I saw before and after photos as well as the junk they were able to extract from my ducts. When one of the connections between ducting sections blew apart while they were vacuuming that line, they came to me immediately, told me what had happened, and then fixed the connection even better than it was before. However Dmitri didn't give up and successfully managed to tighten the parts after applying sealant. Since it was still warm outside, we didn't use the heater until 4-5 days later when Dmitri came back to verify the sealant he used had cured properly. Then sometime in February Conrad texted me about a promotion they had for a tune-up and maintenance service. Happy to accept and Leo came and performed the verification. Great they could accommodate my time as well: again a Saturday.

I almost fell for this trick. But as he pressed me to make an appointment, he asked me what kind of a/c unit I have, which is an odd question for someone who has worked on our equipment previously. I then asked him directly, "Have I done business with you before?" No response. So I asked again. No response. It turns out, I have no record of doing business with Conrad Heating & Cooling, because we have never done business with this company! I told him I would not be scheduling anything with Conrad. This representative didn't even know what type of unit we have, confirming there was no prior relationship. The familiar tone of the initial text was a deliberate tactic to create a false sense of trust. And I find that very offensive! I'd encourage other homeowners, especially seniors who are frequently targeted by this kind of approach, to read unsolicited texts carefully. If a company implies they've worked with you before, ask specific questions before agreeing to anything. In this case, the deception became obvious very quickly.

Hired KOVA to replace the damaged flexible ductwork in my crawlspace with rigid ductwork. The work…read morerequired two techs at some points to get the work done in two days. The work was not cheap but the quality seemed good and certainly worth doing after our crawl space had a few rodents intrude. We have noticeably improved airflow in the house and hopefully removed the opportunity for future intruding rodents to access and damage the ductwork if they happen to get inside the crawl again.

I had originally scheduled an after-hours appointment, but they called when an earlier opening became available so I wouldn't have to pay the additional after-hours fee. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. My technician, Calvin N., was fantastic. He arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the failed components, cleaned the unit, and had cool air flowing again before he left. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense. He even let me know that my system was still under warranty, which saved me money and was something I might never have known otherwise. Excellent customer service. I had initially considered converting to a heat pump for efficiency…read more Eric came, assessed our situation, and offered a few options. We came to the conclusion that upgrading wouldn't be worth it. A heat pump would require a new electrical panel, there were no incentives as I'm propane & not electric, and the duct work is not set up for AC. I wasn't pressured or upsold to a system that would be of no benefit to me but would have made them a tidy profit. We did however, decide that my 25 year old furnace was on it's last legs & needed to be replaced. An appropriate sized unit was chosen. The installers arrived on Monday and finished it in one day. There was a glitch in the exhaust plumbing that was discovered a few days later. I called and since it was late in the day, said that tomorrow would be OK. A technician was there in an hour. He called the office and told them it would take a couple of hours to fix. Once again, I said tomorrow would be OK as we have wood heat too. He got it all fixed then had to run off to another call. The thermostat wasn't working right and they sent someone all the way out to reprogram it. I couldn't ask for better service. Maybe I could have gotten a better price, I didn't check but for what they've done it was worth what I paid. Good solid company after the sale.

In 2018 we moved into our house and soon discovered that we needed to replace the gas furnace. It…read morewas a very unwelcome surprise at an already stressful time. After getting some bids, we hired Precision. They were friendly and professional as they installed a new Rheem furnace at a good price. Their expert work relieved our stress, and we haven't had to worry about our furnace ever since. But the condensate pump is older and it recently malfunctioned. It wouldn't stop pumping after the trough was empty. I finally flipped the breaker to prevent it from overheating. Again, it was stressful because we were heading out of town and we wanted our cat to have A/C but we didn't want to leave the the pump connected if it might overheat. I disconnected the power supply to the pump and made an appointment with Precision. Today Moses came to diagnose the pump issue and do a tune-up of the furnace as well as the older A/C unit outside. He explained everything he found in a friendly and coherent manner. The pump seems to be ok although he explained how we could install a better one that will turn off the furnace if the alarm on the pump went off. I decided to keep an eye on the old pump and vinyl drain tube for now. Since we have only relied on Precision to service our furnace and A/C, and since there are upgrades we can potentially hire them to do in the near future, I opted to sign up for their Preventative Service Plan. It gave us discounts on the tune-ups Moses did today and the new capacitor he installed on the A/C. And with the membership we'll get discounts on anything Precision does for us over the next 12 months. We're sticking with Precision because they always provide excellent customer service.

The contractor was very nice and did a couple extra things. Would definitely recommend themread more
