@japaninn will get you fired up! For over a decade, this hibachi restaurant has been cooking and entertaining diners of all ages. Each location offers quality teppanyaki, sushi, sashimi plus well crafted cocktails, beer, wine and of course sakes. Japan Inn has 4 locations, one in Miami at Doral, and three in Broward at Boynton, Plantation and Weston. So whether you're celebrating a birthday, date night, family night or just have a craving for good Asian food with a fantastic show, Japan Inn got you covered. Your tummy will be smiling and you'll never get bored! What we ate: MISO HOUSE SALAD SALMON TIRADITO SOFT SHELL CRAB FILET MIGNON & SHRIMP HIBACHI SUMO CRISPY RICE

Alicia is our server for the second time now absolutely adorable very professional and very informative. I frequent this place because I love the customer service and the fresh sushi. I'm glad you guys hired Alicia. She brings a lot of flavor to your establishment. Thanks, Alicia.

Came here last night for my daughter's birthday to give her an awesome hibachi experience. Which she enjoyed along with the presentation as you see the picture below. The food was amazing and my daughter actually loved the soup. I've been here twice before and food still is great. Only issue is the restroom need to be a little bit better.

We had been to Japan Inn for sushi many years ago. And it was really good. Today we went for the hibachi lunch with a gift certificate from a friend. The strip mall is being renovated, so it is a bit of a mess. Nevertheless, the restaurant is easy to find in the Denny's plaza at the SW corner of University Drive and Sunrise Boulevard. There is ample parking in the lot. We were seated at a hibachi table with another couple who had a young child. Not sure if their order made ours take so long (no eggs, no lemon juice, no veggies---really? Why are you at a hibachi?), but we got our plate of food exactly one hour after being seated. We started with the mushroom soup, which was delicious and had tempura crunchies in it. Hubby had steak and scallops. I had filet mignon and scallops. My steak was definitely more tender. The chef was nice but I felt sorry for him as he tried to honor the other couple's many requests and my one ask ("cook the veggies well done please"). The food was tasty and plentiful. But we didn't have any leftovers because we were very hungry. Our server Noi was very helpful and personable. She answered a lot of my questions about the difference between the lunch and dinner meals and when I wanted to know what the crunchy stuff was in the soup (tempura). With tax and tip our lunch for two was about $53.

So I came here for lunch and it was actually an amazing experience. The besides the amazing food, their drink menu is top notch. I really enjoyed their sushi and fried wontons. Anthony was my server and he did an amazing job during lunch when I dined with family. The hibachi experience was so wonderful and funny. Really big space for a great party or dinner with others. Amazing art work on the walls as well and when I went for lunch it was not so busy so I got to enjoy the experience fully and comfortably.

Had Japan Inn for the first time today for lunch. Ordered delivery and was pleasantly surprised by their Mexican Roll. The ingredients tasted fresh and even the ginger and wasabi were excellent. The roll itself was very filling and tasted great with eel sauce and the yum yum sauce. Can't wait to try this restaurant again. It has made a lasting impression.

Overall we had a great experience here for my stepdaughter's 16th birthday. The food is delicious. The show was great, the chef was funny and energetic. The noise level overall is very loud so it is a difficult place to converse but it's great for the food and show. We got a ton of food and we have lots of fried rice to eat for leftovers! It's definitely a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

Lobster and steak hibachi style with fried rice.

Can you order hibachi "to go"?

You definitely can, your 1 phone call away

I only had eaten the clear mushroom soup and had gotten an odd reaction. Does anybody know what is in the soup/soup ingredients so I can narrow it done to what could've caused my reaction?

Clear soup is usually made with either peanut oil or sesame oil. The rest is standard ingredients used for soup bases onion, garlic, mushroom beef or chicken broth.

How many does each table seat (the tables where they cook in front of you)?

Per hibachi table can be seated up to 10 people, and it can be go over to the next table seat up to 20. But you have to let them know if you are adding more so they can set up more chairs.

The eatery was buzzing on a Saturday evening with its modernly decorated dining room constantly filling up. Seating about 80, it also sports a sushi bar. Our server, Jensen, provided great service and excellent suggestions. I had an otoro version of a margarita. It came with sugar on the rim. Not to my liking. We ordered the coconut rock shrimp appetizer that came with large, meaty shrimp and a great dipping sauce. But the shrimp had no flavor and was very bland. We also had the tuna crispy rice. The presentation was lovely. But the appetizer was underwhelming. For dinner we had the cucumber skin roll with tuna, salmon, and a avocado. Again, a beautiful presentation with tuna that melted in your mouth. But again, not impressive. The standout was the curry udon with chicken katsu; thick, meaty udon noodles; and a delectable curry sauce so good I slurped up each drop. Of course we had to try the pandan creme brulee and the ube flan. The latter being the better of the two desserts. Dinner for two with 1 alcoholic drink, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts, tax, and tip was $128.

I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. I could've had another plate just for myself. +Grilled Octopus ($20) : 8.4/10 This was good! Cooked well, had a nice char. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. Nothing crazy. I'd give it a 7/10. Overall Experience: 10/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Would I Be Back? Without a doubt. I even told my mom about this place and I think she went a couple months ago!
