I grew up & still live in the area. I've been here in the past. I was at Baskin Robbins getting an Ice Cream when I observed the cleaners owner lady (maybe Arabic decent) walk to her parked white Mercedes Benz. She Opened her rear driver door negligently, hitting the nice parked car next to her. There was a man sitting in the driver seat of that car, who told the lady why would she do such a thing (upset). The lady replied: "yes I hit your car so what? Nothing happened!" The lady didn't apologize just walked back into her cleaners business. Maybe an apology would have been great for that man, he looked tired, maybe from working or waiting for wife/daughter to get their nails done. I just leave this right here, I will not be recommending this location to my friends again. Your attitude says a lot about your business. read more

The dress came out so beautiful and so clean it looks like it was just made because the fabric is so white now!! I paid $160 which is more than super reasonable for how expensive this dress is and how hard I believe it was to work on it and not ruin it. I frequent Los Angeles often to visit family. I often stop at the shopping center on the corner of Sunset Blvd and Golden Gate Ave. I frequent Domino's Pizza, Baskin Robins, Jasmine Cleaners and Ruby Fruit. I used to witness homeless people using drugs, people selling drugs and loitering. In the last couple of weeks, I've noticed a change. I haven't seen any homeless people asking for money or using drugs. I feel safer and enjoy being a customer in this area. I recently noticed, there is a new security company. These guys have been doing an exceptional job cleaning up this area and they work closely with the Police Dept which makes me feel that much safer. I haven't been there for years, but did have a terrible experience there in the pre-Yelp days that I wish to relate. I live several miles from the store but went there because of the low prices. The dry cleaning level of service was only fair, as often items were returned wrinkled or otherwise poorly pressed. Fortunately, I never took my expensive or favorite clothing there because eventually they badly stained a jacket and I had unpleasant dealings with the owner who, of course, did not want to take responsibility. I worked as a paralegal and am pretty good at negotiating, so I did get more money than originally offered but not as much as the garment was worth. Needless to say, I never went there again. Many people don't know that most dry cleaners have very limited liability with regard to loss or damage. Almost all cleaning receipts state that their maximum liability is ten times the cleaning cost. So be wary of taking expensive garments to discount cleaners, as if they are lost/damaged you will not recover very much money and will have no other legal recourse. read more

The actual cleaning service is amazing with good pricing on Dry Cleaning, pressing and time to pick up clothing. The only issue I have with this business is the complete RUDENESS of the front attendant lady. My receipt states her name as Tigranya. The man that does that actual dry cleaning was there before opening at 8am. I arrived 7:50, waited in my car. He opens the business door at 7:55am and hand signaled to come in. He also signaled to someone else parked behind to come in. To my surprise it was Tigranya. I entered the business with my 2 jackets and she rudely walked in and yells WE OPEN AT 8am and slams her belongings. I walked right out and waited again in my car. The man comes out to apologize and offers yo take out things if we come In. On another visit I go 15 min before closing (my items have already been paid for up front) and the door is already locked. Same lady Tigranya was upset she had to open the door. So, your upset about receiving stuff 5min early but your okay with closing 15 min early? An easy, I'm sorry, we're closed. Give me a minute to get my things down and I'll be right with you...would be nice. My niece uses the same cleaners and told me she has also had a bad experience with her and my niece refuses to go there anymore. Owners: you have and amazing cleaner business. Pretty much do all my dry cleaning here from work clothes to the professional suits. This place does the job, and it's cheap! If you're turning in the usual suit, pants or shirt, you'll get the $2.25 a piece. It usually only takes a couple of days too. Staff is always friendly. Parking is hit or miss in this plaza. Just as long as the hipsters don't park in here for those little cafes, then you'll be able to find parking. Cash only...bring your change. I'm a Costume Designer. I normally use Milt and Edie's or Crown Cleaners for my huge amounts of dry cleaning that I have to take care of on a daily basis. Today I decided to take a few shirts to Jasmine since normally my assistants take care of this task and I live on the east side. I took 4 dress shirts in. I went in on the date they gave me for pick up and only one was ready. I was offered no reason. I went back a couple of days later and all 3 shirts were ruined by the starch. I was told it was my own fault because I had gotten the shirts from Goodwill. (Not true) One of the shirts was a very fine vintage tuxedo shirt the other one was a Tom Ford. The woman gave me 3 dollars back from a total order of 17.50. At the time I thought they had only ruined 1 shirt because I couldn't understand her and she only showed me a small spot in the one shirt where the starch had blobbed and turned the shirt transparent and figured they were giving me my money back for the error. However, I went to use the tuxedo shirt in a scene and found it was also ruined. So I called Jasmine cleaners. The woman was extremely defensive and blamed me for their mistake. She then said she gave me back the dollar they charged me for the starch which was the 3 dollars she gave me back. No offer of apology. In fact the woman became extremely combative on the phone. They should never have charged me for this order at all. Every other cleaner I use always is super apologetic for any error and the fact that the order wasn't ready when I was told would have been enough of a reason for reimbursement at any other place. I will never go back there. Rude liars are people I don't do business with. read more

This place has become more and more shady. Now they have covered all their pricing and when I called in for a quote, provided details of measurements and material of item to be hemmed (simple 1" hem) they quoted me $20-$30. I went in to ask again and they wouldn't answer. They had me try it on and then started putting in pins. I asked again and she said now $60-$70. Two times more!!! I've had a couple spills that I wouldn't have been able to get out myself and they were able to remove them no problem. I really hate posting bad reviews but I want to warn people about this dry cleaner. I took in white silk pants to get cleaned -- when I got them back, I saw they had a large burn on the front. I didn't notice it until I got home, but I immediately took them back to the shop and asked what had happened. The lady at the front is really nice, but she tried to tell me the burn wasn't from them, which is insane because the pants were in perfect condition before I brought them in. She said she'd clean them again for free. When I went to pick them up three days later, the pants were completely burned -- almost comically discolored. I asked what had happened and she said it was my fault because the silk pants didn't have a tag about how to clean them. The pants were $200, and they gave me $30 for their mistake. I spoke to the owner and he was extremely rude, refusing to budge or even apologize about what had happened. read more

I requested that my pants not be creased, and they were returned creased. Annoying, but nothing remarkable. When I brought them back to have them repressed the woman at the counter argued with me and said I hadn't told her. Considering I had dropped them off three days earlier, and generally expect this sort of mistake my memory of the matter was very clear. They did fine work, but I'm unlikely to return. I tried this place out for the first time because my bills at the usual place -- I&A -- were starting to rack up. I should've known that things would be sketchy when the woman kept writing the wrong number of items on the ticket. I kept correcting her and she said," I know." Finally I pointed to her writing on the ticket and she laughed it off. "Ha, right!" Okay, but I'm not laughing. I dropped off 5 men's button up shirt for wash and hang as well as a tie. i came back three days later as she told me. Four of the five shirts still had spots and dirt. She apologized and told me to come back. This is a big freaking no-no. I came back three days later. And one of the shirts still had a spot. I was so exasperated I just paid (cash or check only, ugh!), and took to I&A. I learned my lesson. You pay for what you get. The prices are cheap. The service is annoying. I think this is the best $2.50 cleaning money can buy! What I mean is, I am comfortable taking basics and sturdier pieces here -- even pleated dresses, on occasion, and they are well cared for and come back looking nice. That being said, I take vintage, beaded, delicate or fancier pieces elsewhere. I see there are a lot of complaints about the cleaners not handling delicate pieces well, but honestly, what are you expecting for $2.50? You get what you pay for and if you have something that requires special handling and care, you should take it to a place that specializes in such items, and pay accordingly. If you take something in with spots or stains, you do need to call them out. But I've never had a bad experience here. read more

They safety pin your clothes, even if you tell them not to. If you don't care much about that dress you've had for 15 years then fine. Its a good basic place to have stuff dry cleaned and they are always on time. But my clothes came back a little moist and with a funky smell. OOF! read more

If you want a cheap dry cleaner for clothes you don't care about, then I suppose this place might be fine. But I will never go back. I brought in a bunch of delicate items, and they stapled -- STAPLED -- their numbering tags directly to my clothes. I guess I'd rather have my delicate sweater with a piece of paper stapled to it than have the sweater lost into a dry cleaning black hole, but other dry cleaners can keep track of items without stapling a number to my clothes, so I chalk this up to laziness and apathy. It took me a good half hour to carefully remove the staples without ripping my clothes. Moreover, two of the items I brought in were identical sweaters in different colors, each with a silk belt. I believe the dry cleaner must have pressed the silk belts with an iron that was too hot for the material, as both of the belts now have burnt areas on them. I definitely wouldn't trust them with any expensive items or items with great sentimental value.
