We found ourselves leaving the Bertram area and headed home in Georgetown. We were craving Mexican food and I suggested to my wife that we stop at Jardin Corona. I had been there before, but not my wife. As you pull into the parking lot, the exterior is simple and modest. The interior is neat and clean. Several TV's are scattered throughout the restaurant and were mostly showing the March Madness games. The volume was off and not annoying. The servers were mostly young females. Our server was extremely polite, using ma'am and sir. I was really impressed with her. Chips and salsa were replenished without asking, another nice touch. They seem to use a team concept. Chips were very good and warm. Salsa was very good. I had the spinach, mushroom quesadilla which was excellent. Wife had the enchilada plate (two enchiladas) that came with charro beans and rice. She indicated that they were very good. We ended up taking half home with us. Food and service were great. Again, I was surprised at how good the service was. I love this restaurant, the food is served quickly and hot. Very Delicious!! Service was amazing! The food was still great but I ordered Cheese Enchiladas Blanca's comes with sour cream sauce. I didn't get sour cream sauce. I was so hungry I didn't care. So my husband asked for sour cream for me and I ate everything on the plate. Coming on Friday music was loud and customers were louder when talking. But it felt cheerful and relaxing. I still don't have a complaint. read more

Hubby and I split the chicken fajita nachos. They did not disappoint! They are individually made which is our favorite type of nacho. We added a side of pico de Gallo, and they were super cheesy and delicious! Also, you have to try the Liberty Hill frozen margarita! It is really good! Trust me! I went to Taco Bell to get a Double Decker Taco and after standing at the order counter for a bit over 12 Minutes and never having any of the employees even acknowledge my existence I then left, drove to Jardin Corona and in under 10 minutes I was seated, had chips and salsa, had my order taken and had already been given my dinner. Glad you guys exist, I was just gonna take a dump at Taco Bell but decided to order a taco and no one ever even came and took my order, literally nearly 15 minutes standing there. Stopped by JC in Liberty Hill, TX after a Saturday winery tour in the area. Even with a large party, we were seated in about 10 minutes. We've been to other JC locations (assuming they are all related), and this location was as good as the rest. Service was good, attentive but not intrusive. The complimentary chips and salsa were good, the chips hot and the salsa a bit spicy. We started the meal off with a double (small) order of the queso compuesto, queso with beef and guacamole added... terrific! The skinny margherita was delicious. Dinner included the tortilla soup, fish tacos and the mole enchiladas... all were very good. The entire table shared the entrees and all concurred that all the food was very good. We'll be back ... and suggest you try Jardin Corona if you're the neighborhood. read more

Jardin Corona is an incredible blend of delicious food, reasonable prices and stellar service. My wife and I long ago decided that Jardin Corona was "our place." It's where we go when we are hungry, but can't think of anywhere we want to eat. The atmosphere is great, and they continue to upgrade and redesign the interior to make it look better. We continue to go back because the food is incredible and cheap, and the service is the best we've found in any restaurant we've ever been to. It is *shocking* how little time it takes from when you order your food to receiving it. I'm in love with the beef fajita tacos (a la carte), and the wife gets cheese enchiladas topped with queso instead of the normal sauce. It's all delicious. Pro tip: Ask for the hot salsa. This is my local favorite Mexican restaurant! If given the choice of dining at the Mexican restaurant 5 minutes from my house or Jardin Corona's 35 minutes from my house..? Hands down, it is Jardin's every single time. I dang near refuse to eat Mexican food anywhere else lately! The employees are friendly, helpful, and service is quick. I love the vibe of the place, as it really brings it all together. I've ordered everything from guacamole, queso compuesto, Secret hot salsa (not on menu, have to ask directly for it), fajitas, carne guisada, chile rellenos, sophapillas. Nothing has ever tasted bad here. I highly recommend checking them out! read more

I had great experiences at the Anderson Mill location, so was happy to see one near us. Unfortunately it was a terrible experience. The place wasn't busy at all for a Holiday Monday evening. We were sat right away. The table was severely wobbly and dirty. We were sat for a bit before our server came. We ordered and received drinks before chips and salsa. We ordered Queso and it was cold, lumpy and clearly aged. I ordered the carne guisada burrito, which is my favorite. What I received is a burrito stuffed with beans and a pork chop cut into tiny pieces. Luckily I like pork chop so I ate it, but it is not what I ordered. I would have notified our server, but they didn't come back until we clearly stacked the plates as a signal we were ready to leave. Our drinks were never refilled. The server did remove the Queso from our bill seeing that we didn't touch it. They did not ask us why. Overall it was not a great experience. This is our second time trying this place, thinking the first was just a bad day. I do not think we will return. On top of this, there were flies and just a feel of filth. The Covid barriers appear nasty as if they have never been cleaned. I am disappointed, I really wanted this to be good. read more

We love this place! Great service and a big menu. They make some good, affordable margaritas here and we love both of the flavors of salsa that they have. We took our cousins here when they came in town and they liked it as well. We will definitely be back! read more

Salsa and homemade chips were the highlight. No effort to go back. The only food item that had any flavor was the salsa. Service was mediocre. Margarita was watery and forgettable. Negra Modelo on tap - ok. Queso was served in a mortar - what? Warm but not great. Not enough chips to eat it until halfway thru our meal so cooled by then. Chicken Enchiladas - Stewed and shredded Chicken was moist but flavorless. Brown sauce on top was salty like canned soup. Rice and beans were barely warm. Beef taco had strips of sliced beef which was cooked nicely and moist. The other ingredient was soggy white onions - not grilled. No seasoning. Flour tortilla contributed no flavor.Added lots of salsa to compensate. Other entree was carnitas. Meat was lightly seasoned but barely warm. Rice and beans were cold. We don't live in LH or near any of the other locations and have eaten at most of them at one time or another.....the service has always been good and the food quality varies....driving through LH late Sunday pm, we decided to get some dinner....I saw a new (to me) menu item enchiladas Rio Grande made with blue corn tortillas.....immediately ordered them as blue corn is tastier and healthier than regular white corn tortillas which are mostly gmo.....there is no gmo blue corn that I know of....when the dish arrived, I cut into them to find no blue corn tortillas....brought to the attention of the cashier and then the server....they were profusely apologetic and somewhat confused how that happened; first saying the kitchen was out and that they should have let me know and then saying the kitchen messed up...what they did next was some of the best customer service ever experienced: they comped our entire meal of two entrees and two corona zero beers and had the kitchen make the dish with blue corn tortillas which they found they had and gave it to us to go.....go see these folks if exceptional service is what you seek....my lady friend said we should go out of our way to go here more often.....and p.s. I don't take photos of food since I always leave my phone in the car.... read more

For the price, this Tex-Mex place easily beats any in the city. The food is consistently great and the margaritas are decent. It is often pretty full. Lots of repeat customers. After 20 years eating Mexican food while living in SoCal, I recently ate here with a friend who lives in town. He had a Chile Relleno the size of his head and got a few good meals out of it. I had the three-pack of Tacos Al Pastor which were really good. Add a couple of iced teas and fast service, and it was a good quick meal at a good price. I've heard such great things about Jardin Corona but it just didn't live up. When we arrived it was right as busy time was starting. The wait staff were unresponsive when I was asking for a table. It's as if I wasn't even standing there! We finally got to the table. The waiter was nice enough. Margarita wasn't bad. The food came out freakishly fast. We got fajita nachos that tasted exactly like the pre made fajitas from H‑E‑B. It was disappointing. It all just felt chaotic and rushed and not at all relaxing like we wanted after a long week. Did a phone order and we had 5 dishes that we ordered. Got home and started to dig in when all of a sudden I felt some kind of wrapper in my mouth, and sure enough it was some kind of plastic. So scattered though my carnitas enchiladas and there was more plastic pieces. I also found some kind of hard piece of bone or hard object. When I got there, I was standing at the door for at least five before I was greeted. I asked for a table but was seated at a booth in the back of the restaurant where it was dark ( the front was almost empty). The server was prompt and the food came out super fast. I did enjoy the meal. Someone came and cleared the table and I proceeded to wait 30 minutes and never had the bill brought to me. I ended up going up to the front to pay for it without a ticket. Although the food is good, I think this is the last try for me. I think I'll be driving into Georgetown from now on. read more

Food is good, spice not bold on enchiladas. Taste good though. Guacamole seemed creamy but a bit too much and wanted to taste avocado. Texture not what I love but was ok.
