corned beef hash was just like my dad's...maybe even a bit better:) Elaine let me know later they are known for the hash. This is now our favorite place for food and fabulous service! read more
