I called Hybrid Heating & Cooling, and they were able to get me scheduled for the next day. What impressed me most was the communication. I had originally scheduled an after-hours appointment, but they called when an earlier opening became available so I wouldn't have to pay the additional after-hours fee. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. My technician, Calvin N., was fantastic. He arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the failed components, cleaned the unit, and had cool air flowing again before he left. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense. He even let me know that my system was still under warranty, which saved me money and was something I might never have known otherwise. The entire experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. It's reassuring to know there are still companies that prioritize doing right by their customers. We came to the conclusion that upgrading wouldn't be worth it. A heat pump would require a new electrical panel, there were no incentives as I'm propane & not electric, and the duct work is not set up for AC. I wasn't pressured or upsold to a system that would be of no benefit to me but would have made them a tidy profit. We did however, decide that my 25 year old furnace was on it's last legs & needed to be replaced. An appropriate sized unit was chosen. The installers arrived on Monday and finished it in one day. There was a glitch in the exhaust plumbing that was discovered a few days later. I called and since it was late in the day, said that tomorrow would be OK. A technician was there in an hour. He called the office and told them it would take a couple of hours to fix. Once again, I said tomorrow would be OK as we have wood heat too. He got it all fixed then had to run off to another call. The thermostat wasn't working right and they sent someone all the way out to reprogram it. I couldn't ask for better service. Maybe I could have gotten a better price, I didn't check but for what they've done it was worth what I paid. Good solid company after the sale.

It was determined and expected that my 24 year old ac system needed replacement . The furnace was older by 14 years. Keith called for their estimator, Joel to come to our home. Lucky for us, Joel was nearby and available in less than 30 minutes. Joel was very thorough in explaining options and systems that complimented our usage and needs. We picked the ideal choice for our needs and scheduled our furnace/ac system replacement. Due to inventory issues we were going to have to wait 5 days before the planned time. The terrific staff at Best Owner Direct HVAC & Electrical were able to locate a system from another distributor and scheduled the installation for Thursday. The over 100°f day. That evening we were able to sit in our home with a comfortable environment. Thanks to everyone for a speedy response and installation! Highly recommended! I contacted them since they did an awesome job for my son replacing his hvac and water heater with a heat pump system & tankless water heater , another 5 star job.

We've had one bad experience with one tech who didn't clean the ac well, and they sent him back to fix it without issues. I was happy with the work afterwards and didn't' have the issue again.

That said, Morgan, the technician that reset the button (literally all needed), was lovely, thorough, and pleasant. My system is old and will need to be replaced; however, Steve got his wish - I paid the additional $99 and will never do business with Earthwise again, and I hope you will not either. Rude behavior is the last thing a customer should expect, especially from the owner. Note: Steve could have fixed this with a callback, a simple explanation, or an apology for his rude comments and hang-up. One can hope he may read this review and do better in the future. .

The garage is cool and the rest of the house is hot, especially upstairs. I noticed a two inch gap around a cover . The wrong cover had been installed and just taped on rather than getting screwed on. No tape I can find will hold it on and the air pressure forces it open again. I called Earthwise to have them fix it. My first call was May 18. They didn't call back. Two more calls in the next week got me the reply of "We are busy". They need to make this good by getting the correct part or fabricating one. The AC unit was well over $3000. I have made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

The job itself was pretty challenging due to a very small space to even insert a properly sized wrench for the job. However Dmitri didn't give up and successfully managed to tighten the parts after applying sealant. Since it was still warm outside, we didn't use the heater until 4-5 days later when Dmitri came back to verify the sealant he used had cured properly. Then sometime in February Conrad texted me about a promotion they had for a tune-up and maintenance service. Happy to accept and Leo came and performed the verification. Great they could accommodate my time as well: again a Saturday.

This…read moreguy said he works for Conrad Heating & Cooling and spoke as if we had an existing business relationship i.e., the message said, "It looks like we haven't been out for your spring A/C maintenance yet," implying they had serviced our system before. I almost fell for this trick. But as he pressed me to make an appointment, he asked me what kind of a/c unit I have, which is an odd question for someone who has worked on our equipment previously. I then asked him directly, "Have I done business with you before?" No response. So I asked again. No response. It turns out, I have no record of doing business with Conrad Heating & Cooling, because we have never done business with this company! I told him I would not be scheduling anything with Conrad. This representative didn't even know what type of unit we have, confirming there was no prior relationship. The familiar tone of the initial text was a deliberate tactic to create a false sense of trust. And I find that very offensive! I'd encourage other homeowners, especially seniors who are frequently targeted by this kind of approach, to read unsolicited texts carefully. If a company implies they've worked with you before, ask specific questions before agreeing to anything. In this case, the deception became obvious very quickly.

This time they were out to replace a sump pump. James communicated when he was coming, arrived on time, and did the job quickly. He was friendly and talked at my level. Definitely the kind of customer service you'd expect from Cornel's. Premium price, but premium customer service and quality people. You get what you pay for! I'm keeping them on speed dial.

The claim is in…read moresubrugation, but in the meantime, my home insurance has gone up $1000 a year and now other insurance companies will not consider me for home insurance. The one company that will will take me on will not write in a water sewer backup clause, and there is no way I would not have that coverage. Due to the bathtub faucet not being put back together correctly, I had flooding in my kitchen, bedroom closet and master bathroom. Because the tile could not be matched, the entire bathroom had to be redone. Not only did I have 6 months of disruption/construction in my house, I'm now going to pay more in insurance and I don't have the ability to change my insurance without high risk to me financially. I do not recommend this company. Nobody ever reached out to me after the damage, however they did call the Flood Pros without telling me that they had done so when I called in a panic on a Saturday night. The initial reason I called them was to fix an bathtub faucet that was dripping in the tub, and I ended up with a disaster.
